The thing I love about the MPC is that its set up for use with multitrack instruments, enabling you to pull 16 midi tracks per midi port (provided that your outboard gears set to its multitrack mode). However I wish that the MSB and LSB communication was Bi-Directional. As it currently stands you can control the outboard gear values using the MPC but not the other way around. It would be SUPER helpful to be able to dial up a sound on your outboard gear and have those values automatically inputted into the MPC. Most of us are used to searching for sounds on the outboard gear. That's my wish for a future update. 👍

One negative is that you can’t create programs with individual MSB LSB setting on the same midi port. Therefore you would need to use an external multi port interface if you wanted to utilize program patch changes in a multi synth setup. I don’t have to reall deal with that due to expansion library I use. But still is a minor bad.

Another thing that might get you off guard is not remembering to save after you made a change to whatever instrument you have made changes to. Like Roland stuff you must save the tone and studio set to a user preset. The MPC will recall the MSB LSB fine, but if you haven’t done that it’ll just revert right back to the default bank and program number you originally had. Integra 7 is great for showing you most of the time the program # MSB LSB so you can save to a user and quickly remember to put the MSB LSB to the user so it’ll recall fine again.
