Had the game released like this Bethesda would have been torn to shreds over the game looking worse then a lot of Xbox 360 games. Also most console players are playing on 40+ inch 4k tvs this would look absolutely atrocious on a screen that size given how bad it looks here even on a phone screen or monitor.
1) Thank God for Bethesda and its love to both modding and consoles, 2) Series S is a little beast, there are 1000€ PCs/handhelds out there struggling to run it at 60, let alone 100+ FPS, 3) Starfield was already addicting but with mods it has become truly insane, tons of great content for free.

By the way no idea why Fuzion is using the mod that lowers resolution, I am using the one that reduces shadow quality (which I don't really notice the difference tbh) and Crowd Reducer and it plays at 900p-upscaled to-1440p/60 FPS. Looks and plays great.

This is a uncapped fps mod not 60fps mod it doesn't lower resolution. If you install the no god rays mod and no grass mod it will work pretty good. Do not install the series s 60fps optimisation mod it lowers the res really low and doesn't improve fps in the cities anyway and outside of cities it's pretty good. Remember it's a cpu issue so lowering res will not help your just making it look worst for no reason.
People clearly aren't watching this on a TV, it's an absolute blurry mess looking like a ps1 game... literally gave me a headache and had to stop watching
With my 144hz monitor it is an incredible improvement! I didn't even have to install any other mods, so no sacrifice in terms of graphics. The game varies from 30 to 60 fps, but it is definitely smoother and sharper than the original. I also did some tests going to the most crowded cities like New Atlantis and Neon, no problems, no decrease in the crowd of people, just some very slight frame drop ( which was also present in the original 30 FPS version ). If you don't have a serious 144 hz gaming monitor this mod will definitely give you problems.
I feel like bethesda and Microsoft just locked it at 30fps and thought, we told you it’s gonna be like this, instead of running the risk of making it higher and problems might arise, giving how clunky this game engine is already

He's using the performance tweaks for series s mod which I set the resolution to 720p. The Xbox and TV upscaled it to whatever display res he's using. I'd guess probably 1440p as it looks blurry when set to 4K for me.

The screen tearing in interiors is on another level. Horrendous unfortunately as I'd love to play it at a higher frame rate. Hopefully this will get a patch to lower the tearing at least. Also not sure but it seems like when using the mod that removes screen filters, it seems to run a little better. 40oish frames around akila. Interiors seem to run at or close to 60 but again, that poxy tearing....
The trees looks like paper, the water looks like plastic, the stars are just drawn balls in the sky, the buildings loads in your face, the floor textures looks like your playing an X360 game but people here: "Modders are better than Bethesda hur duuuur. 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪"
.ini file mods (like Uncap FPS and the ones removing grass/god rays etc) DON'T remove achievements as long as you follow these instructions: 1) Install/Enable mods 2) Close the game 3) Open the game 4) Disable the mods 5) Load your save .ini mods are set when the game opens - as long as you never close Starfield using Quick Resume, the .ini settings will actually remain active until the next time you close the game, but since the mods are all "disabled" on the mod list, the game thinks you have zero mods and thus will allow achievements.

I wasn't sure whether or not it had been lowered, as I figured that it could just be that it wasn't reconstructed anymore, or that it looked generally worse image quality-wise due to all mods downgrading it.

The game is vastly graphically not good anymore. Everything is decreased dramatically for this to be achieved. Note/update: the performance tweaks mod (for Xbox Series S) actually changes the resolution to 720p instead of 900p.
The regular Performance Tweaks version changes it to 1080p.

Sadly the mods disable achievements
