might like the older westerns or even war movies of the 1950s - 80s being a warrior yourself might want to say away from horror, sci-fi, for now, might get a few laughs at human fantasy movies

I tried just watching a preview of the show. Too stylized for my tastes, and I didn't like the songs. Yes, it was weird. That's the norm today.
However, 'weird' has been a thing for a long time. Just look up an animated series from sixty years ago called "The Mighty Hercules". No, it's not Disney, but there is a sidekick centaur in it :)

Well, from what I have read, some strange (OK, stranger than usual) humans called "Furries" saw centaurs and said, *"Hey, why don't we take all sorts of quadrupeds, give them arms, and call them Centaurs?"*
Still, with that human penchant for classification, they said, *"Heck, why don't we call them just 'Taurs? Then we can pigeon-hole 'em by species: it'll be neater that way!'* So, they made fox-taurs, wolf-taurs, skunk-taurs, deer-taurs, llama-taurs, etc., etc., ad nauseam...
But why they called this mummery "Centaurworld" instead of "Taurworld" is beyond me...7X=Q
That’s where Foxtaurs, bucentaurs, cervitaurs, etc. sprung from! 🤗
