  • Over 30 years ago, a jury convicted Pamela Smart of encouraging her lover, who was a high school student, to shoot and kill her husband. Now, for the first time, Smart has admitted wrongdoing, hoping it will help get her released from her life sentence.

Oh now after 30-years you have admitted and regrets having your husband killed. Stop the nonsense.

It is so easy to be simplistic and cynical on these comments. 34 years...whatever she was or did....think about it....34 years....she has served a lot of time...she could very well have come to admit some things after 34 years in prison...Yes, she did a heinous thing and she has served 34 years.

@@dmichael100 and? no one cares how she feels 😐. how do u think her husbad felt when he was shot and left to die by the person he thought cared about him? she could've gotten a divorce and moved on with her life. her husband ain't getting his life back, so why should she? she's only "apologizing" cuz she doesn't wanna be in jail

@@kiarraaa The sheer stupidity of the motive of this crime points to her being pathology immature at the time. She supposedly told Flynn and others she would "lose everything" in a divorce. But what was there to lose? They had been married less than ONE YEAR. Not much was acquired. She supposedly feared a judge might give Greg custody of the dog but that was irrational. It was Greg's gift to HER so she would have gotten Halen. She had her own car. She had a job that paid well. She is said to have feared the loss of the condo and some furniture. So what? She could have slept at a friend or relative's house until she found a place to rent herself. It is bizarre that anyone would risk life and freedom over stakes so low.
No, we can't resurrect the dead. But society need not sink to the level of its worst criminals. It can allow for growth and change and release those no longer dangerous -- and Pam is no longer dangerous..

I was in prison in Maine at the Thompson Prison, known as "Tommy Town", and met all three of the guys involved with this case, Billy Flynn, Pete Randall, and J.R. Lattime. They were all shipped from the prison in New Hampshire for their protection. I guess they were having a difficult time in the New Hampshire prison system. They all acted as though they were better than everyone else, especially Billy Flynn, but they also didn't cause any waves. Billy Flynn had a lot of women writing to him while he was in prison, and I remember one woman sending him an electric guitar. In Thomaston Prison you were allowed to have one musical instrument in your cell. They also had a music room where you could go and play your instrument. All three of them are now back on the streets, Billy was released on parole in 2015. He now lives in Maine with his wife. Lattime was released on parole in 2005, and Randall was released on parole in 2015. Pamela Smart is a narcissist and will never get out of prison unless one day she gets really old and becomes a burden on the state for medical reasons. Even though Pamela Smart instigated this whole charade, don't forget that Pete Randall held down Gregory Smart while Billy Flynn shot him in the head. Lattime, well, he was just a nerdy follower who followed the wrong guys and paid for it.

Really appreciate this update and behind the scenes info. I'm thinking Smart has been a "pill" in her time behind bars and no doubt has left damage in prison as well. I believe she will never be free unless she is an invalid. Hope you are doing better in your days since your Thompson Times! Salute👋

She had sex with her students, manipulated them into killing her innocent husband then blamed them ALL FOR SOME PROPERTY!!!! That’s what prison is for. Accept your punishment for life…bc you punished your husband to death for eternity!

That boy wasn't her son. He was her student. That was her first bad thing she did, violatkng that child. No doubt anyone can be rehabilitated BUT someone who took 30 YEARS to kinda admit to the killing of her husband, after KNOWING deep down inside her heart that she's guilty says a lot about this woman. She's starting to see that her chances of getting out with any type of quality time left is fleeting. I hope she works on herself and is released eventually.

@@AlfredoBodega Dept of Prisons doesn't allow gold earrings. Most allow none. Theft and that chain could be used to commit violence. Nor do any prisons allow street clothes, only uniforms. There are rules about how they dress. Rules for everything. My son and daughter both work for Dept of Corrections. Son stands in a guard tower with a rifle. Rarely are interviews allowed either. This is an op. Part of "Women, especially teachers Are Evil" There are many cases of teachers being inappropriate with young boys the last couple decades. I am Pam's age. I watched her trial on tv and all 3 movies; as a young housewife myself. There are too many sketchy, fake things about the trial. Moving inmates is a good way to hide the fact that she isn't really in prison. Also, she has altered her hair color, its lighter; not allowed. They need to know exactly who they have in custody. The more I think, the more inconsistencies I find. Hahaha! She is a faker. Most big, sensational stories are. Just like the re-emerged Amanda Knox. Its to keep us divided. Together, with love, in peace, wishing the best for each other, no fighting; WE WIN! The powers in charge can't have that. So, big lies are created to nudge us. OJ Simpson's trial was only to introduce DNA to the public. Juries were suspicious prior to that. You can tell it was fake by the division it caused. Both sides certain they are right. Yet, both could be. Impossible. So, division and a nudge it is. Look at things from the side, it helps. Keep an open mind. And peace to you, my friend!

I'm not the same person I was 30 yrs ago. Not even . I can't imagine how a woman could suggest getting rid of her husband would solve any problems, but to get my son to do this ? And then he go out and recruit 3 others to help? How could that be? Birds of a feather flock together! If these 4 men can be rehabilitated then she can as well. However, it took her yrs to say...
" I came up with the idea " What was she gaining from that? Fess up ... there is no one to hide from except yourself.
