- Even though Kid Cosmic just dropped on Netflix a few days ago, I’m already dying for season 2 to come out. Netflix hasn’t released any official statement on whether or not the show will be renewed, but Internet rumors tell us that we can probably expect to see a second and third season. For now, let’s speculate what might come next if Kid Cosmic and the Intergalactic Truck Stop comes through. I’m Whitney Van Laningham, and here’s what to expect from season 2 of Kid Cosmic.

All of the powers the heros got seem to fit there personallity of base desire, EXAMPLE: Jo is stated to want to travel in ep.1, and the reason Kid only flew until the final couple of episodes is because he wanted ti look cool, therefore its a safe bet that the other stones powers will fit the remaining diner patrons the same way.
Its Kinda like Voltron, we don't choose The Stones but they choose US
Rosa wanted to be a monster and to be a big girl to play with kid and Papa G works a lot and need more people to help him

I don’t like any one of the elemental powers, if put in a season 2 they’d probably be the focus of attention and heavily overshadowing the former when I feel like the point of the powers were that they never felt more or less important.
Also this is just my opinion but I feel shapeshifting and elasticity could be the same power. But even then it would give more highlight towards it giving the same problem.

I feel like someone will for sure get healing powers so they can regrow Chuck’s legs... either that or he’ll get regeneration powers or powers that let him move around somehow more easily in a fight.
It would be super funny if he got regen but his legs never grow back

Strech powers
My only issue with a limb regeneration stone (for Chuck) is that it detracts from the message that missing limbs make you less of a person. The way Chuck moves around in his wagon or using his arms is oddly inspiring.
Since we know that Kid Cosmic "flys" through the use of telekinesis and not actual flying technically that would leave flying on the board of powers as well.
In my opinion that would kind of feel like a cop-out. I can’t properly explain it though.

Jo is a cool character we need to explore her more in Season 2! Also Rosa and a flashback for how Rosa met Kid for the first time, and how papa g first time taming care of Kid after the accident!

Jo’s mother is all about keeping traditions and being stuck in the past. That’s why she keeps the diner so she’ll get a stone that allows her to rewind time or maybe talk to ghosts. It will also be a few shades from purple probably.

I have very strong faith in Erodious being a good villain. Craig McCracken is so good at writing characters and building on them that I really doubt he’ll somehow fall flat with the big villain, y’know? That could just me being extremely optimistic or overly confident in someone else’s abilities that I don’t even know, but as someone who’s been a fan of his shows for a while, I really really do think he’s got this covered. :þ

@@averyhorrocks5195 yeeeah.. Kind of, But I perdonally liked it, I think that the people that paused there realized the stuff, and the people that didn't still got the surprise at the final episodes, so its cool
I just realize that the team and the stones may actually represent the colors and representations of the seven chakras. It may just be a coincidence, but here's how I noticed that. While the stones colors are based off the spectrum of colors, they're also the colors of the seven known chakra points-minus orange and indigo.
Jo is purple(crown chakra), meaning she has a good head on her shoulders. She usually the only one in the team that thinks before acting.
Rosa is blue(throat chakra), meaning she speaks her mind. She's very vocal considering her's a toddler. So tends to speak her emotions.
Kid is green(heart chakra), meaning he has a deep sense of love. He was literally dubbed as the heart of the team, and has great love for superheroes. He also has some of the negative sides of the heart chakra. Tends to lack proper discipline and definitely has a form of depression that he wasn't probably dealing with. Though he is overcoming it.
Papa G is yellow(solar plexus chakra), meaning he's reliable. Papa G has a good case of self esteem, said tries to be helpful to everyone. He immediately took responsibility after Kid found out about the video. Though it came from a good place, it was bound to cause harm.
Tuna is red(root chakra), meaning he brings everyone together. Root also symbolizes safety. Tune lived a hard life as a kitten and considers the diner and kid his safe place. First one to alert danger, and gets the team back together.
Maybe if there's an invisibility stone, it could either be clear or brown. Clear for obvious reasons, and brown because it would blend in with a normal rock- kinda like invisibility is 'blending in' with everything around you

I think Papa G might be the grandpa Max (Ben 10) of this show. There might be more to him than just a grandpa.
I think you might be onto something. The biker in black implied Papa G had a different backstory than that he lets on, maybe an ex-criminal even! who knows?

I am so excited about the Space Theme for Season 2 of Kid Cosmic. I am thinking that the other Locals Including FLO will have their powers. Also, More Rosa, Jo, or The Kid Centric Episodes would be nice. Bring on some Papa G and Chuck as well.

I'm guessing that a white stone is crokinesis, and orange stone gel-like shapeshifting, and a clear stone is invisibility
I'm from the future and there is invisibility but it's not clear it's aquamarine
I feel that season 2 will focus more on Jo since the idea of traveling through space to find the power stones is kind of similar to her desire to see the world
I think there definitely will be a pink stone
Can't wait to see Jo as a leader.

OH my god Erodius is not trying to build his home planet, he's trying to destroy all The universe most strongest planets so he can be The most strongest being in The universe and then build a powerful empire to rule over all, then make them more like him, Kinda like Horde Prime, Thanos, Darth Sidious and in one way Thrax or Dr Noferious from Ratchet and Clank

I LOVED this cartoon, and I was really expecting not too from the opening! Its soooo good and cute. The art/animation style is great too.
I would love to see a stone that has rainbow pattern with the colours of the four elements like water, fire, air and earth that can give you the power to control those elements. Another great one would be a pink one that gave you the power to materialize anything that you imagine like a weapon or even a simple tool.

I wonder if erosion is connected to Erodius
Thinking and as i searched the meaning of Erode, Erodius is a force of nature that decays and destroys planet. Looking at the Ancient Space Scroll of Cosmic Stones there is some sort of a transmutation or spell circle that gathers and links each stones. And by the last clip of the first season, Queen Xan addresses Erodius as an "IT", no sexual gender was described about the main antagonist(thinking of Bill Cipher or Ego the Planet vibe here).
Do you think that the planet killer is kinda like glactus in mavel .

@@edmilmaldonado5756 sorry, I don't really keep up. If they're from Star Trek, I don't know them since I only saw Voyager. Voyager and Ben 10 are the only alien shows(aside from Star Wars, Megaman Starforce and Alien)that I saw. So you'll have to explain since I don't stay up to date.

Maybe one is regeneration which when you lose a body part or die you will come back

probably a time stone. each stone represents each characters who posseses one of the found five stones. e.g. Kid is a kid at heart and mind(Mind Stone) and Jo despite being a teenager she posseses (Space Stone) as represent her adolescent stage of having a characteristic of a personal space in need. Chuck might possibly posses the Time Stone because He patiently waits for the right time to strike at those who interferes to his mission and his physical body takes time to regenerate back like a starfish in next season probably by Season 2.
I think when you gather all 13 power stones you get a wish

i could honestly see a shield like power in the future. not ever power needs to be planet busters and having a force field like stone would be useful to tank anything. give it to one of the Moms. they were be perfect to protect Jo or Rosa from harm and then the diner itself.
hi, me from the future. yeah~ turns out there isn't a Shield like power in the rest. though i do like how there is kind of a take damage and dish it back out power. super cool one, but i like how Jo's mom made the comment about turning into goo. very nice foreshadowing and our little hero uses it the most and it's actually very useful.

The trailer for season 2 came out and we know there's a Limb Duplication Stone & a Stretching Stone
Some stone must be a mental power, like telepathy (from a planets of telepaths). Invisibility (from an invisible planet that was eventually discovered by Erodius, the stone would be invisible and I could imagine the Local Heroes comically losing the stone all the time, lol), healing (from a planet of "immortals" that still couldn't heal fast enough from Erodius' attacks), elasticity (from an elongated, funny planet of elastic beings) and shapeshifting (from a planet of shapeshifters) are probably certain to exist, these are basic super-powers. Some elemental powers like water, wind, ice, electricity or fire transformation and manipulation, maybe (from planets of elemental beings)? Time stop is a cool power to have too (from a planet that stayed out of time and space).
And last but not least, the orange stone power of love and friendship, from Wander's (from Wander Over Yonder) native planet that was destroyed by Erodius and made him the wandering last hero of his planet.
The 3 people who jo mom thought had super powers: Super strength,Liquid transformation, Gravity manipulation
The old grandma who rodes the bike:Super speed
The two farmers: elemental powers like earth manipulation or some farmer related powers
Jo mom:mind control (control people) since i think shes so tired of everyone not listening to her

My guess based on the powers so far is that whatever they are they will be fairly simple and sorta nonspecific, which means they will have to be used creatively. At the same time, I feel if they are too single-use (like flight) then they would turn out to be some other more general power used in a particular way.
I promise you it'll be like miraculous, miraculous gives us miraculous but uses them in five or four seasons
I just hope they don't redeem this big bad planet killer cause that sounds like an awful idea. I heard they did that with dominantor over at Wander Over Yonder and that turned me off watching that show.
It made sense for Chuck to start a redemption arc since he got abandoned by his leader and had nothing left.
Bring the dead to life! That would mean bringing back the dead aliens could return. I would like what Erodius have to gain I hope the backstory is good and a good motivation.
One thing i know is that there are 13 stones total and there are exactly 13 characters within the diner. Kid cosmic, Rosa, Jo, Papa G and Tuna sandwich already have their stones. Meaning the rest of the characters in the diner including Chuck will get another different stone of power. Each stone will correspond to each characters personality, at least that’s what I believe.
This is just kyuranger look there guy who wants to be hero around him completely different people from other races and the villain already takeover the world there colors are the same there other heroes there is an younger member who can grow big and has light blue as there color it's funny they didn't realise the similar between these they have there own power rangers lols

What about rhe zodiak stones from jackiechan adventures? Could they give a clue to the universal power stones
Interesting connection, but I don't think they are basing it off of that.
My theory is that all powers are mental based needing a clear mental image of what to do to activate theyr powers.
After all we learn it is not flight but telecenisis because instead of looking cool Kid wanted evryone to stop. That's the mental image of his powers to manifest themselfs.
I imagine the other stones fuction the same way.
Papa G is old do he wished he had domeone to help him on the day to day tasks but also being pridefull enough to say he wants to do it all himself....there you have his mental imagage multiplication.
Rosa as a kid is wishes she could be big than she didn't had to listen to what the big adults say.....mental image of growth.
Joe wanted nothing more than to get away from there.....mental image of teleportation.
As for Tuna.....I am not entirely shure.
maybe he wanted to protect the team like kid did when he first showed up as a baby for tuna.
Spoilers: you watch the trailer I saw two powers Joes mom had power and she could multiply her arms I am not sure if that is the inly thing she could do and also I saw Joe holding a stone and should could stretch and it seems to be orange.
Edit: Spoilers: I am right about Jo’s mom but she didn’t really get it and also Rosa’s mom got the orange ring but her power is to breathe fire and there is a stone that could stretch but one of the workers of Jo’s mom has it.
And also you could also see in the trailer Rosa’s mom had an orange ring.

Danny Phantom is a Broken Spiderman.

What makes the powers so interesting is that none of them are stated too be more important than the other ones. Unless we count the green ring but that was because it was being misused.
I also don’t know if I’d like the idea of having a new stone be the centre of a new season for the same reason as the powers. It would feel more important than the others. It would put the other stones to the side and hyper focus on containing the other ones when they really should feel equal.
This is all just my opinion though.
First like
my predictions for the stones and their wielders:
Chuck-Orange stone of light transformation(namely laser creation, in reference to his constant obsession with earth being doomed in the first few episodes)
Flo-Pink stone of shard creation because she is a stubborn individual who just wants Jo to stay safe, and she values her extremely fragile tea ware which remind her of her mother, Mo)
Hamburg-Grey stone of durability(it basically adds some defense to his strength. I'm also thinking the stone would increase the internal strength of the user, as the residents of said planet were beings who could go from being weak to muscle-heads the hotter their planet's atmosphere got)
Fry-Mauve Stone of projection(able so summon images of what they desire, I chose this namely because he has tatoos, and he doesn't really interract much, I didn't really get too much out of him aside from those moments when he usually talked quietly to others, so I hope this works!)
Carl-Tan Stone of Mind-reading(he keeps saying how he always knew something)
Ramona Flores-Olive stone of Plantlife(based on how she's usually wearing roses on her)
Carlos Flores-Lime colored stone of barriers(because he wants to protect Rosa)
Carla-Black stone of Super Speed(based off of her black bike)
and finally Erodius' potential power(my theory): TERRAKINESIS!

I can at least think of six power in the top of my head and that power and it user is.
The cook = super Strength
The moustache dude = goo/toxic transformation
The truck driver = animal as power
The biker = super speed
Rosa's mom = plant manipulation
Chuck = regeneration/super heal

I ask little from the second season. I hope the final boss will be cool.
For the story who will use the other suspicious stones will be the others in the room. More perhaps the black motorcyclist (I know I see it impossible but so they fall into 13), although perhaps they will introduce a new character for the second.
For the powers I hope for Super Speed.

All my questions are are there other abilities from the five stones like when kid cosmic unlock telekinesis so if the green stone has flight and unlock another ability telekinesis so what other abilities to the five and 13 other power stones I can only think what kind of powers
