That’s a long time away from home- welcome home 👏
Well, I'm a week late, but welcome home, Brocklesbys! I hope your tour was safe and that all aboard came home just as fit as when they left.
From an American cavalry corporal likely old enough to be your grandfather, a sincere and respectful tip of the Stetson. Bravo Zulu.
Nice to see the families there to meet the lads and girls. That is a big thing in the a USA.I served 24 years in the RAF and because we were never posted as a unit just indivilydual
Untrue. For instance, 230 Sqn moved to Gut, en masse, in 1980.
@@johnnunn8688 Yea but how often did that happen .Of course squadrons went went on detachment as a whole.Remember the whole RAF wasn't made up of squadrons. The majority of people I knew in my 24 years were posted on their own.
Well done guys
Proud to see our son home safe
Some of you don’t pay attention and it shows:
The ship was deployed (meaning it didn’t dock in Britain) for 3 years, the crews get swapped out on a rotating bases during those three years. No sailor was on the ship for 3 years at once. I mean look at some of the kids ( some are months old others well under 2 years 3 months) do you really think a sailor who was away for 3 years would be so happy to see his wife with a months old child? 😂
Including the narrator.
Unless jodie was in the picture....😆
Hats of to the Senior Service.
Welcome home
Real British men 🇬🇧👍
❤
HMS Shoreham is not a sister ship to HMS Brocklesby . Press and Media get it right.
Welcome home!!
Always good to see a child eat a bogie.
Will this ship continue to be used or will it be scrapped?
Someone wasn't listening. At 2:00 it says returning to fleet next year.
They don't want to scrap anything now, they don't know what to do with the wreckage. They sell it or put it in mothballs.
Wow....3 years is a long time.
Welcome home
BZ
literally what purpose could a peacetime nation have for a 3 year naval deployment
Look outside your personal bubble, it is a nasty world out there with far too many people who don't think like you.
