A little row finding/cutting. Definitely better than cutting the backing.

Probably some African Americans house lmao.
      They're immune to it.
Don't get mad, it's a meme and done by black people themselves

Pliers, sign of a true carpet guy. Then the tractor roller over the seam completely against the manual. Shrug, Americans paying for this now a days? Microwaved the seam together ok. Ya. 😂 it’s done though yah?

His job is not to please some knob on youtube. It's to please his customer. The customers are obviously happy with the way he does things or he would not have such good reviews. I'm not a fan of a tractor but if he finds it works for him... so be it . . Problem with the Kool glide ? What do you suggest, wet towels and a cloths iron like the hacks on youtube.

Pliers (needle nose) can be part of your tool belt! There can be many uses for them so you keep them near to you. Such as , pulling ONE fiber out of the seam sealer that will mess up your seam ! Things depending on how you were taught and what works for you! I figure you'd reach in to grab one fiber covered in sealer and then end up spreading sealer all over the place! Know, let's discuss the use of a tractor shall we? What IS the purpose and function of the tractor? Maybe I can tell you,, it is to push the backing of the carpet into the bonding agent that's going to hold it together! It also helps separate the pile of said rug. Then I ask you,,,, what manual do you speak of that this process is completely against? Then theres the Microwave seamer,, better known as a Cool Glide! My suspicion is ,, you all upset that you can't afford one! I would think that the reason you can't afford one is because you are a hack and have no idea on how to install carpet, let alone do a repair!! I suggest you keep your eyes and ears open and learn as much as you can, and your mouth shut unless it's in the form of a question!! 😅
