its pretty simple if you don't care about aid workers and you also really hate your enemy and probably the people who live in gaza by association. for years and years Israel have proven to be a brutal enemy to have, but they usually eventually toed the line, but their many abroad assassination's and how they deal with threats when the strikes against them are pretty hot paint a consistent picture, they are not phased by collateral damage, and they'll do basically whatever they want in that timeframe.
I still prefer them over their Enemies, but they're military and current Political parties in charge are very incompatible with Western values in those areas.

That's because Destiny is not operating from a place of desire for the truth to begin with, he's starting with the assumption that the IDF is acting correctly and morally and justly, rather than following all the evidence where it leads, which is that these strikes and all of the other war crimes the IDF has committed have been intentional.
How can destiny be this far into the conflict and not know that. You HAVE TO PROVIDE humanitarian food aid to the civilians of the land you are attacking. When the chatter asked “what country has provided food to the enemy civilians” I almost lost my mind.

I don't really understand what his point was. I doubt they struck an uninvolved aid convoy on purpose. it's almost certainly a mistake. albeit a pretty embarrassing one. although I'm not even sure about that. Hamas are known for using these kind of things to transport themselves. especially the top leaders. and you can't really ignore it otherwise they're just gonna abuse it. I wouldn't be surprised if they just had bad intelligence or something.
to me it's not likely it is standard IDF sop to strike aid workers. I think to some extent the general culture among ground troops is that all of Palestine is the enemy. The problem is that we know for a fact that Humas is solely in charge of all the resources in gaza. Many videos of food trucks being robbed by Humas as they feed their fighters first before civilians. I won't forget the fact that humans removed thousands of water pipes from the Gaza infrastructure, depriving millions of their own people of water so that they could use them to make rockets. And the worst part is that the reason we know all of this is because they taped themselves doing all of this and published it as propaganda.
Why is it hard to understand? Hamas takes the humanitarian supplies first and sells the surplus. So for the supplies to reach the Gaza people Hamas will get refilled

Using Occam's Razor, what makes more sense; that the IDF wanted to make Israel lose support even amongst the US by killing aid workers OR that there was a breakdown somewhere in communication/there was a mistake in intelligence that led to the IDF attacking the convoy.

They were. Hamas has been using the aid provided to civilians as cover for their forces since forever (which is a war crime, btw, and this happening is exactly why). Israel intelligence almost certainly signed off on the strike with intelligence that placed the entire operation as Hamas controlled. Hamas has been moving their soldiers into zones that Israel tries to designate for civilians to avoid innocent loss of life. It's modus operandi for Hamas to do this. But all the pro-palestine people won't hold Hamas accountable for it, so they continue to do it, which led to Israel misidentifying this convoy.

Sorry but no "Defunding of military efforts" has ever worked this way. The Ukrainian Military has committed many atrocities for example during their war with Russia, Israel has not committed anywhere near the number of *actual* atrocities that Ukraine has during this war. Nonetheless 99% of what Ukraine does involves 0 atrocities, same with what the IDF does.
The statement was that Hamas isn't funded, which is simply untrue. Please look up the fungibility of money and how it has happened again and again. The civilian population is starving and suffering because the commanders would rather trade in the aid which was meant for the population for guns and luxuries. So we are de facto funding them even if unintentional.

So, the claim that Hamas has been funded by the US or UK is patently false.
I concede that it is plausible, maybe even probable, that some humanitarian aid is diverted, in some capacity, to back the military actions of Hamas. I haven't seen, however, substantial evidence to that effect. If you have it, I'll be glad to review it. The accusation I've seen the most is that Hamas would be using EU-donated pipes to make Qassam rockets; but I have not seen any direct evidence that those donated pipes are the ones actually being made into rockets.
The crux of the matter is: Gazans are on the brink of starvation. They desperately need humanitarian aid. The threshold of evidence to stop this aid should be enormous; and right now there's scant to none evidence that even a fraction of this aid is being diverted by Hamas.
There's no correlation between that and the very direct military support that the US and the UK give Israel.
And it is also crazy to say that Hamas is at fault for the hunger in Gaza. Ultimately, it is Israel that imposes a blockade to the region since '07, it is Israel that is razing cities, and destroying vital infrastructure and agriculture, and it is Israel that is killing humanitarian workers.
The fact that Hamas is terrible does not exempt Israel of its guilt in the matter.

1. Whatever standard I hold Gazans to, does not diminish the disgust that I have for my 'ally' Israel right now. If they were bombing literal demons, who couldn't fight back, I would be just as disgusted with this type of disregard for life and descent into derangement from my 'ally', who calls himself a 'democracy'.
2. 50+ years of occupation; I lived in one as a kid for just a year (Bosnia), and based on my experience of being in a super one-sided war, I don't expect Gazans to be anything but avatars of hate at this point. It amazes me whenever I see that they're not. It's perfectly natural for a population with no army, being bombed to shit by a state-of-the-art army, to become basically insane in every way.
3. It doesn't matter in the least what standards you hold Gazans to. They have no power over Hamas, and even if they did and they removed Hamas and spend years not attacking, it's the same for them: Israel just taking over parts of the West Bank. It doesn't matter what they do, and when political action doesn't matter, martial action will take over - Hamas is inevitable. If Israel removes Hamas, something worse than Hamas is inevitable. You don't build something different on 40k+ corpses.
Those are the main 3 reasons. I don't understand people's musings about the ethics of Gazans - I simply don't care about their ethics.

Hamas is winning the political battle but Israel is winning the ground invasion. That does not mean they will win though. Hannibal won every ground invasion but l lost the war to the Romans.
