Riders and horses from the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery are enjoying the fresh air of the countryside! 🏇
But they're still at work!
The regiment is jumping over fences and running through water as part of cross country training.

@@adamatch9624 it was maybe 100+years ago but regiments have been scrapped while they keep regiments on that have horses which require a lot of upkeep. I'd say let Royal mews or a dedicated reg do all ceremonial and let the army actually prioritize being an army
Ceremonial is being Army it’s what they do.

It's ceremonial & it's good business too. Her Majesty’s Mounted Ceremonial Battery, the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery role includes the firing of Royal Salutes to mark the grand occasions of State, including The Queen’s Birthday Parade, Royal Birthdays and Births. They make a nice profit for the UK as does all the other bits of "live in the past" that tourists spend £106,000,000,000 a year to see.
They do have artillery guns
Outside of ceremonial duties the horse regiments are either Artillery or armoured regiments.
@@mk_gamíng0609 the police do the guarding we have a very small army ceremonial duties should be the first thing to be cut ,no waste of time and money riding horse they should be practising putting rounds on target as fast as they can ,fire and manoeuvre the next war we will lose
