Amazing video. Word of caution: flaxeed can cause protein overload so be careful on how often you apply the moisturizer. Personally I would use the treatment as a deep conditioning mask with heat for 30 to 45 min and then rinse it out…
I miss making my own moisturizer. This is my second time going natural because the first time I was trying to be too natural using cream base products This time I experimented with curling products and I realized my hair does better with water based products and Humectants. I only use 2 products and now I’m happy with my hair finally.
@@audchy8941 not long enough considering the water content. E-wax helps bind the water and oil to stay together, without it, it gets separated coz water and oil do not mix atall
Darling, I love your videos. And I wish make the same care for my hair. But the problem is shea butter here in Brazil is fake. Where you buy original one.
Glycerin is mostly a humectant and moisturizer and even thought it has some components of a preservative, I won’t recommend as it is not a proper preservative.

Hey sis did you just say I can use bees wax instead of that emulsifying wax (BTMS) you are using? And it will be ok to mix my oils and liquids perfectly?
Yes, beeswax can also be used, but when it comes to emulsification of two immiscible liquids, emulsifying wax is better. But beeswax is also a good alternative
@@oluchicaroline Thank you so much sis🥺❤️. I was asking because I've been wanting to make my own live in but all the videos I've watched they used BTMS and with where I live I don't know where I can find BTMS
@@oluchicaroline Very nice video But you CAN NOT use beeswax instead of BTMS. It will not work the same. Btms is an emulsifier(it's causes water and oil to mix) While beeswax is a thickener or hardener. If you swap those two your mixture will separate

Thank you for that information. I think I’ll try it that way first.
I used flaxseed gel in my hair regularly for two years I never had that problem. With added items she added it's not a problem.😊
I would substitute it for okra or aloe vera gel for that reason
@@lisapooler8436 For us with low porosity & fine hair, protein overload can happen at a snap of fingers.. our hair is very sensitive 😩
What is the harm of protein overload?
