Just imagine a game where you know everybody is just a ''newbie'', we really didn't have anything to worry, the games weren't so complicated and toxic kids didn't exist, it was just you, some of your friend and the enjoyable simple game tasks, even if indeed it was simple and fun, roblox right now is better than ever, people started to push the engie to it's limits and still keep going, better and better games will come, even if i miss old roblox it's probably because my mind tries to blind me with nostalgia and it probably wasn't the game mostly but my friend and the moment we had toghether, this is what overall the game and the vibe of it was in 2008, a simple, buggy, very meme-able game.

Roblox definitely wasn't the same around 2017 onwards, most of the old Roblox games, GUI and style had been replaced with the newer more detailed looks. Shame that I only got to see a small amount of that age, joined late 2016, early 2017 ish. I can't say much tho as I didn't witness the majority of this some awesome veterans out there did. Probably all grown up now and have forgotten about those accounts and memories. So many games, players and features we've lost on the way. R.I.P old Roblox. Long live the 2006-2012 era.

Though there were some genuine beginners playing as Roblox guests, it was experienced Roblox players who used the guest feature to evade bans.
For me 2016 to late 2018 were the best. I wish i had joined earlier but i had no idea what Roblox was then. I remember playing as a guest in a game called City Tycoon 2 and finally being able to sign up. What was also good about those times were that Roblox still had the old retro vibe along with some of the newer styled games. It probably wasn’t until early to mid 2019 things started going down hill. I still play Roblox but every day i feel like i get more bored.
I may not play roblox in 2008 nor 2012 but I did watch A LOT of Roblox videos (at 2017-2019 as bcs I was born in 2011), I may not be an OG, but nostalgia hits really hard. I watch Roblox 24/7 when I was I kid, and still now! But watching old videos of Roblox really brings memories, I hope we can just go back and see the beauty of old Roblox once again...

I am too young to have played during this time, but in 2008 one of my favorite games was born: Natural Disaster Survival. It’s such a simple game by today’s standards, but it’s fun because of that. It was the first Roblox game I played back in 2016, and I still love it to this day, as do many other people.

@@Guestcuzyes it was just your internet connection + your browser + pc specs , windows 98 is able to instantly play 360p videos on UA-cam and other similar websites But the pc specs is so high that no one used to have this before windows xp, you will probably find this stuff on virtual machines nowadays

This remind me about the time when I used window 98 as school PC (damn it was so bad), but beside of it negative, I can strongly agree with you that internet during early 2000-2012 is amazing, I wish one day I could play Planet Hot Wheels again with my friend, sadly, It was shut downed decade ago. :(((((
