I’m new to this I don’t really know what all is needed exactly for a cam swap, like stall converters, heads, springs and if a tune should be done before it’s put on since I’ve never had a tune before. My truck is pretty much stock right now I just have long tube headers
You can schedule to get a tune done right after the cam swap, and sometimes even get a tuner to come put a base tune on it for you, you will want to change the springs and lifters for sure, headers will work even better with cam
The rocker arms are stock, the pushrods are stock style, but his block and heads were decked so I think his pushrods are a little shorter than stock, a rocker arm “trunnion” upgrade, and upgraded pushrods are always a good investment, along with the right valve spring kit
Specs?
What are the lift numbers for this cam?
The valve lift is 5.30/5.34
Sick man I want mine to sound like this but I don’t want too big of a cam

The cam in this truck isn’t very big, and will still make it sound good
