- This was a big panel with much of the cast from Star Trek: The Next Generation including Patrick Stewart "Captain Jean-Luc Picard", Brent Spiner "Data", Gates McFadden "Doctor Beverly Crusher" LeVar Burton "Geordi La Forge", Marina Sirtis "Deanna Troi", Michael Dorn "Worf", Denise Crosby "Tasha Yar", and John de Lancie "Q". The panel was in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the premier of STTNG. Aside from being a large panel, it was different since there was no moderator. They took the stage and just went with it!

The look on Denise’s face when Michael talks about appreciating your first big gig around the 38 minute mark lol
I absolutely love these!
me too. 👍🖖
39:13 “If you would come to the edge of the stage I can help you with that 🥴” lmao
Gates McFadden is gorgeous!
My goodness - Marina was quite full of herself. I've watched other ST TNG panels and she is the same. Very gabby and seeks attention. I would have loved to hear more from Brent, LeVar, and John. I'm also glad Gates spoke up toward the end and called Marina out on her comments about American actors.
In an international setting, many people are eager to hear us saying "my nationality is better than your nationality" and this is REGARDLESS of what we're saying.
I advise you, on our way to become one united human race, to be a little less eager to take offence when none was intended.
And I'm saying this after many years of working in consulting for international firms, where the project team would be as diversified as the Enterprise's crew.
O yes, she probably is one of the most annoying and irritating „humans“, her egotism is only surpassed by her self-centered eccentricity and ruthless behaviors, menopausal, alcoholic or otherwise. She even outclasses Bill Shatner‘s huge ego, but he is at least charming….what a disappointment she had become, sad.
@@simondan3828 begone with your satanic homogonized communism.
She wasn't specifically talking about American actors or all actors. What she said has merit, as with what Gates said; Brent understood this. How did you not? Or were you listening to be offended??
She's the best part of this panel, I laughed so hard when she verbally destroyed that weird woman who ruined her kids life with her star trek obsession
Bit of friction between Gates and Marina it felt.
Oh neat I was there.
Might've been meaningless but if I had the chance. I would've asked the panel to say "shut up wesley" in character.
Why no Frakes?
Wow. Marina Sirtis. Was she drunk or something? Watch the troubled ending again but watch Gate's and Brent's facial reactions. You can see when Gates gets pissed off every time. Even better: Brent's reactions. He's paying attention and on to a potential problem they were having there. Also, can't help but wonder if the "being professional" speech he made to new actors was actually directed at Marina.
Watch other Marina panels, she's not drunk she's just madder than a box of frogs.
They all love each other but they call her Meana instead of Marina.
Marina is that kind of English person we call 'gobby'. From the start I found her an uncomfortable mixture of amusing and annoying.
I do like the way Brent and Gates suggested Patrick say something
I was debating whether to watch it or not because marina was there, she makes me cringe. I just skipped half the time when ever she started speaking.
15:07 Gotta have the dog whistle for the cult.
I'm not sure what you mean by this. DeLancie is definitely not a Trump fan. Or did you mean you were offended that he's *not* a fan of Trump?
Gates McFadden as The Dancing Doctor, Beverly Crusher
So hard to believe how many years passed. I remember when at cons people wore shirts like classic trek who needs a new generation shirts. That died out by season 2
The ugly nerds making ugly comments at the start are really something.
Doesn't Marina Sirtis mic have a remote off switch? She is awful
She's likes the attention doesn't she 😂😂
Denise Crosby as Tasha Yar
1:24:14 Marina was right . They are given a part, a script directed and paid. Some care some don't.How many of them were avid fans of Star Trek before they got the part? Stewart made a good point and he is right, they do disappont because we forget the actors are not the characters we know with their history or world views. Marina is far from the gentle soul her character was, jarringly so, disappontingly so. I can't equate the two, but it shows what a great actress she is. Kate Mulgrew was the biggest disappointment for me, although not as much as a shock as Marina. Janeway certainly had some flaws mirroed in Mulgrew.
Levar Burton and Sir Patrick Stewart
Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi
I liked it up to the Trump bashing part. It didn't have to be in there. Marina made me sick with her reaction. Disgusting. Turned it off right after that. Never watching Discovery or Picard. Hollywood ruined it - like everything else. A bunch of ignorant 'elitists'
I agree. These are the same people who accuse Trump of stoking division and hate.
Discovery is class, you should watch it. You dont have to agree with someones views to.appreciate their art.
I agree. Leave it to snobs to prefer their war criminals be eloquent black men or senile old perverts.
@@royeaston6067 that isn't art. It is literal activist propoganda. There's a line.
Agreed Phil. I turned it off immediately after their religious cult nonsense.
15:34 Joe Biden started giving a speech in the middle of the convention
Good grief, some idiot parent brought their crying baby to a Star Trek convention.
Damn I really wish you could still visibly dislike youtube comments.
