- Welcome to video number 2 of the Decora Fashion series!! (◠‿◠✿) In this video we will be exploring how exactly Decora fashion started in the streets of Harajuku back in the 90s slash early 2000s! This was very informative! I never noticed how punk inspired was decora, but it makes a lot of sense. Punk has a lot of ott elements like putting studs in absolutely everything, the inclusion of safety pins and chains as accessories and not as a practical element to the outfit, the busy patterns in fabric (you may not thing that plaid is busy but it has several colors and intertwine to make more colors) and the lack of distinction between genders, I feel like a lot of punk and decora clothing are unisex. We don't have Dollar Tree here in Japan but we have a lot of 100 yen shops full of kawaii stuff all over Tokyo, the most famous one being Daiso :3 💖🎀
チャンネルアリアちゃん I love daiso soooooo much, I’m so happy they have locations here in America too but they’re so far away from me, like a 3-4 hour drive 🥺 I really enjoyed visiting the 100 yen shops in japan a few years back though! So many cute stuff!!!! 💕💕💕

I found Fruits when I was in highschool. My friend brought it to school and was like "look as this!!" Fruits wa such an inspy! It encouraged me to go to Japan and experiment with my fashion!

You look like a cute lil alien!! I found out about decora fashion ten years ago when I just started watching anime in middle school. It has been one of my faves since I was 10-11 and has always inspired my creative juices ! Finding your channel just brings back nostalgic memories of when I fell in love with it. I try and wear cool headbands and a lot of jewelery to put a touch of decora to my outfits! this is so well done! Choom is an inspiration for my web designer career man! So influential! NEVER GIVE UP!
