This is the best video on UA-cam, it allowed me to set my watch perfectly. However the last part of the instructions should have been in the front, as you must or should, do the ZERO setting calibration before starting the setting functions. I am very happy I found this video, as you can follow it and stop and start it without losing track of what you are doing. It took me only 20 minutes to set my watch, this after spending days viewing other fragmented and confusing videos.
Only took me a 1/2 dozen tries to get it set! Lol. This is my 2nd blue angels watch. My 1st one was solar also but not radio controlled and the power cell has gone bad. I will have to send it back for repairs. Hopefully this one will last longer.

I have a watch for every day of the week cause you want a good time you need a good watch and this was the only citizen with a sapphire crystal I usually go with mavado but it caught my eye
I have this exact watch and have been wearing it daily for 10 years. Overall it’s been amazing, but recently the minute is ahead by 10 seconds and the date is habitually off whenever the month changes. I’ve had someone “fix” the issue, but it always happens again soon after. My watch doesn’t do anything when I pull out the crown twice to change the date.
I have this watch and am VERY satisfied it EXCEPT the leather band, within 2 days of purchasing the yellow plastic backing was starting to crack. I want to replace it with the stainless steel band but have found out that it is not compatible due to a minor case variance. You would think that a watch of this caliber with a sapphire crystal face would have a more durable band.
I also have watch with H800, but I don’t know how to check month and leap year. Or maybe it is just a setting to keep accurate Day-Date, but not possible to check?
This does not seem to apply to my Citizen CB0147-59L. Battery died, and after recharging the watch no longer syncs to the radio signal. Fixing this problem is incredibly hard to figure out, aand very frustrating.
Couldn't manage to set the time and the rest ..it was working perfectly..suddenly time get wrong and date as well i try to follow the instruction but its not matching somehow....the buttons are not responding as shown on the video..any ideas??
just got one for Christmas , unable to set watch charged it but none of the buttons respond correctly way too complicated,my rolex is in the shop but this watch is complete junk. bought from costco no help there ,gonna have to return it
I got problem, I live in Canada, any time I adjust the date then after night the date will be changed for 7 days before current date, Is anyone knows why It’s happen?
i think my only problem with the one im setting is that daylight savings time is on and i need to adjust the time slightly. everything else is good. can anyone here give me a hand with this?
So no one is going to mention how unbelievably ridiculous this is? If the owner has to access a video each time just to set the f’ing time, maybe that’s your hint that it’s absurdly convoluted and complex for no apparent reason.
If you are in an area where there is reception of the Atomic clock, and you have everything setup correctly it will change the time automatcally if you are talking about DST (winter and summer time)
Than it should do everything automatically. Could you please pull the crown to the first click and tell me where the lower sundial hand is pointing? Up or down?
I have watch with blue band it is cracking after 1 yr i bought my son exact watch but with a metal band so you should be able to switch bands Blue Angel 800H series Carlos

Praise the Lord you are allowed to adjust the time at the last stage because it takes foreverrrrrr.

Just brought this model on a certain cruise ship i have several watches some expensive ones but this is a fantastic watch alround have not took it off

I’ve got the same problem. Even though mine looks exactly like that and is a h800 it just doesn’t seem to work the same

doesnt work for blue angels cant set am or pm or date
if you have to manually set everything its not really radio controlled
you have to tell it where you are and that's it, it's a once set and forget kind of watch
