Okay, I've seen you do this too many times to ignore. On a break type torque wrench, once it clicks the first time YOU STOP! Reclicking results in an overtorque of the bolt/nut/connector.
You are right, it is an annoying habit lol. Will pay more attention in future :)
Hope you get this did you press bearings out of swing arm roller side. Iam having a nightmare trying to remove the spacer gives no perch to get behind to tap. I've tried heating. Just wondering if you had any problems.
Hi Shane, I was lucky that the chap who did my powder coating pushed the bearings out for me 😊
when you put the bearings in the swing arm did you heat [ Haynes quote 150 degrees ] the arm first ? I got mine back from powder coat and got new bearings to put in just getting a bit unsure to use heat on my new paint.
Hi Tim,
My powder coater refitted my bearings for me, that being said I would gently heat the arm with a heat gun and freeze the bearings before installation. 150 degrees sounds over the top.
@@DesmoWerx thanks mate they went in after freezing them over night
I guess im randomly asking but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Ronald Rudy instablaster ;)
@Jesse Enoch I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
That’s a beautifully painted swingarm too bad you reused, ugly, rusty old bolts to put it back together with…
I follow your videos with passion sin you are so far away otherwise I would come to see you in the workshop
Thanks Michele, glad you enjoy the videos, if you ever come to UK say hello :)
Is the sprocket carrier aftermarket?
Hi Logan, Yes it is a Renthal carrier, you can use Renthal or JT sprockets on it.
I can’t understand the point of rebuilding a bike when you put Rusty bolts back on it looks like you found the hardware from a junkyard… why wouldn’t you clean the axle while it’s out and get all the corrosion off it.
