@@DownShiftThrottle yeah good mate, does your car have dcc? It’s definitely stiffer but if you put the springs in comfort mode it’s pretty soft and the car looks sick
Exactly what I thought. I just purchased a 2023 Golf R 20 th anniversary These Golfs are designed with very refined and elegant lines and the VW center caps will make those beautiful wheel s stand out.
@@DownShiftThrottle I wonder how a car with such a high level of performance can ride so comfortably. I am in my fifties and I don’t even change the default Sport mode. I drove an FL5 and it rides very rough, even in comfort mode.
Having had the Fk2 and fk8 I noticed that they were really firm compared to their rivals. German cars get the balance just right. Even my F82 M4 riding on 19s and lowering springs was very compliant and comfortable considering its set up. Jap cars are great but their ride comfort just doesn't match.
good
Nice! Looks good 👍🏻
Excellent choice! I love the new wheels. I have the same wheels on my 2023 GTI, and am thinking about getting new wheels.
Thanks, yes they make the car look so much better especially with the lowered ride height, check that bid out if you've not done so already
Nice looking wheels, much better than the OEM wheels. 😍
Glad you approve. Thank you 😊
My theory is VW made the standard wheels look trash on purpose so that people would buy the upgraded wheels as an option or the Autobahn trim
New alloys look good! They’d look even better with some VW centre caps.
Personally I thought the oem alloys looked good too.
Thanks, I was thinking if swapping over the centre caps but the VW ones are a bit smaller......
They looks so much better and I agree, they look in-keeping with the car.
Thank you. Very impressed with the look. Looks a bit more of a GTi now. Lol
Clever choice to keep the 18’ size, colour match nicely with bodycolour of your car, so congrats!
Thank you ☺️
Car looks stunning now, once lowered 😍😍😍. Was nice to meet you. (Lee)
Thanks Lee! Thanks for the slick service! Really impressed. Next step..... lowering springs!
Have exact same car mate lookkng at new wheels thinking of copper
Copper would really suit the car and the colour combination would look great 👍🏼
Great choice needs sum lows now
Coming soon....👍🏽
I have the racing line lowering springs and enkei 18's fits well
Thanks for your feedback.....ride quality and comfort levels good?

No DCC on mine so on passive set up. Will be interested to check out a Mk8 GTi with the DCC and one on passive with Racingline set up
I think the wheels look very nice. I would swap the center caps for something that matches the wheel finish.
I was thinking of putting in the VW centre caps to give it an OEM+ look rather than street.....

Congrats on your purchase! Seems like a lovely car! R20! Love to get up close to one.....Mk8 Golf is actually better than some reviews suggest

Yes they fitted on. No issues
