No one is stopping this epic tag team…at least no one in the Monsterverse. But what about over in another monster universe - Pacific Rim? there's no power up that Godzilla had in King of the monsters that wasn't ass pull. Only the new form is a proper power up.

I keep hearing people mention godzilla taking a nuke as a feat, but doesn't he get energy from radiation?
Yes but the radiation alone does not combust and tear apart things. Radiation causes diseases and kills slowly. Burst of power like nuclear weapons could shred the toughest objects into atom. Radiation cannot do that. Hence taking a nuke is feat and absorbing radiations isn't. The toughness that takes to withstand a nuke is definitely a feat.
The radiation factor may have been nullified cuz of that, yes, but you also have to account for the pure heat of the explosion itself. Hold on, I’ll follow up on this, just let me do some light research on how hot modern nukes can be.
Aight so, a 1 megaton nuke can produce temperatures at around 100 million degrees Celsius at the center of the explosion, this temperature being around four or five times the temperature at the center of our Sun. Legendary Godzilla tanked Castle Bravo, a 15 megaton nuke. So he tanked an explosion that’s around 60-75 times that of the center of our Sun.
If that wasn’t enough to show it as a feat, Legendary also tanked the Permian Impact asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. At point blank impact. It literally hit HIM and he survived.

Pacific Rim is gonna get wreaked waaaaaaay too hard. Godzilla could probably even solo and do it from a distance with his atomic breath. I also agree with what you said about Godzilla and Kong having the weight advantage, giving them the ability to easily thwack the Jaegers through buildings. It would be cool if they actually did a crossover between the two universes.

Kong falls from thousands of feet in the air, travels across the hollow earth, climbs from the hallow earth, fights Godzilla and has a sedative that keeps him from getting to hyped cause it literally slows his heart beat(the sedative used when he was being carried by helicopter) then after being revived he fights with Godzilla. Safe to say he was definitely under 50% at the end of that movie. Directors even said him and Godzilla were at 50% at there fight. He’s way nerfed before that final fight

I think this guy forgot Godzilla was fighting Mecha at like 20% of his full power because Godzilla had no rest during the movie what so ever. He was more tired then Kong

I'd still give it to Kong and Godzilla but mainly Godzilla carrying. Godzilla almost beat ghidorah twice, the first he ran and the second humans helped him with the oxygen bomb, after already beating him in the past. Kong just has to hold his own with Mecha Godzilla until Godzilla can come help, which I believe he could if he's healthy especially with his agility. Mecha Godzilla only had to upper hand in his fight with Godzilla because Godzilla was exhausted from being on the move for days and fighting Kong twice during that.
i'd say Kong and Goji take it. goji takes ghidorah and kong takes mecha. if they are fully rested, they got it.
Plot armor is on Godzilla and Kong’s side. Not to mention megamind’s quite “the thing about villains, is that they always LOSE!”

The director of Godzilla vs Kong literally said Godzilla was not toying with them so and don't you remember the Egypt fight in the newest movie Tom did that and he wasn't even trying he was just trying to get Godzilla's help. And kong knocked out Godzilla several times. He knocked out Godzilla in his new form While not trying and Godzilla trying his hardest which is probably the reason he didn't talk about the scene because it would show how strong kong actually is.
The MUTOs from Godzilla 2014 destroy the Rimverse let alone Godzilla or Kong themselves.

I thought I read that he's not going to stay pink. His leaner body and more muscular arms may stay but I think the pink energy will burn off and he'll revert back to blue. Kinda like how he didn't stay orange/burning in King of the Monsters. I can't remember who said or if that stays true. I don't think it was Wingard who said it but it might have been. Honestly I'm fine either way though. I like both looks..

Tho maybe not, maybe it evolved so much that it has a higher limit and control that it doesn't need thermo anymore, the pink version might be stronger, and can get stronger as it evolves.

It’s because one of the main reasons is the monsterverse Kaijus are now fast as fuck while a Jaeger takes half a minute for a single right hand hook.
Correct if I’m wrong, but at the end of the latest pacific rim there was a portal to the kaiju universe, so would that count
"Leatherback" would get about as good odds against Kong as I would get against Mike Tyson.
This would be a niche thing, but could the precursors (who made and control the kaiju) find a way to use emotions against the pair (maybe using tech, or those weird psychic powers of theirs)? The same way Monarch's Orca device could make a Titan docile, enraged, or think there's another Alpha somewhere?
When I saw Pacific Rim 2 and the mega kaiju I was thinking oh this would be an interesting match up between Godzilla but then a part of me deflated when the mega kaiju was killed by a 200ft robot falling from the sky.
The concept missed its window after showing the hollow Earth---If everything originated in the Kaiju dimension (Pacific Rim) it would have been possible and epic!

I thought it was gonna be the opposite way but the weight came into play. It made a big difference.
I think that they would both win. The only thing I'm worried about is obsidian fury's heat blade against Kong. Godzilla will most likely be able to ignore this due to his tough scales and skin, including his pain tolerance. I think if Godzilla wasn't there to protect Kong, Kong would die against the heat blades

I doubt the groups from Pacific rim will group up on Godzilla and kong if I'm honest lol. I feel pink Godzilla will start taking out the Kaiju because that's what he does. The Jaegers will probably help him at first or if nothing else, watch carefully. With kongs help, it will go even faster. If the Jaegers then decide there a threat, then that's when the Jaegers die
