Chop Chop Master Onion,
former karate instructor and dojo/casino operator. Since PaRappa's story, he has fallen on hard times. After losing his dojo, he became the new lead vocalist for MilkCan.

Chop Chop is a mystery. He certainly had unique powers. First he trains an entire dojo of onion ninjas, teaches PaRappa Kung Fu in a few lessons Then he appears to Lammy in a dream and prophetically sings about everything she's going to encounter in her day, including dying and going to hell.
Dying and going to hell was only in EU and JA versions. The NA version
had her go to volcanic Island.

Well shit, a friend of me showed this game, and I had a fan theory that the dojo/casino thing was a reference to how he lost his dojo.

the loading screens in this game are really clever.
Several changes were made for the game's North American release, which are not found in the Japanese and PAL versions of the game. The most notable change revolves around Stage 6, where Lammy no longer dies and goes to Hell, but instead snags her pants on a door handle and winds up on a volcanic island. This results in some different graphics for Lammy during this stage, as well as the following cutscene, as well as a slight change in lyrics in Stage 1 for continuity. Lyrics were also changed in various stages, such as Stage 5, which features a lumberjack. Lines were changed in this stage to avoid themes of deforestation.[2]

I went back to this because Master Onion has such a good groove, and to remember where the "dojo casino" line came from. Now I find that he references the pre-finale levels.
It's yet another improvement over Parappa's game, even though it doesn't pull down the sky-high difficulty.

Hey RJWaters2, I don't know if you'll see this comment since this video is 7 years old, but thanks for uploading this and your other Parappa/Lammy playthroughs! I didn't have a lot of money as a kid to buy these games (especially since they're retro and relatively hard to find in my area), and your videos were my introduction to the series since I couldn't play through them myself at the time.

Chop chop master onion could be the strongest character in all the Ptr saga. First he literally can destroy his dojo/scenery with his hands (Ptr and Ujl), he can become giant (Ptr, Ujl and playstation all stars) he can appear in dreams of people that don't even know him and predict things from the future (in this video if you pay attention) and he even can predict thing from real life (he says that he lost his dojo and in Ptr2 we see him with another Job).

Omg Im so glad you showed the bad version of this. I played a demo of level one on a demo disc along with spyro the dragon 1 ps1 at my friends house. So many good memories. I would always fail this level as I didnt know how to beat it also when I started getting the hang of it it started getting really bad by the time the fat combos started hitting.
