Grew some of these fancy annona down in Miami and now im mostly starting over cause my more tropical plants died. Literally started hundreds of seedlings of every kind I could get my hands on the seeds this year. Would love to plant out some of the seeds from your fruit eventually when you get it. Much love from Wesley Chapel.
I want an ilama now 😂 I like your different approach to planting at this property versus your old house. Looks more organized and symmetrical, although I appreciate the other style of planting as well. Good job on the mulching, it looks really nice.
Thank you so much, I actually still own the old property as tried to sell it but the buyer backed out so now I just have it rented - but I’ve been slowly moving my favorite fruit trees from my old place to my new one. I prefer my new house honestly because it gets full sun and I have seen my fruit trees explode in beautiful healthy growth as well with flowers because of the full sun. I learned over the years it’s better to mulch heavy!
There’s lama plant from El Salvador call soncoya that have yellow to orange flesh and weights two pounds, check it out it could be a variety that you don’t have, best of luck Javi!
Always great to watch and hear another fellow farmer and friend letsgrow!!!!!!
Thanks brotha! Let’s plant out Florida with fruit trees for the future generations to enjoy 💚
Nice video...!! Thank you for sharing my friend.
Thank you Juwana for your continuous support!

Thanks for video. I am interested to see the progress update on your farm at Punta Gorda
How did your trees make out in Bradenton from the freeze? (Assuming that's where you still live) My stuff was hit *really* hard!

Where did you find your ilama I had one I’ve been growing for a year and the hurricane killed it :( was so hard to find it .
Looks great! How far apart did you plant your Annonas?
I believe they are about 6-7 feet apart - but they will be pruned heavily each season
Since you just put it in as is, I'm guessing they don't like their roots disturbed?
I also live in punta gorda. All my fruit trees took a beating. How did you do?
Any beginner tips for growing ilama trees in a pot?
When and how often do you fertilize your Ilama tree my friend?
Nice garden! What fertilizer do you use?
Thanks! I prefer to use Osmocote plus 15-9-12 as well as foliar sprays and Azomite.
What are their main pollinators? Are ants pollinators for them as well?
I really enjoy your videos, I want an ilama tree is it possible that maybe you can tell me your friend’s number or can he hold one for me?
Thank you for your support, on Facebook look up ‘Vincent Bodnar’, he is still selling them.
