I do not keep clothes for sentimental reasons. I just got rid of a few stretched out and uncomfortable bras & replaced them with ones I love. I declutter clothes & shoes throughout the year and I'm moving towards an overall minimalist style with fashion & home life.
Fantastic video! I'm a teacher and get mugs at christmas and end of year gifts so i've gotten so strict about only keeping 2 mugs at home and 1 at work otherwise i could open a store.
Thank you! I'd love to share that as well. I just moved in, and I'm going to need to create some new storage solutions. So, I'll have a lot to share in a few weeks when I get settled. Thanks for telling me what you want to see!
I keep old towels and cut them into smaller pieces for rags. I definitely don't want to spend money on a bag of rags! So I do think hanging on to a few is a good idea. But not all of them. Same thing for old socks. I have cut them and used them for staining furniture and then I throw them out afterwards.
Such great tips, I loved the concept of this video. I have recently cleared up a lot my kitchen pantry and was so satisfactory to look at when finished. I should also have a look at some of my towels, I have a couple that I should let go.
Im moving house… have done the house which was pretty easy but decluttering my clothes is really hard… 😢😂 I got an app that scanned all my toiletries, cleaning products and food, it said what was hazardous with chemicals so that was easy to throw or sell, towels, blankets and bedding went to the Dogs trust… the junk cupboards are next on the list..you know 50 cards, envelopes, 30 notebooks and stationery 😂
Ohhhh do I know!! I couldn’t believe how much leftover, mismatched stationary I had!! Sounds like you’ve gotten a great start on things, and that’ll pay off later. 🙌🏼 I just made a moving video, too. Check it out for more tips! 😊
Where do you suggest we donate our unused jewelry? I’ve held onto so much even though it serves no purpose, primarily because I don’t want to just throw it away or give to the donation center. Should I though? What if it’s valuable? Pawn shop?
I know what you mean. I have some fine jewelry that I haven't been able to sell at pawn shops or jewelers. Since it's 14K and dainty, I was told it's not worth their effort to melt down. 🤷♀️ Donating it to a nice thrift store is always an option. It will likely be bought, and it saves you from regularly seeing it as an unviable option in your wardrobe. Win-win!

Makes sense to me! 😊
This is a great list! I'm very minimal so I'm always interested in hearing what people suggest decluttering. ❤
Me, too! It's my guilty pleasure on UA-cam. Hehe!
great video, thanks :)

Thanks very much! 😊 It really does feel so good to see the results, and that's good motivation to stay organized.
Great advice, thank you!
