I prayed for counsel on this subject once, about knowing a spouse or being married in eternity; and this is what was given to my understanding. . . we will know those in eternity that we know here and now, and our affections toward one another, regardless of how they are here, will be that of a perfect "agape love"; a love of God instilled in us that reflects perfectly the love that He has for us, towards one another in eternity. We will unite perfectly, love perfectly, co-exist perfectly forever, and know only the love of God in our hearts or in our existence, always wanting and living in that love, never desiring or lacking anything for ourselves or toward anyone else. Our eternal focus at its root/core will always be that of love in its perfect form. . . the glory of God. We will perfectly love the Lord our God with all our existence, and love one another with the same kind of love He has for us, no matter how we feel about those people today. I delight in the knowledge that those that hate me now, will love me perfectly! I'm SURE this explanation pales in comparison in the reality than it does my feeble imagination, but its a wonderful thought nevertheless.
I just loved this study! Especially the part about marriage. Before I was a fully devoted child of God, I lived a life I am not proud of. I have had four husbands and I don’t want to be with any one of them in heaven lol. To be free with Jesus and the holy angels, and our heavenly father is something that brings me such joy in my heart. I Long for the freedoms of the stresses and press of the world off of my shoulders. I gladly submit to the will of God in my life and let him have full control of not just the hard stuff but every aspect of my life. I long to be able to live a free, happy and glorious life in the world to come. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.🌺🙏🌸
I ask one of our international evangelist about this question marriage in heaven. He said their is no marriage in heaven, but we don't know in new heaven and new earth, because in :Isaiah 65 20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. May be thier is Marriage in New heaven and new earth. But we don't know only God knows.
In heaven we will not get married, but we will not live in heaven, we will go to celebrate the marriage of the lamb, a glorious Saturday, equal to a thousand years, but it says that here on this earth will be our home. , as it was in the plan of the garden of Eden. According to the writings of the prophet Helen the White, we were created to replace the number of fallen angels, an interesting contribution, but if we were created to cover a number, does that mean there is a limit to the number of people who should be born in the land and be saved? It can be said that when God made man and told him to reproduce and fill the earth, there was always a limit of people, that leads me to the coming of Christ for the second time, there is a date, there is a goal that must be met , number of people to save to equal the number of fallen angels, no more births... because if man had not sinned, I imagine that by this date, the earth would be overpopulated, of course they could live. on other planets... but reproducing for eternity would destroy the contribution of the sister and prophet Elena the White. Man was created to replace the fallen angels.
