Yeeeaaaaa, so beautiful the French didn't even want it and gave it away as a "gift" to the United States. We basically took their trash and made it a major symbol for the United States. There's alot of symbolism in the Statue of Liberty that really doesn't align with American values.
In the late 1990s, my wife and I visited Fort Madison, Iowa. There we came across a smaller version of the statue of liberty in a park. We looked into it and found out that in an attempt to raise funds for the base of the statue, they had made reproductions of the statue and toured the US in a fundraising drive. This particular one ended up in that park.
Imagine the people of then admiring the beauty of the smaller statue invigorated then funded. The pride of their face when it was completed amongst these people, unexplainable! Interesting piece of history that must be preserved!

Hi there! Great Video! I’m a NYC tour guide and I found a lot of info to add into my tours. Sadly theirs is just one small thing wrong… at the moment there are no elevators in the Statue of Liberty. Not to the pedestal not to the crown. Non for ADA. I must confirmed if their ever was, but if their was. Is very easy to think why they to it off. No one would want to use the elevators and huge lines of guess would form. And the elevator won’t keep up with demand.
There are actuallly 3 elevators. One for most of the pedestal, another one for the last floor of the pedestal. Both of which you can use if you are handicaped. And a final service/rescue one in the statue, which you can't use.

Ok
I came here just to say it's French
No doubt in a few years people will suggest that because of the superior design, aliens must have built the statue.
Stupid people already do
And then after few years, everyone in US don’t even know how everything was built before year 2000.
Actually, that may be the case rn….
Aliens did build it! they came from a planet called France
Surely you mean "it's a tomb, religious site". Ironically there's 2 kinds "ancient aliens" people and sadly only one is made fun of.
The french are alien.

The origin of precision is very interesting.
