The tv networks use auto tune at tv award shows like this. Still a good singer though. I saw him live way back in 1998 when he was just a new up and coming artist when I was in the military he came to to Fairbanks Alaska to a small arena called the Carlson Center, To put things in perspective of how outrageous concert tickets have gotten these days, I think the price I paid for a ticket for that show was only like $14 😳

$14 that’s a heck of a deal, it’s definitely went through the roof, I wish the shows wouldn’t use auto tune, it ruins it when they do, I didn’t know they did that, Tim McGraw doesn’t need it at all, his voice is amazing

@@mikehannahs yeah I paid a similar price in 1994 ish in Hershey park arena when i saw sawyer brown and Toby Keith was the opening act when he was just a nobody startup. Neil McCoy played 3 or 4 songs before Toby took the stage
