Ya, "shop couldnt figure it out". been there..i think mechanics are nothing but code readers these days. relying on a computer and not using common sense. i had a bill for 2800 dollars for an air intake and catalytic converter for one of my cars and i still had a check engine light. after doing my own research of my vehicle symptoms( i am not a mechanic by any means) , it directed me to a 20 dollar part that fixed the problem.
