Automatic Night Lamp circuit

  • The "Automatic Night Lamp" is a basic electronic circuit that turns on the lights automatically when the room is dark. It is made possible (and really easy) by the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). An LDR is a special type of resistor whose resistance changes significantly when the intensity of light falling on it changes. By exploiting this property, we can create this type of automatic night lamps (or dark detectors) very easily. While I used a microcontroller to do this, it can be done as easily without using one.

      MAF AZES This is not exactly a project. It was just a small experiment after taking a short crash course on microcontroller programming. I don't have it's exact code right now. But it looks like the this one: sprunge.us/IcXH?cpp
