If someone is interested: Box Chips got an upgrade on it's card pool, finally I'm able to use Burial from another Dimension for zombies and finished my missing madolce cards. I'm not even sure to pull from that box even if droplet is in it, it just provides nothing of value except Yuris Monster, but I'm pretty sure soon in half a year or so there will be a signature monster campaign for arc 5 so I don't know if I want to bother with that. I hope droplet would not come into that box, because it will become one of the worst staples to get if it does, because the box itself does not provide any meaningful value on anything, if you're not interested in the specific archetypes. What's making it even worse for Droplet, is the shortage of UR dreamtickets in the future, because Konami think's to push more and more SR Dream Tickets into our throat, while we wait endlessly for an UR DT. (both formats suffer from that imo)

this set not only makes no sense in the rarity choices, the choices of archetypes, the unimaginative name, has reptiles and is called starving venom but has no venom reptiles, has cards nobody wanted. support for a deck that coulda just gotten stuff off the banlist as support, forces you to go into other boxes to make use of what you pull, has filler instead of being a mini, a card pushed by a skill that could just do bunch of other better pend stuff instead, has dark tuner pends they want you to use with odd eyes wing but not putting level manipulation effect to the skill you want you to use with those cards. support for stun which is not a thing in this game (not the kind that would use heavenly prison anyway), releasing cards that would be good way back and not even hiding that they arent aware of them. did i miss anything else?
I think it woul have been better if they just decided to split the box up into 2 mini boxes simular to what they did with rush. Just a box for predaplant, ghosttrick & reptiles and a box for cyberdragon, darklords & ancient worriors. This way everyone happy.

Ghostrick jackfrost will ruin someone's day, though it doesn't do anything against link monsters. Despite this, i'm still pretty excited about it, if only for being another non-OPT handtrap that can mess up your opponent's on-board disruption. That said, a lot of decks can't use it because of skill issues. Edit: And if nothing else it's cheaper than the ritual that stops battle

I think old darklord cards are in box chips so if you have alot of them you might be able to build it with just this box also jackfrost is a bird counter W and if this box has droplets I think it wont be too bad tbh
Yeah pretty much what Mekklord said, Icy. I love my Darklords because if you know me, I love my control decks and unfortunately, Darklord is quite literally unplayable without x3 copies of their searcher, Banishment of the Darklords. Without Banishment of the Darklords, you're relying on hard opening Darklord Ixchel or going into weird lines to get Indulged Darklord's effect activated to search out Ixchel. It's a lot of extra hoops you're jumping through and at that point, you're losing out on a ton of card advantage if you don't have Banishment of the Darklords. This is made worse by the fact that your Darklord monsters are notorious for copying the effects of your Darklord backrow, meaning that once you get your Darklords on field, you have a chance to get another search off of that Banishment of the Darklords you already used up by simply copying its effect from your Darklord monsters. Mekklord is correct though. The Starving Venom mainbox is a really bad box overall since it provides nothing of value. You need to run through this box thrice for the Cyber Dragon and Ghostrick stuff and even then, for Cyber Dragons specifically, you probably need to invest in other boxes and Structure Decks to fully furnish the deck. This mainbox is just full of garbage that no one asked for while also providing nothing of value to get your favorite deck of choice fully built, which is a shame. In terms of intrinsic net value, Starving Venom is a very weak box in what it offers. Oh, and did I forget to mention that it's literally two Mainboxes in a row? This should have been a Minibox if Konami wanted to pollute the box with a ton of garbage no one asked for.
Drqco face off is for a different archetypes. I could see how you could confuse them because they both have draco in name but dracoface off is for the dracoslayers and draco overlords

I'm so glad I spent my gems on the new Rush Duel box because this is so awful. Once again, Konami making their boxes by throwing darts at a dartboard with blindfolds on.
I like ancient Warriors but i feel they are fill in the box I just only want Lu Feng but if in the process i get heavenly prison and true draco, well i"ll be satisfied Ghostrick is fill in this box idk this bullshit easily could be in card trader

This box just looks like a cluttered mess and I hate it. We did not need this many archetypes in one singular box. At least I don't care about any archetype in this box so it's just free gems for me to use anywhere else

Plus keep in mind there is still the predaplant spell card that special summons ophrys scorpio, plus darlingtonia cobra can search Super Poly EZ tho it's sad that the predaplannig trap isn't in this cuz Dragostapelia floodgate will go hard lol plus also we do got Lonefire Blossom so that boosts predaplants up pretty significantly but I'm pretty sure if im correct Predaplant Triphyoverutum and Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon will be a buy only cards plus Konami got no fucking excuses for more money they just made a Killing in Silent Hill 2 Remake
