Thank you for a wonderful podcast, I’ve only just found you through some of my wonderful yarny friends. I’ve bought your sock pattern to start, I’ve only ever made one pair of socks before. Thanks again
Greetings from Sydney! I love to hear another Oz knitting podcaster, especially getting to know our own indie dyers. I’ve also enjoyed your content, thank you ☺️
Stay on that shawl Kath - we‘ve all had projects that try our skills and patience but it’s always worth it . I’m looking forward to seeing it finished - it will be spectacular.
You never cease to amaze me with all your projects and progress! I love the silk you're using for your Ghost Whisperer. When I went to make my very first garment and didn't know where to start with buying yarn, I stumbled across Zigo Zago online. Pam was SO helpful and kind. You've reminded me to pay her site another visit soon!
Magnolia bloom looks fantastic on you Kath! Another great episode and lots of beautiful projects. Have fun at Bendigo, can’t wait to hear all about it.
I have a Magnolia Bloom too and it's coming with me to Bendigo, as it's really warm...we will be twinning 😁 I am always blown away by the huge amount of knitting you do, and by it's beauty too! Looking forward to seeing those SW shawls grow... happy knitting, Kath! xxx
I only started knitting socks last year, with your encouragement I am knitting up a pair of "A walk through time DK socks" to put in the sockalong. Your podcast is the only one I take notes in, so I can look patterns/techniques up.
Loved the episode Kath and I really enjoyed testing the Hobart socks for you. It is such a great pattern. I’m nearly finished the second sock. So many problems want my attention. Great giveaway. Love Maximoo yarns. His colours are amazing.
Lovely to catch up with you,Kath👌❤️🙏 Interesting how your Stephen bubble shawl yellow section mimics your skateboard art on the wall behind you.Congratulations on your sock launch and thanks for the discount code.Your detailed explanations for the Canberra are so well written and helpful for a newbie sock knitter. Was interesting to hear about Jensen, which I'm curious to use.Toothy is good for certain projects.Have a great week, young lady.🙏💐xx
Thanks Annie - you’re right, the skateboard is definitely in my favourite colour scheme of ‘all the bright colours’ 🤣 I’m so glad you like the sock pattern.
Love your videos! So nice to have in while I work! Your cozy blanket is stunning and love everything you do with socks! Gorgeous yarn from maximoo.. colour is stunning
I am so happy to find you, I am also a knitter in Melbourne. I have just spent the last few days binge watching your videos and I am now up to date. I have just purchased your Canberra socks pattern and casted on a pair for myself.
Found your podcast a few weeks ago, and I love it ❤ Also love that you focus on Aussie dyers and designers! I’m Norwegian and have been trying out new dyers to me that also are Norwegian. It’s something about supporting small businesses somewhat local or national 👍
Congratulations on the Hobart socks. I really like the way the mohair kind of muted the stripes. What a shemozzle with the bobbles and brioche shawl, hopefully it is smooth sailing until the end, but it will be well worth it - it looks great!
Nice to catch up with you again. Your magnolia sweater is gorgeous. Loving your bubbles and brioche shawl, I am still knitting on my dotted rays shawl. Looking forward to seeing your starflake shawl. I’m about to knit some more socks need them at the moment as it’s 13c here in Townsville this morning.
I’m so glad to be able to watch your channel. I’m an Australian and I’m always on the lookout for beautiful Australian content. Your makes inspire me. Thank you.
Just found your channel and subscribed. Enjoyed seeing all your wonderful projects. I downloaded your basic sock pattern which contains most of the techniques I use. I appreciate you taking the time to put it together so the techniques are all in one place! Looking forward to future episodes. 🦊
Yay! I’m heading to Bendigo next Friday as well. It’s time to stock up the yarn pantry 😂 I’m working on some socks with yarn from Chardyglen designs from last year while watching your video. Thank you so much for making them ❤ Carly
Thank you for another great episode and for the tip to use sock needles to pick up the right leg of the stitch if you need to rip back. I made the sleeves of my cardigan too short and did this and it worked a treat. Now to add 10 rows or so and do the cuff again x 2 😊
Hope I’m not too late in getting started with your knitalong! I’m going to cast on my Aussie socks this weekend. Love your sense of colour as well - can’t wait to see more of what you make!
I love your finished Magnolia bloom, it looks so squishy and cozy! Sorry to hear about the bubbles and brioche saga, it will be so worth it in the end though, the colours are stunning! You will love the starflake, it was my first mkal and got me addicted to them. Those colours are amazing too! I am so looking forward to meeting you this coming weekend! I’m so unsure about what knitting to bring with me though, packing is the worst!
I love seeing all of your wonderful knits Kath. Your magnolia bloom is beautiful and looks lovely on you. I’m very tempted to cast on a jelly roll blanket as I’ve got a fair amount of fingering scraps to hold double. I’ve had the starflake on my needles for a few months but I haven’t done much as my cat chewed on the cable of the needles, so while I was waiting for a replacement many more things got cast on 😂so it’s waiting in the wings to be picked up again! I would be very interested in testing the Darwin socks if you need anyone else, the pattern is lovely. Have fun with all your projects and I look forward to seeing you next time 😊
Thanks Melanie 🥰 really recommend the jelly roll for scraps and hopefully I’ve inspired you to pick up the starflake again and join us 😉❤️ I’ll save you a place in the test group 💕
Love Abracadabra also the colour blue in your new knit is going to look wonderful on you. Having a wonderful time knitting the Hobart socks.
