These are awesome videos. I'll went around to couple of houses in my neighborhood and did similar. One was so overrun with Dandelions I knocked and asked if they minded if I sprayed their yard for them. They agreed and when they saw the results, they were out in their front lawn all summer doing whatever they could to make it look even nicer. They are an elderly retired couple and this is the first year I've seen more than just in passing. In fact my kids got to know their Grandchildren pretty good. Not only does something like this help the look of a neighborhood but it can actually bring pride and closeness to one as well. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. My 4 year old even likes to push the big mower with me. It hurts my back leaning over him, but well worth it. @@SBMowing you should have been paid, even if only a little, for the maintenance of your gear - because you not only didn't get money for your work, it actually cost you. I hope someday I can do more landscaping as a side gig for extra cash instead of just my disability insurance. It's very therapeutic and calming to do yard work or even to watch it. I really think its cool you're helping those in need.

Still catching up on your old videos. The grass was unbelievable.Thank you for being respectful and blurring all vehicle tags in the videos. You are a very hard worker.
Great job Spencer. It was kind of you to go out of your way for that homeowner. Homeowners often don't notice or think about the sidewalks being overgrown as they always go places by car I find lol. My husband doesn't even "see" the grass in the cracks of the sidewalk and wouldn't have a clue how to shovel the grass in the cracks! I tried a few times but I can't seem to get more than 1/2 of the grass out of the cracks and give up. I use a straight edge shovel but it keeps snagging on the cement edges and just jars my wrists, elbows and shoulders til it hurts too much to continue.
Weed Eaters seem to be good for doing cracks as well as some edging. The electric ones might be in the manageable level for a lot of people. Using a square shovel can usually work but is strenuous. That was a good observation that people aren't necessarily using their yard enough to notice how it is doing.
Glad you helped this lady. You left her something to be proud of, a model she can use for keeping it clean in the future, and an improvement for the neighborhood.
That's so awesome, man. It takes a lot to come out on your own dime to help out. The world needs a lot more lending hands like yourself. Don't change who you are! Keep up the good work, bud. Stay safe!

I had one of your videos playing last night when my wife passed through "going to bed". She asked what I was watching and I said, "Some guy mowing trimming out an overgrown yard. It's oddly satisfying." She came over and sat down and watched with me. Great videos.
Amazing transformation. Your approach to mowing is the exact same as mine : "if it's green, it can be mowed to exactly 2 inches tall ... and at 2 inches tall, it all looks the same ..."
Great work, my man. Proud of you helping people that can’t keep up, who would otherwise. We’d all be better off if we quit complaining and started helping. 👍🏻

Growing up I hate having to do yard work. But since I have worked for a few mowing crew it has changed my mind. Watching someone take a jacked up yard and turn it around an make it a yard again is Amazing. Once an Outstanding job sir.
I have watched a lot of the mowing videos on various channels and one thing that I liked that you did on this job, that not a lot of the other mowers do, is trim the fence line first, also the 2nd half of the back yard was pretty tall and I saw that you took the bagger off, mowed it, going down one way and then back the other so that it separated the grass clippings and then mowed it diagonally to get a majority of it bagged. It was ingenious and definitely the way that I would have mowed it.
I usually trim the fence line when it's really long! Helps to get all the clippings. It's also a lot easier to mow without the bag so doing that first made it go a lot faster!
Great job as always! Keep up the good work.i hope by watching these vids, homeowners realize they need four pieces of equipment when they buy a house- a lawn mower, a string trimmer/weedeater, an edger, and a blower. Otherwise you either have to pay someone to do you yard, or do it by hand, and that takes a LONG time on a yard this size!
Well done again Spencer, another fantastic job! You are such a good man, doing these jobs after working all day! So kind, and btw, love the music at the end for the reveal.
Beautiful job! I just love so much seeing others genuinely helping one another because I've found myself in the same situation with my Father who had both a double knee replacement and then a double shoulder replacement all within the last 2 years and so if it were not for the kindness of couple neighbors helping us out then, we would have found ourselves in desperate need of help as well, so thank you for being the kind and generous person that you are! What you did was amazing. I hope your customer really appreciate it, and will keep the property up now. My own experience has got me wondering if alot of people just don't care how their property looks. I did a job for an older woman who gave me the "I don't have the money to hire someone" story. But she did have a nicer more expensive cell phone then I do, and drove a newer car then I have. I don't mind helping people out when they need it, but It sure looks like they're looking to have someone do a job they don't want to do. The real test for you will be , is to stop back in a month and see if it was mowed since the last time you did it. That is, unless they hired you for future cuts. Regardless, you did a good thing.,,,
I may actually go back to maintain this job! I absolutely understand where you are coming from with that. Have had a lot of people try to take advantage of what I do.
very well done. that back yard was kinda rough. i love watching these videos. I like the edging and blower scenes...really cleans up well...only thing I say is now its needs to be pressured washed....looks like some necessary concrete was revealed as well.

You are the true definition of a legend! I was waiting for a new video to upload and boom you did upload. Your getting super close to that 50k man. I’m currently saving up for new camera gear, mic and maybe some equipment later on. I don’t even have my own leaf blower or trimmer. I use my dads electric blower which lasts one job haha. So I use a broom to sweep down driveways etc. Is there a competition I need to enter for that edger/trimmer? Or are you just going to pick someone? Anyways, love watching your videos and find it really inspiring. Can’t wait to see you hit 50k and one day 1 million Keep safe and have a good one 😀 Cheers Daniel
Daniel thanks for the comment again! Keep up the good work man! I started at 11 years old and used all of my dads equipment (not the greatest). Work hard and you can achieve anything.
What state do you live in again? You keep this up, your whole city is going to look AWESOME!! I still can't believe how well an edger does around the sidewalks, so clean and sharp looking. Another great video! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Hi Spencer I am watching from Norfolk England. I am a subscriber too both your mowing and jet washing channels. I have been a gardener for my neighbours and friends of friends and I really enjoyed it especially when I did cheeky extra work for free. I made some lovely friends. However I had to stop as my own health has suffered. I still cut my own grass with an ordinary mower . I wish there were more people like you especially in the UK 🇬🇧
You did a great job and I am impressed that you used a grass catcher on the mower, it does a much neater job. However: - I understand the 'broken lawnmower issue' but what I don't understand is, (assuming the homeowner doesnt have health/disability issues) why the heck he didn't get off his backside and help you out by shovelling the excess grass that you edged so beautifully for him.
Love the nice, crispy edges you make along the sidewalks, but just a question. Why do you then flatten them with the strimmer? Wouldn’t you want to leave them nice and sharp? But all kudos to you for doing these freebies for others.
Ok. I prefer to use an actual edger (electric or gas) but there is a time constraint. Trimmers are much faster. Holy hell........I remember MANUEL edgers........that was a bitch.
I am available landscaper in the UK, mainly patios and fences, some maintenance work. I find these videos so satisfying, we don't really have those edging tools over here, that I'm aware of. Keep it up man
Hey Spence it was very nice of you to go above and beyond to help this gentleman out we need more people like yourself in today's world and your exactly right the up keep of your property that's one thing that I pride myself on is keeping my yard and shrubbery nice thanks again for all you do .
After watching your video the other night I had a few different mowing channels pop up. You are by far the most thorough one I have watched. Keep up the great work! You do an amazing job
Spencer you know how to clear the sidewalks and put a perfect edge along sidewalk. I am reminded of my mother's edged sidewalks as she took great pride in her lawn. Those perfectly edged sidewalks and driveway I can still see in mind. She so loved making those edges. Spencer you don't see people taking the time to put the edges on their lawms.

Nice one as always. You make it look so easy
Thank you!
Wow! You’re a blessing to your community! You’re setting a great example to all! Best wishes!
Please do not be judge mental as to how this property became overgrown just focus on the wonderful job Spencer did to help someone in need. Giving up your personal time to do this good deed was an act of selflessness. Thanks Spencer. Job well done.
Thank you so much Connie!
That was a lot of work and it was kind of you to help. Looks great.
Thanks 👍
You are the true definition of a legend! I was waiting for a new video to upload and boom you did upload. Your getting super close to that 50k man.
I’m currently saving up for new camera gear, mic and maybe some equipment later on. I don’t even have my own leaf blower or trimmer. I use my dads electric blower which lasts one job haha. So I use a broom to sweep down driveways etc.
Is there a competition I need to enter for that edger/trimmer? Or are you just going to pick someone?
Anyways, love watching your videos and find it really inspiring. Can’t wait to see you hit 50k and one day 1 million
Keep safe and have a good one 😀
Cheers
Daniel
Daniels lawn care…. You too will get there eventually! To all my fellow subscribers why not check out Daniels channel and if you like subscribe !
Daniel thanks for the comment again! Keep up the good work man! I started at 11 years old and used all of my dads equipment (not the greatest). Work hard and you can achieve anything.
@@SBMowingThat’s it, I’m slowly getting there. Have an awesome rest of Friday and fantastic weekend 😃

Wonderful work man thank you for helping others. Do you pick up yards after you do them for free bc your work is Wonderful?
I don't know if it's Spencer or not but I think he's in IT during the day then does these free ones after work.
That is me! I also mow for profit on the weekends with a few helpers.
I do pick up yards sometimes for maintenance!

Wow thank you so much!
What state do you live in again? You keep this up, your whole city is going to look AWESOME!!
I still can't believe how well an edger does around the sidewalks, so clean and sharp looking. Another great video!
🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
I also wana know where he's located. Would love to hire him someday if he's near me :)
I’d hire him too !
Wichita KS
In Wichita, KS!
Thank you for being a good person and motivator for kindness!
You are so kind
It's an epic edging job when you need a shovel.
You got that right!
People ask to help out every time but I really don't need it! Happy to help them out and take some weight off their shoulders.
Something satisfying watching a professional do a job and enjoy it.
Glad you enjoy it!
I actually hit them with the trimmer so I don't have to get so close with my lawn mower and the edges seem to last longer that way!
I LOVE watching your videos - what a blessing you are to those you help out!
Good you have a caring heart. Great character to do this. All needed is for all to “be a little kinder”
Thank you so much! A little bit of kindness goes a LONG way

Just glad you're a great person to help others in need when times are tough
Happy to help!
