“Ya, I’m going to need you to work this weekend and put all those zeros into a TPS report to verify the accuracy of just how many TrakTAz you say you’ve appraised.” :) Great video, well done, thank you!
Couple of things about tractors. Have dealt with them for decades. We run Deere exclusively. The reason is simple. Support and resale. We have always gotten exceptional resale out of them. Sometimes selling them for more than we paid when we bought it. Keep it serviced and service it right before you sell. It helps. Also, we have a poultry operation. We have to cut the ROPS off our tractors to fit in the hosues. Remember to cut them off in a way that you can reattach in a way that looks clean and is just a strong as new. Hope this helps.
My 2025r has been a workhorse for years! It has moved TONS of rocks, 100s of yards of mulch, loam, gravel and stone. I love my little tractor. I know, like a faithful dog, there will come a time when i will have to say goodbye😢, even if the trade-in isnt that much, i know the initial money spent has been earned back and whatever it gets, it will be a nice parting gift after all its done for me! I will always fondly remember my 2025r as me and my new 3033r with fully equipped factory cab, loader and backhoe ride off into new adventures... A guy can dream, cant he??😊
...if I may offer my opine ... don't get the lowest horsepower on a frame size. Especially the 33R. It will leave you disappointed I'm afraid. Spend a few hundred more for the 39 or 46 HP. You'll be glad you did... and will make it up when it's traded in.and not left wanting when brushhogging etc
There is a little free equipment trader magazine and man there is some great deals in there ! One thing about living in the Midwest there is some excellent deals 😁 pretty cool
Day 4362 without versaforks. The sun is hot, the air filled with humidity and the day is long. I had to move a pallet today with my bare hands. I know now the misery the savages that came before us suffered on a daily basis. Those poor souls, may they rest in peace. To add insult to injury as I was searching the wilds for food I came across a coupon code for Courtney's labor day sale. Like a castaway on a barron island finding a cell phone with no battery. That initial hope followed immediately with earth shattering defeat. May god have mercy on us all...
I just bougt a 2022 1025r with a loader 60 inch deck and a front mounting snowblower. Less then 10 hours on tge tractor and most of that was mowing grass. I was shocked wjen i looked up the price of a new front mount snowblower. Over 6000$ Canadian .that sure adds s lot of value to the tractor
Courtney, i fixed my r-14 tire that kept popping off its rim with that tire seal you recommend, i think the tire shop damaged the rim when removing the tires, i remember they said they had a hard time. but the sealant is working and its not popping off the rim anymore!
I think Courtney probably decided the uses market has stabilized so you can figure it out without a crystal ball during the Covid years. Even Tim at his TTWT channel thinks used are now a good value versus new. The spreads are larger again between new and used.
Strange to see LS and Mahindra on that list. Most LS models are New Hollands with different decals. They were founded in 1977 and have built NH tractors for three decades. Mahindra is the largest tractor manufacturer in the World by volume. JD may be the largest based on revenue, but that's because they overcharge for everything. Mahindra beats them by number of machines in the field and they aren't exactly easy on their equipment in India.
I think you left out one thing on considering trading in your tractor to a dealer for a new one. In Indiana the sales tax on purchases is 7%. (Some states higher some lower) If I trade in my tractor to the dealer, I only pay the sales tax on the price difference of.the new unit less my trade-in value. So, if I’m allowed a trade in price for my tractor of $15,000 that’s $1,050 I’m NOT paying in sales tax. Something to think about or consider.
I was thinking about selling mine a bit back and after looking on tractor house looks like I was going to way under sale it from what ive seen on there
Yeah, tractorhouse is where I send everyone. Definitely some stuff that is priced way too high, but if you watch it for a week or two, then you can see what machines are selling and get a good idea of the ballpark going price.
Depends on how heavily your taxed where you live, Where I am in Canada Any extra money I would've made on selling the tractor privately, I would've paid back in taxes on the New tractor.. Minus the trade in value = a considerably lower purchase price = a lot less tax to be paid
If I started with a mechanical tractor I would definitely keep it as a backup. Unfortunately, I came to my first tractor recently and got stuck with one optioned out with all the computers... 😢
Sometimes, off brand tractors are purchased strictly for price and delivered miles away! Trading in a tractor for which there is zero service or parts available locally can make them much less valuable to a dealer because of difficulties of next owner buying for those same reasons! The closest Massey dealer to me is over 130 miles away! I have 2 Kubota dealers and 1 Deere dealer within 25 miles. Never seen a Kioti, LS or bad boy tractor or dealer in my lifetime (66 years)! Why would I ever buy anything other than Deere or Kubota?
I have 2 Kioti dealers in my area as well as the Kubota and Deere. The Kioti sales are running circles around the other two but you're right to go with a model with good support in your local area.
Or just keep your tractor and get another one a different size 😆. That’s what I’ve been muddling as I could use a bigger machine than my old Ford 1700, but they’re too expensive for me now, and the old Ford is still working.
Kinda redundant on denying other trades when a lot of manufacturing parts are shared from all over. When this discrimination happens I know a good expression that well describes it. But in the end, if you don't like the seller, BYE-BYE and watch my money leave your lot.
@@thepitpatrol the dealer is gotta turn around and sell it for a profit so it doesn’t matter what your relationship is with them their not going to give you what it’s worth.

You have always been helpful, honest, and fair. could never hope to find a better combination in a person to do business with in my book!

I buy all my equipment in Deleware. No sales tax 👍 Dealers seem to offer better prices too. It’s pretty rural and a lot of farming.
Hey, will you be the first to use and review the BXpanded Piranha Pro reversible tooth bar? I'm curious about the reversible aspect.

Sweet, I'm glad to hear that. Surprised it's still working with the damaged rim, but that says a lot about the product too.
Good honest presentation.....
Thanks Troy!
Great info!
Good morning Courtney, did I hear you say tractors are coming back??
I think Courtney probably decided the uses market has stabilized so you can figure it out without a crystal ball during the Covid years. Even Tim at his TTWT channel thinks used are now a good value versus new. The spreads are larger again between new and used.
Yep, back in the game. A bunch will be on my website soon. John Deere's, Kubota's, Kioti's.
@GoodWorksTractors Well, you have added one brand since the last time, but no blue or red? LOL
Thanks for the information.
Appreciate you stopping by!
We had success trading our Mahindra, however the dealer still had it listed for sale 6 or so months later
I’ll be in the 66 hp disc buying soon😊
Nice, we got em!
Great points
John deere told me they would not take a kubota or cub cadet in on trade in

Agree with that, I've seen many of those Mahindra videos :)
You’ve got that backwards. Smaller new hollands are LS tractors with different decals.
@@slowride55 Yeah, LS manufactures for NH in the compact line.
Well Mahindra isn't making the biggest baddest farm tractors, 120hp is a baby compared to what i see in the field everyday

Boy this is 100% fact. We run Deere and can't even work on them anymore.

Dang Courtney them arms turning into pythons
Don’t trade it in because the dealer is going to give you peanuts for it.
That depends on the dealer, your relationship with them, and how much buisness you do with the dealer.
@@thepitpatrol the dealer is gotta turn around and sell it for a profit so it doesn’t matter what your relationship is with them their not going to give you what it’s worth.
@peteverrelli5797 actually they don't always.
