Do you think they should add a fight pit match for 2k24?
i know some people would want it, i don't personally. they only did it a few times. I'd rather see other match types. we already got 3 'types' of cage matches in the game.
For me is the Cage is kinda Blurry 😂 new cage where we can see more inside

To make war games last edit roster to max everyone except finisher special make those 30
slow finisher slow special 😂 but that will last like 20 minutes 25 minutes
I would like if 2k add multiple cameras in the main menu options and have people select what camera they want, also it would be great if you could change the camera while playing a match

I haven’t played War Games but I wouldn’t want entrances. Multi man diving animations, 5v5, and an elimination setting would be dope

On the surface it’s really well done but I think War Games is missing a lot to make it interesting and have long term playability. Definitely agree we need 5vs5, Elimination, different arenas and weapons incorporated. I’ve only played one match since I got the game and I honestly thought I would’ve played a lot more. Not a failure but maybe a B- grade.
I agree we need different camera cuts.
As it is now for the first time in a game, it fine but some variation would help
Undertaker doesn’t need a showcase I don’t want 1000 different undertaker models on the roster that could’ve all just been alternate attires.

Instead of moving the cages, I can see them adding a Picture in Picture box that shows the entrance in the corner. That way they can take that system and use it for the royal rumble.
I think having the wargames two rings arena as an option for different match types would be amazing, especially for universe mode.
I think for the first version of wargames it's exceeded my expectations. I do agree once all players have enter its too short.
I want to use the 2 ring arena for other matches.
I want elimination chamber to have custom rule for team chambers. I forget which year it was. But there was a 3 vs 3 chamber.
To make the match a bit longer just use legend difficulty I do

5 V 5 should’ve been a thing with 2K19 or something, if the PS4 can handle graphics like what 2K23 has right now, then I’m sure it can handle a 5V5.
And yes I know PS5s are a thing but some of us brothers are struggling out there bruh!
They need to fix what they have. I did a 4 vs 4 and the match was endless. The last wrestler never entered😅😅😅
I agree with you on War Games. I hope there is not a last gen version and they focus solely on PS5 ect. I hope they can make it so that all the game modes are actually compatible with each other so that when they put in an update, it updates across all modes, including Universe Mode. It's interesting that you talk about the pacing of War Games, because I think overall, they need to improve the pacing of the matches. Wrestlers do not "Sell" well enough, and often get up before the wrestler who actually perform the move. I have heard that alot of people talk about make the matches faster, but I feel like it actually needs to slow down just a bit to let the wrestler having the move performed on them, the ability to actually sell the move, especially the big ones. This is where tired finishers will start to add to the drama of the match.
I was just doing a War Games match, what a surprise.
I thought the undertaker had a showcase before.
As far as War Games goes.. I played it once or twice, but that was it.
The WWE 2K games at least to me feels like they need more match types and modes to give it more replay value.
The big one to me is the entrance thing like it doesn't make sense to have the cages in the crowd
In WWE 2k24 they should add create a story mode
I don't actually play the game but jy efed runs AI v AI and the War Games match has been a pleasant surprise and fun to watch. I agree 5 on 5 would be nice but the game sometimes has issues with 8 man matches normally with all 8 in the ring so I would love ten man matches but even in rumbles they only let 8 players in at a time. So if they can make ten at a time work cool but pretty sure more than 8 will bring problems I'm afraid. Great stuff Matt.
they need to bring back interactions (how you could take stuff from the crowd or like the old backstage matches in 07) it really made for a better experience overcall in matches..
Another good video with an interesting topic and great points! War games needs entrances kinda like the elimination chamber; where you have the competitors come out and do part of their normal entrance and then the other half is looking around before they enter the cage. I also agree that the fact that the competitors should be around the cage instead of all the way up in the back of the arena waiting for them to be released from a shark cage. Finally war games should be in custom arenas, so we have it at events like Fall Brawl or Wrestle War for any of those old school fans.
I think its time for WWE 2K and 2K24 to be PS5 and Series X only and we absolutely need 5v5
Given most of the audience hasn't moved over yet I feel we will still have a year or two at least of it not being that.
@@SnipingIsFun Bruh its been like 5 years since next gen consoles hit the market and they are easy to find now. Hell Sony and Microsoft are releasing slim versions of the consoles soon. Lots of games now are doing current gen only. MK1 did that and sold 3 million copies. Its more than time to drop last gen.
Really appreciate you throwing out great ideas for WWE 2K, perhaps it would be more beneficial to do that earlier in the dev cycle....maybe just maybe 1 or 2 of these great suggestion had a chance to make the upcoming game!

for matches with a cage you should be able to hit top rope finishers from the top of the cage. like a uso splash,630 senton ,moonsalt moves like that or even an RKO
Interactive environments they're still limiting us
2K needs to find a better blend of arcade and simulation gameplay. The fast pace gameplay gets tiring really quick which imo, killed of the war games game mode.
I feel you on the weapon wheel I want more collision with weapons like bring back the corner ladder where you used to be able to break it
One thing I'd like them to add is a mini cutscene once the last guy comes in where each team reconvenes in one of the rings so its like a soft reset of the match
I think the reason why War Games isn't fun anymore is because ever since the PS4 and PS5 were introduced, they reduced the 6 player system to 4 player systems, meaning that WWE games are only for 4 players. The PS3 console plays 6 players since Smackdown vs Raw 2008 through 2k17
And in WWE 2K24, everything you mentioned is still a problem. The elimination thing is something I just encountered as this is my first time playing the WWE 2K series in forever and the fact that they didnt include it is crazy
Same for hell in a cell match. Different camera cut like throwing your opponent off the top of the cell
I wholeheartedly agree with all of this. We definitely need either entrances for everybody or some sort of cutscene where the team is talking to eachother and figure out who goes first, they could change the last portion of the entrances to them walking into their holding cell.
The ability to change it to elimination would be sweet.
The camera angle is lackluster and the weird cage/mesh effect is weird when trying to look through it.
There really isn't any reason why they can't have multiple camera angles that we can toggle with a push of the stick.
If they can't do every arena for wargames then they should be able to add the option for a custom arena and have it lock to a specific venue.
Totally agree on pacing too, as soon as the last guy is in, 2 moves later and it's over.
I'm just wondering was 2K23 also on last gen consoles because maybe that's one of the big issues I understand that not everybody was able to upgrade to NextGen but hopefully by 2K 24 2K25 they might and honestly it would probably help if they just move on to NextGen then
Yeah it’s on last gen and I agree that “could” be a reason why it’s held back
@@AssembleShow as an example just look at I think the first 2K game after THQ was 2K14 or 2K15 I think 2K15 that game just felt like a rush job through and through and I'm not saying it's right but hopefully by 2K24 2K25 maybe the next gen console prices will come down enough to wear enough people can upgrade and we will get a truly next gen wrestling experience hopefully by then

YES, ADD ELIMINATIONS! THAT WOULD BE AMAZING! WWE 12’s wargames in RTWM is still so much fun to play and I want that in future WWE games! “Oh, it’s not the rules of the original wargames!” it’s a video game! Let us do stupid shit hell let us do a wargames where we can have a hell in a cell and exit the cage! It’s already a pain in the ass to switch to other characters to make sure they don’t get pinned, the fact this whole match ends after one pin makes me not wanna play it. It feels like I’m babysitting my partners instead of fighting for my life, let us customize these matches!
Also as a reference to WWE 12 just let us fight on top of the cell and once we get max finishers, we can spear our opponent down the top of the cell and break through the ring! Once that happens, both competitors have to do a button mashing contest to not get a KO! Play WWE 12’s RTWM hero’s story and tell me that wouldn’t be amazing in modern WWE games! Come on!
The problem is there is no 5vs5 as a option for war games or a 8vs 8 that is how it is failed

If you want to do elimination type War games, it won't work in 2k23 model, perhaps in something like 2k19, where selling is more present , because without proper selling, it will be a shit show to fight 3 or more at once in a war game and not get eliminated. You won't be able to pin or submit anyone. If the elimination is to work in this then they have to add some other rule, some kind of KO or such or perhaps change rules to capture something because I can't imagine pinning anyone while 2 of his team are in same ring.
For War Games I usually do: Universal, WHC, IC, and SD tag vs WWE, Midcard (Custom belt), US, and Raw tag
Also, i think they need to add an elimination factor to the match it would make the match so much better and much more chaos.
You know what i've been dying for them to do since the conception of online play and Universe mode. ONLINE UNIVERSE MODE and it can be a concept kinda like Madden online franchise. It would be pure gold
WarGames is good. Just needs a few tweaks. As a first effort it is excellent. Whereas Hell in a Cell has been there for so long, and it's not good at all. Fighting in the area between cell and ring is just miserable.

I wish they'd bring back tag matches in elimination chamber, it was alot of fun, also Punjabi prison would be awesome or the triple tier cage match! But I know we'll never get it, but maybe when 2K gets to 30 we'll get every match type in the 2k franchise that would be awesome to celebrate wwe 2k23!

Also a double ring non wargames match even fall brawl from wcw without the actual match not the glitch mod one that CC had a real one idk I doubt it will be in PS4 that's where I'm at right now because I'm currently disabled and can't afford next Gen yet unfortunately
It was cool for the weapon wheel to be included w/ War Games, but I think realistically speaking, if the weapon wheel got update from 6 spots to 8, then we could do more.

@@Jayden20933 I dunno. We’ve had this same weapon wheel since the PS2/360 days. Adding new weapons won’t help the evolution of weapons in the game. Being able to select 8 different weapons (new or old) for ALL match types make that addition really fun.
Yeah I don’t get why they can’t do 5v5 it most likely has to do with the architecture 🤔

Might be in the minority, but I’d like to see camera operators in the corners between the two rings during Wargames.

and also a OG look with the top covered, like how we can change the steel cages from diff eras. give us the option for wargames.
Not only the 5v5 that don't really bother much. What however did bother me is they couldn't give us a wcw fall brawl wargames where you cannot climb out of the cage because there is a roof. Not saying it needs to be a collision effect but it's the look and having fall brawl not the generic one we got in the story mode. Come-on 2k us old schoolers want a wcw war games option
I mean I play the universe mode, but I still go back to that wcw legends patch for no mercy a lot lately.

I did have the strangest thing happen, for the women's wargames match had the women's title on the line. So whenever the character pinned someone, that is who won the title. It was weird to see that.
It needs the ability to use classic wcw arenas. Option to have a top on the cage. Maybe an elimination option
i would like the sliders to work. I literally turned all my sliders to max so that the opponent doesnt kick out of a finisher but they still do. It is very frustrating

Another cool feature would be to add 2 rings to every ppv wargames is on like wcw but the 2 rings show for the whole ppv in normal matches just to add that bit more realism definitely possible
@Assemble I just want to ask or know, what is up with the corner viewing camera angle in your latest videos? I looks weird seeing you talking to the camera in front of you and you’re not ever facing the corner camera angle whenever it’s showing you from time to time. What’s up with that?
It’s a second camera angle from the side I’ve added. It breaks up the flow. Also when shooting with a. Second camera 1 way to use it is more “interview or doc style” so still looking at the main camera, it’s just to add quality and mix up production

Maybe with Universe Mode getting improved in the next game from what BeachBytes has mentioned, hopefully we might get 5 Vs 5 matches, I am hoping for more legends to get added, I hope they bring back show intro videos and the draft for Universe Mode to make things more interesting.
I watched this video yesterday and tried to play WarGames last night. I say tried because I couldn't get through a whole match without getting bored. I'm really hoping the development team is taking notes from the online community and don't screw up 2k24. Also, not sure if it's me but it feels like it's been forever since we've done a live chat. They need to add Two rings match in the game. If theres a war games ppv they need to add two rings for 1 v 1.
Facts but I think a full new wwe game with a new brand than 2k can be amazing….or just a collab with thq and make the best game we ever played of wwe.

It's the same with the elimination chamber match. I hate the modern ec and war games matches. I think it would be fun having the classic types in there like they did with the hell in the cell match.

5v5 isn’t a big deal for me considering how garbage online continues to be it’s hard to get a 4v4 to load properly. My whole issue is some of the mechanics of the match itself. I just remember playing one online and getting stuck in the no man’s land between the rings and not being when reverse anything it made for a really bad experience.
Also they should get rid of the current control scheme and go back to the 2K19 control set up and build and improve upon that.
The current control system sucks, I can’t build matches logically in the ring.

My Faction. Don’t even get me started!!! After 3 months of online not working for me, I stopped playing it.
Why have Cards that I can’t showcase or show off online properly. Game mode is a disaster. However it’s the only thing they continue to update!!! Can’t see me getting next years one!!! £100 down again for nothing.

I honestly think it's pretty fun but considering it's their first game with Wargames feel like 2K23's Wargames is a learning point and 2K might ok what can we improve on. One thing they should probably have changed is when all members are in the ring not have it end basically immediately maybe have the CPU use resiliency after being hit with a finisher when they're like .00001 seconds away from loosing. It's good in my opinion but there's definitely room for improvement
I just finished My Rise the Lock: story in one sitting. (easy mode) Because I just wanted to unlock everything.
The thing is, it was the first time I played a War Games match.
Being the 1st pick of face team was pretty bad, as soon as 2nd pick of face team came in, I just wanted the match to end.
And after all that, 2K didn't even have a singles variation of the unique arena when it comes to exhibition?
2K should've just used the NXT arena of Wargames with how many times the challenge matches and side stories go to NXT.
They should do a colt cabana showcase 😂
Sorry but don't give us a Undertaker showcase. Give us a memorial Bray Wyatt/Terry Funk showcase!! Other things could be more brands for GM Mode like idk let us be able to play as more people other than Pearce, Angle, Bischoff ect! Like maybe let us play as the managers and some new brands (Like ECW)

WWE 2K24 Needs to have more weapon variety in Hell in a Cell matches. Give me trash cans and ladders in the cell. I think would make that match more fun as well.

ASSEMBLE have you seen the trailer for 2knba24. They have included lots of back stage content, as it were, not just the basketball court. Why can't they do this with 2k wrestling.

@@AssembleShow Its a shame. I think the gameplay in WWE2K23 is better than the real thing and free of advertising and talking,especially the cpu vs cpu matches. The future of wrestling could exclude wrestling itself .
@@AssembleShow I forgot to ask but only Paul heyman seems to interfere in matches, all the others just stand at the side watching. Am I missing something, I remember older games where the managers always influenced the matches by interfering. Thanks
its probably because Paul heyman is set as primary manager for the wrestler (roman) so he will do the intereferring the rest dont
