Although I have left India some 20 years back and moved to UK, but I have had several research projects with Indian academics, Industries and also government agencies, and frequently traveled allover the world and also mainly different states in India too. The level of progression and self belief is growing vertically in the last decade, I can see that and people want to make difference at the grass root levels.
I am neither a BJP supporter nor a congress supporter.. But whoever, makes a difference at the grass root levels and show strong leaderships for change, that will show in the development of the nation. I can see that in India its developing rapidly and with sense of pride and humility too!! I do understand a strong opposition is good for healthy democracy, but they need good leadership.
Just to please some section of nepotism, they comprised Pranab Mukerhjee and gave him president role. He could have been a fantastic leader, just to promote Rahul, the comprised, and the rest is history, The story board will be different if Pranab led congress.
I can see and believe that India been respected by all over the world more than ever, for their outwardness and engagement to make a difference. I am still pleasantly surprised how they rolled out vaccine for over a billion people ,when entire Europe were struggling on the same subject. COVID, Ukraine war and Brexit exposed leadership quality of entire world including UK, Europe., so many prime minister changed, for example NZ, Australia (he was trolled like anything these days as the cost of living crisis is hitting hard on them) Italy, Germany (they all struggling). India is going strong so far and weathering it. Its all due to leadership and having right people in the right job makes a big difference and making prompt decisions. We have to feed 1.4 billion people every day and creating resources and eco systems, create new jobs it's not an easy task. Entire Europe is struggling and we all know that.
Why do not Rahul have such kind of talk in IISc Bangalore (Indias Cambridge as they call) or any of the IITs, that would help him to realise where we stand what the intellects inside the society thinks about him and his movement. It would be an amazing reflection and he can get the buy in from them too, instead of Cambridge which is 1000's of miles away from the place bharat jodo originated. If he really wants to understand and get inputs and express his mission then india is the place for feedback and also once he has done he could explore others...
We can always here one side of story (but a balanced view is important) a lot of good things have happened in these tenure, why he has not mentioned those.. Congress is in power in some states, hopefully he can make a difference show to the world what they did and how they want to expand!! that will be the game changer!!
