Great choice! May we also suggest Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Protectant and Polish for your rear windshield. Plexus works great to help keep it looking clear.

Always been a Yamaha and Honda fan. What I just saw in the fender well of that RMAX is absolutely unforgivable. Who in the hell put a wiring harness with no protection inside an unprotected wheel well. Amazing. I’ll keep my 2019 YXZ TURBO 1000.

Yes mud busters both inner and outer. But what i ordered the very first day i had it along with those was seat belt harnesses to get rid of that unbelievably thick and low mounted inner buckle that left my leg bruised and sore for a week after only one hour of riding dirt roads. Yes front and rear windows, flip UP not down on the front and EMP on the rear they are the best IMO and they are the only plastic one that doesn't come cut out for the removed factory seat belts. If you are going to ride any at all in the dark you are going to want side lights, I promise you! I have lighted Seizmik mirrors that work great for this. Wish I'd put them on before installing the inner splash guards. Any wiring should be done before those go on. They're a little hard to install (or at least mine were) and i didn't want to remove them just for one wire. Stuffed a rag into the passenger's side grab bar to keep the cold air from blowing directly into lap as well. Oh and don't forget to get two clevises for the front.

We've been toying around with the idea of harnesses to be sure. We just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I like the Seizmik lighted mirrors, too. Good call! Yup! We have the clevises for the front. Those are a must as much as we get stuck!

Mello group of dudes…I have the same machine and love it…I’m in Pa. As well ..bought mine in NY state at Lanes Yamaha ..my mods include, glass windshield, rear windshield, fender extenders front and rear, body protection, tubes that go around the front and down the sides of the machine, A arm guards front and rear to save the CV boots, LED lights that go in the hood to replace the fake air Scoop, plus some other stuff I’m forgetting at the moment, I’m over 60 so the memory is fading ….hauled a few buck out of the woods this past season so it’s already earned it keep, too old to be dragging deer around my farm…keep on keeping on men….my other machine is a 2004 Yamaha rhino 669 that is still running and in excellent condition, never had an issue either it in all the years I have owned…speaks volume for Yamaha quality …they make great machines ….

The only draw back for me having purchased the machine in PA was that I had to pay more in taxes to OH when I licensed it. It seems we're taxed at a higher rate here. :( Great idea getting the arm guards. Rob and John put them on right away. I'd already spent more $ than the bank lady (wife) had authorized, so I have to sneak them on later. LOL! We agree, the Yamaha's are great machines for sure. Thanks for sharing.
