Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. Lieu received an artist fellowship from the MA Cultural Council, has written for the NY Times, and lectured at Brown University, the NAEA conference, and in Vancouver & China. She has been profiled in Artsy, Hyperallergic, KPCC, & WBUR.

I've seen her in your imaginary character design video and I was really inspired by her art and the process she goes through when drawing was really intriguing and I learned a lot from her, she's a really fun person to listen to. I hope you guys could make another draw from imagination video because that's something I struggle with because I got used to using a lot of reference images whether that be from photos or from life. Kudos to you guys, I love this channel ✌️✌️

Looking at these accepted portfolio videos and videos like this one, they simultaneously give me SO much inspiration as well as make me way too aware of how unskilled i still am. Nonetheless, i watch these videos every time i need to be inspired. *Absolutely phenomenal, a visual delight*

1 thing I don't understand. Why do some of your sketchbooks look so neat? Because then they wouldn't be considered sketchbooks anymore, now would they? They would be considered art books.
