  • This was an amazing day despite the gloomy cloud-covered summits. The plan for the day was to hike Redfield and Cliff then take the bushwhack off of Cliff down to the Flowed Lands. After that, I would hike to climb Marshall and head back out through Avalanche Pass. Unfortunately, plans changed after the bushwhack had me soaked and out of extra layers. My bottom layers were completely saturated and they were my last layer. I didn't want to hike longer than necessary in wet clothing. I'll be back for Marshall, either way, it was amazing to finally climb past 30 now. 15 Mountains left to do and the glorious 46er patch is in reach!
