you all probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Lincoln Trent I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Sounds like the real thing. As fan of qotsa,i thought it was the real qotsa sound pasted on the clip. Only some little diffrences gives a hint it isn't the real thing. Awsome job!
Have you heard the Alice in Chains tribute band called Facelift ..they've got a young singer called Brendan Mejers ? ..holy crap I' ve been a massive fan of QTSA & Alice for 30+ yrs & that Facelift were like going back to 1991..I don't normally like tribute bands & was shocked...I'd Dec to & see the Avon Ladies..their name is very amusing to us British folks too😂😂
How the hell have I not heard of these guys….? That set was amazing, so on-point and such an excellent rendition of all the songs, especially starting with Regular John and finishing with Songs for the Dead. Amazing.
Haha..what more could a girl want ..Avon ladies & QTSA 😈😈..this is ace !That first track Regular John is probably responsible.for about 80% of the problems I've had with my neck for the last 30 yrs...head hangings a maniac from the ages of 15-55 does does that..lol..x
Holy crap man I was like ok this is pretty cool and then you guys started playing 3's and 7's and you just blew me away. What a tight band! And superb drumming my good man.
You guys are absolutely incredible! My buddies and I had a 3 piece band for a period of time and covered about a half dozen or so QOTSA songs (among others). I thought we sounded pretty good. Then I saw this. I am truly blown away by how faithful your renditions are. Fantastic!
Wow, voice just like Josh's!! Amazing! band is great aswell but that's the part that gives away a bit that it's a cover, but it's like really minor details! Still pretty awesome, congrats
This is fucking fantastic. You guys absolutely nailed the sound! I'd love to play with a band like yours (52:18 - you guys smacked that riff so hard it knocked me out of my chair)
Hi Dave I played guitar right of stage. Dirt is from the orange AD-30 (mostly channel 1 into a cab loaded with 2x12” vintage greenbacks). I switched to higher gain channel 2 for the last tune. The (more relevant) pedals I used were: - Ulbrick Megalogon for boost/solos. Aussie pedal - it’s great and adds a cutting sound. Used this in a number of spots but most obviously in the “Evil” solos. - Foxrox Octron v1 for fat octaves (eg, Evil intro). V1 sounds better than the later v3 which I also own. - Pog 2 for high octaves (eg, end of evil/slide part for ocean and various other things) - Ehx Small Clone nano - for Go With the Flow. I like the nano’s more metallic cutting sound for this vs the original. All my guitars are loaded with Lollars (El Rayo in the 335-esque Ibanez, Wide Range in the ‘72 Tele and Vintage T’s in the thinline used for Little Sister). Thanks for checking it out!
Yeah, they're one of those annoying bands where you watch and think "wow the X player is amazing", then the drummer smashes it, then Every. Other. Person. does the same. All incredible, epic sound, you obviously love the band. Making me re-think trying a queens cover band. Would be interested in the short-scale bass setup though
Thanks for the feedback! I'm pretty green when it comes to mixing, I have 0 formal training in production (0 formal training in drumming too actually) so I just figured it out, I've certainly gotten a bit better at mixing though!
Sounds great. But I think your bass player can do a lot better to copy Oliveris basslines though. You are a tribute band after all, not just some covers band doing a QOTSA song. I can only say that because Ive spent the time learning most of Oliveris work with the band and hes clever, not repetitive. Ok Im done anyway. You guys rock.
@@superfuntimehappy Nah it was probably not a very nice comment when these guys sound unreal and the bassist is playing a fantastic show and looks awesome. I simply meant the intricacies of Nicks playing are noticably missing from the early songs. And songs like Little Sister, while not Nick, also have many little embellishments which arent played here. But seriously, they're a really good band. The crowd does them a disservice by not realising how good they are.
Playing the evil has landed is just brave. nothing less. nicely done

This is goddamn amazing
Nice!! I’d come see this for sure!
tangled up in plaid was amazing
Damn, this sounds amazing!
QOTSA loves to use so many different tunings, you need about three guitars to play live, or pick your set list carefully.👍🏻
So sad I missed it. Sounding great.
TOP!
Fuckin hell this shit is tight
best lineup.
Awesome
Amazing!!!
Ok... saw Queens tribute and I had to check it out and holy shit! Y'all sound amazing!

Nice ❤❤❤ Gigs in Europe?
Perth, Australia only
Btw the crowd should be more exited with what they are witnessing. Cmon people
I saw this on my feed and was curious. I watched the whole thing. I'd love to know what you have on your pedalboards. I hope it isn't a secret.

Thanks for answering Aiden! The video is excellent, which is why I kept watching.
Haha cool

This sounds better than some of the QOSTA shows I've been to.
This is awesome but the drums can use a little better mastering.. that hi hat is way too boosted in the Hi Freq.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm pretty green when it comes to mixing, I have 0 formal training in production (0 formal training in drumming too actually) so I just figured it out, I've certainly gotten a bit better at mixing though!
@@rloasby it's so weird we think that "bright" sounds automatically good but sometimes in the mix it's not gonna sound good hahahaha
Sounds great.
