I didn't know Harris, but I think he would find it hilarious that the documentary about him is only a trailer... I'm grateful to see this, and hold him in a special place in my heart.

Man I still think about this guy. This was the 1st celebrity death that actually hit me hard and made me legitimately sad and mad. To the point it was a physical reaction. I had to clock out of work and take a break when I heard it. So much amazing work in such a short time. So much potential lost. Life the last few years would have been better with him here. RIP Harris

If you ever listen to the Pete Holmes podcasts with him it's even sadder. He thought he was over the addition, but it ended his life too soon.

If you’re reading this- listen to his sisters podcast! “Last Day” The early seasons are heavily focused on the loss of Harris

Wow - this is great. Seemed like a buddy from listening to him on podcasts. Love Harris. RIP

This one always hurt. As a fellow phish nerd around the same age as him when he was alive, i could relate to so much stuff he was talking about. He was awesome, and it stung me hard when I heard about his passing.

Comedy would be different today if Harris was here. But his influence is seen through many comedians and comedy writers to this day.

I was searching for foam corner and found this. I lost my sister the same way coming up on 6 months ago. I felt for his family when he passed but didn’t know what it was like then. I’m going to sit and pray for them right now. The world is beautiful and cruel and I just hope beyond hope that people can be ok. If you’re reading this and prayer isn’t your style, please send positive vibes towards his family. Also he was terrible at getting people into Phish.

This makes me so happy. I Love Harris so much and I've never met the guy. He's the buddy everyone wished they could have had. Its so weird to miss someone you have never met before..

Did this project ever getting released? I'd love to see the whole thing. Harris, even though I didn't know him, had an enormous impact on my life.

Much love from a swedish Harris fan.
Though I only saw him a handful of times on Parks & rec, and though he clearly was great on camera the I just wondered further how he was in his primary domain and vineyard as a writer and co-writer (since everything he has been involved in I love).
Feels like he was a buddy and it felt like I knew him even though I probably saw him on less 120 second screen time.

I hope you pick this up again at some point. Stephanie is great, but I also think it's valuable to have the perspective of someone who isn't quite so close to the situation. (Not a knock on her, just an observation that a little more distance from Harris personally would probably result in a different and probably equally valuable end product)

Can you please tell us more about the state of the film? Do you/they need finishing funds, or is it incomplete for other reasons?

The footage has been lost, and between Stephanie's book and S1 of Last Day, Harris' story has been well covered for the time being. Maybe down the road?

    Harris’s sister is very pretty!

  • @joesephkroll2056
    @joesephkroll2056 2 роки тому

Matt marcus ignored signs. So did his sister. I personally dont do hard drugs anymore but the signs are obvious. Not to blame anyone, harris would have still died 'maybe'. Everyone plays down how much they knew though. They had all the signs and chances to stop it, but they didnt. Then after he died they play up the sadness. His sister has a Podcast, everyone is gaining and harris is gone. That's preposterous.

    • @SC-qu7wk

His sister lived in another state and was in communication with him. I don’t think you realize how easy it is for people to hide drug abuse and pretend like everything is under control.
