This theme really tells you that you're no longer just a companion on a simple road trip but rather the savoir of the whole human race. This final stand with you against a whole army on the moon while this theme plays couldn't be more of a climatic level than I expected
Probably the best Final Level I've heard in awhile, seriously, the adrenaline rush it gives you and the confidence of a "one man army" against a whole army of Robots on the Moon to save the world.
Easily my favorite track from the game, which is saying something. It's ALL bangers.

This is the point where the soundtrack changes from just being hype and generally great to actively heroic and encouraging. You've got this far, and you sure as hell are not stopping now.
I almost always have the same thought when I make it to the moon arena levels and feel super stressed. 2:49 happens and suddenly my morale is restored and I feel like a hero who can't stop just yet.

They send two hordes of their most elite units after you. Yeah, you're the boss around here.
You mean Hero! The hero's theme begins playin here! It really hyped me and i feel like this song along helped me push through as the last bastion of hope for the humans in a dying world.
Really powerful stuff when the OST can transport you into another world, fighting alongside these fictional beings.
This is why we love Video games~

I really wanted to listen to all the new soundtracks, but I also wanted to hear them all in game first. Im so glad I waited, hearing this after getting to the moon feels so amazing.

The fact that all the light drops give you a progressive hype is just giving a further boost to just confidentially launch yourself at the crowds of elites with a fixed,focused lock-in(Especially if you play Elementalist with Chain Genius- Attunement combo)

Man, this is one of my favourite songs in the game. It just shows up at the right time. Same with F332. Those songs just hit so hard. Metal Hero as the EndBoss theme... so many good songs, I am someone who is highly dependent on music. So when these songs come on, I play twice as good. So thank you! Those songs are always a blast to play with!

how does one describe this music genre so i can find more like it
It's synthwave/darksynth with a bit of EDM but in this genre artists are VERY unique in terms of their style, Noisecream has some other great songs, you should check out My Friendo Pedro OST made partially by him. I personally absolutely adore Mega Drive and believe that he is one of the best artists in the genre.
Ending fools on the moon never sounded so good.

Действительно не малую долю интереса к игре проявляет музыка.
Если из игры убрать саундтрек noiscream, будет не очень драйвовый и примечательный шутер направленный на детей. Но с таким саундтреком игра преображается. Noiscream даже в интервью Бурдукову рассказывал об этом, что разработчики заказывали саундтрек к игре, акцент был именно на детской аудитории, но композитор настоял на своём, что саунд должен быть вот таким какой мы слышим и сделал правильно. Действительно не малую долю интереса к игре проявляет музыка.
