The following questions are answered in this Q & A program:
    .
    1) "I would like to ask what is the Light that was created on the first day of the week. Because the Sun, Moon, and Stars are yet to be created on the 4th day.
And my other question is, why does God seem to tolerate lying. For in Exo 5:1, when Moses asks Pharaoh to let Israel go and hold a feast when in fact they are actually leaving the land.
And in the case of Samuel in 1 Sam 16, when he anointed David. The Lord told Samuel that he will sacrifice to the Lord. But actually, he is going to anoint David.
Please enlighten me, Pastors. Thank you and may God bless you!
    .
    2) "I have been listening to Pastor Bohr since 2020 when I finally woke up. I was raised in a very conservative Adventist home but left the church for many years. Since I have come back, well it just is not the same church. I understand the importance of doing my own research and study. Some of the apostasies are hidden so well that when it comes to my attention I am in disbelief. I am unevenly yoked and feel very alone sometimes unsure of who to trust with my questions about what is happening in the church and in the world. As I read EGW and the Bible everything screams this is what Adventists have been waiting for, why are more not talking and sharing about The Great Controversy? I see more discussions and questions in the secular community about liberty of conscience being stomped on and resistance to conformity than I do in those who should be rejoicing and declaring He is coming.
Some comments I hear from Adventists make me wonder when did Adventists become too weak, and when did we start compromising with our beliefs. When did we allow ourselves to become so deceived into complacency?
Reading and listening to my Bible and EGW constantly is what keeps me grounded, but I have so many questions and have learned so much it is impossible to keep it to myself. But when I share with my church I feel like the response is either “yeah, that’s nice”, next, or we’ll there are topics that cause dissension and have no real benefit so we should stay away from those topics or just no interest at all.
Do you have any guidance for me, I believe the Adventist message is true, but every time I see an apostasy some so blatant it breaks my heart. I just don’t know who to trust anymore. "

The Bible says the light was created on the first day and the sun moon and stars were created on the 4th day. I love you Pastor Bohr but let us not add to or take away from God's word. It is what it says it is, whether it makes sense to our finite minds or not.
The sun was created to RULE the day (meaning the day already existed), and the moon and stars were created to RULE the night (meaning the night already existed). You cannot rule over something that does not exist. He that rules and that which is ruled cannot be one and the same.
And don't forget, the sun, moon and stars were also for signs and seasons.

Do u even hear what you are saying? You are putting the words of a mere man, pastor Bohr, above the words of God.
God was not a fool when he said he created the sun, moon and stars on the fourth day.
And the sun was created to RULE the day, meaning the day already existed. Just like the moon and stars were created to RULE the night, meaning the night already existed first.
The truth is the truth, whether it makes sense to our little minds or not. It is what it is.
One day God will make it all clear. In meantime let's take it as he said it lest he accuses us for adding or taking away from his word.

Sadly, this is one point the pastor is in error on. Other have given good points from the Bible proving so. I'll add that we know that light can exist without the sun and moon because the Bible tells us so in Revelation 21:23 "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

I so love and appreciate these presentations, but I must disagree with the idea that the sun and moon were created on the first day. I'm no Hebrew scholar, but when I look in Genesis 1 and 2, it says that God MADE the firmament (verse 8), MADE the beast of the field (verse 25), MADE man (verse 26) and also CREATED man (verse 27). And in verse 31 and chapter 2:2 It says that EVERYTHING in creation week was MADE by God and in Gen. 2:3 it uses the words interchangeably.
As I have always viewed the order of creation as being for the purpose showing that God, as well as life on this earth, is not dependent on the sun and moon for life. This was to speak against sun and moon worship. God IS light. I believe He was the direct source of light before day 4. I also don't see the SOP quote as conclusive. I believe it can be taken both ways. Lunar sabbath keepers would love this presentation, unfortunately. This is exactly what they teach, and I believe lunar sabbath keeping is actually moon worship. God bless!

As to add to you insight ...Jesus is.the.light..OR we can say Trinity co-existed in the creation...God created..., Spirit move upon the waters...Jesus is the Light that shine through Darkness...Gen 1:4...read John 1: 4,5,7,8

My thoughts also. We know that light can exist without the heavenly bodies as we are told in Revelation 21:23 "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."
And I hadn't thought of the lunar sabbath keepers, yes, they would love this presentation. Not to mention proponents of the gap theory were the days are not literal days but eons to justify evolution. But with plants created on day three and the sun not created on day four, those plants could not have survived for even a few days let alone millions of years without the sun.

Stephen Bohr did not say the sun & moon was created the first day, he said the sun and moon already existed on the first day 12:30 but was made on the 4th day, Meaning that the sun and moon pre-existed the creation week. It makes a lot of sense when you understand that the universe pre-existed the creation week.

Loving Pastor Bohr and his tendency to be insightful I am glad he has shown his humanness, that he is also one of us and therefore prone to error. So I am also disagreeing with the view that the sun was created on day 1.
On day 1, 'light' - an abstract phenomenon - was called into existence which initiated the cycle of day and night. God's light called into presence on day 1 was primarily to afford His viewing audience the illumination they would need to observe the entire process of creation as they gave praise and adoration in response. Job 38:4,7 KJV
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?... [7] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
The Bible does not specifically identify a source. However, the fact that the Bible says that on day 4 the definite articles of sun, moon and stars were created, it suggests a substitution of that first great light, and a taking over of governing the day/night cycle. If God had in fact made the sun on day 1 then it renders Genesis 1 vs 13 - 19 as a blatant lie - because that entire fourth day is dedicated to the creation of the heavenly lights - sun, moon and stars, and their installation within the firmament.
Which brings the next point: The firmament space where the sun is was only created on day 2. This is that great expanse created by dividing of waters - the lower portion being earth mass, and that great space between divided waters being the area or space within which sun, moon and stars would be placed. Surely it is illogical that the sun would have been made before its own orbital dwelling space.
Ellen White's account of the sun being the marker of every creation day must therefore be regarded as a generalization; which is entirely akin to the approximate expression that the sun rose and set, rather than a the strict scientific description of the earth actually being in rotary motion from the very first day. The emphasis of her point is that the days in which Creation took place were literal 24-hour Earth days.
The elder's preamble about Jewish or Greek words and what was created by God out of nothing, as opposed to what was made by God out of something, as further opposed to what was created by man - this especially has no relevance here. That whole creative session was God exclusively at work, and His methodology has no bearing on the issue.
The bottom line is: the sun is not that same light as was created on day 1. Bearing in mind the creation sequence of light, firmament, dry land, sun 'n moon, vegetable and animal life and finally man - it would have been especially illogical to have created the sun prior to its own habitat, which is the firmament.

Mmmm, lots of good points, as have been made by others. I'll have to take notes. I immediately go to Revelation 21:23 where we see light is not dependant on the sun and moon: "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

I absolutely agree with you Miguel. Moreover, a pre-existing universe gives a good amount of support to a big-bang hence theistic evolution which is then stepping into very dangerous grounds. Bohr's approach is pure conjecture and in my opinion not bible based.

    I have a question please
What did Jesus mean in Matthew 18:18 when He said ; what's bind on earth is bound in heaven ?
As He was talking to Peter and referred to Himself as the Rock, did He mean that only Him can bind whats on earth and be bound on heaven ? (Hence he is the only One who possess the keys of heaven )
    Thank you Pastors

A biblical name change always means a change in status, e.g. Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah, Jacob to Israel and Hosea to Joshua etc. Here is Matt 16:18 is no different. Simon is Peters original name, which means “to hear”. When Jesus wants to reveal something he says “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear”. After Peters prophetic confession, Jesus responded “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. The Father being that Rock (Deuteronomy 32:18, 30, 31) of revelation, the God who reveals all (Dan 2:22). Upon this Rock (the revelation “you are the Christ, Son of the Living God”) the Messiah will built his congregation.
The Aramaic name the Messiah chose for Simon was Cephas (Rock) which is the short form of the same name of the High Priest Caiaphas (Rock), the choice of the name given to Simon by the Messiah is no minor coincidence. As I said above the name change was to a change of status, Cephas was given the Keys to the Kingdom, to teach and make judgements on legal rulings, taking on the function of the priesthood: (Deuteronomy 33:10 “He (Priest) teaches your precepts to Jacob and your law to Israel. He offers incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar”.) which was going to be stripped from Caiaphas the High Priest, see the parable of the vineyard 21:33-41……..verse 43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people (the apostles and disciples) who will produce its fruit"…….verse 45 'When the chief priests (Caiaphas) and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them".
To bind and to loose is a Hebrew idiom that means to prohibit and to permit. In other words Peter and the apostle were given permission to make halaka.

03:47 - The actual answer to the first question is actually a Theological one, and it is that people who engage in, especially deadly violence against God’s People, i.e. Pharaoh vs. Israel and Saul vs. Samuel, are engaged in War against God Himself...and so, in such warring/warlike, God can act in whatever way necessary to protect His threatened people, and such life vs. death issues, it warrants Him even using deadly intervention to put that threat away....And so, God instead chose to resort to mere deception, i.e. not telling Pharaoh/Saul the whole truth, for the actual good of these belligerents....And indeed, when, in Pharaoh’s case, that simple solution using (not-the whole-truth) deception did not work, God instead had to pour out 10 devastating plagues on Egypt which included the death of many Egyptians, in order to have His people protected/delivered... I am sure in retrospect, Pharaoh would have much rather going along with that initial deception solution....
God indeed does not lie...but for people’s own good, especially wicked people, He does not tell them the whole truth...and if God has a “greater good” circumstance that would be best effectuated by an outright falsehood, He actually allows Satan do unhinderedly do his lying work (e.g. 1 Kgs 22:13-28ff; Rev 9:1-12ff (cf. Isa 9:15) = God strategic creation of Islam with the descendants of Ishmael(+Esau))

We're all in this together. Give AT LEAST the benefit of the doubt with others. Our purpose is to love and reconcile not to contempt and slander. Be patient for not any ONE of us have the PERFECT answer for every single question. We can just do our best and cooperate with the Holy Spirit.
