So far I am very pleased with my sx 600, as it mirrors a lot of other functions on Yamaha keyboards. When you get the opportunity, please make another in-depth video about the other sx 600 functions. Here value for money can't be said as both are different in operation n functions. If you have budget for 600 you can go for it. If for 700 then go with it. I personally played 700. After seeing this video of Jeremy I can say 700 is much much better than 600 in terms of money n functions. 600 is a beginner Arranger Workstation. 700 is for both beginning, intermediate and advanced. Also for big stage gigs.
I considered getting an arranger, but chose, instead, a MODX6+ since I think I just get more out of Ableton and having a synthesizer to create my own sounds patches. But these arrangers sure are attractive.
Jeremy, I watched all your PSR SX Videos, and you as a piano teacher, I thought you will once comment about Yamahas SX built in Lesson/Guide: „Follow Lights, Any Key, Karao-Key, Your Tempo“. Are those functions good/useful to learn to play? Please show them to us and review that.Thanks.

I know it would be an extra step for you, but if you could give an actual location of the buttons you’re referring to it would help me a lot. I know you offer paid courses. Are they a little more descriptive? If so I’ll purchase the 600 course. Transitioning from a 910 where I knew where the buttons were located. Staying away from touch screens, which don’t do me much good! (LOL) Thanks for all your videos!

Thanks for your tutorials, an excellent instrument, I might purchase one for taking out. The only gripe I’ve got, the screen could have been a bit larger. Anyway I’ve got a stunning Genos at home.
Nord stage 3 with 73 keys. Easy to use, has powerful sounds, expandable, very sturdy and durable. It isn't powerful as a Korg Kronos or a Montage, but it is almost a knob per function. This is critical to me. I won't pay a lot of money to buy an awesome keyboard to spend hours just browsing through the menus to edit a sound. I prefer doing this with a VST. And my pick in arrangers would be an PSR SX900, because in my country Yamaha is more known and it seems to be easier to use than a PA1000
The kind of player that likes to play with more sophisticated styles Or the person starting to play professionally Or a enthusiast who likes to edit sounds and explore the keyboard possibilities Or someone upgrading from their PSR E, wanting better sounds while still knowing how to operate the basics of the keyboard
Hi Jeremy, I just bought this new SX600, and I see that it seems to set the default split point for sound and style at the C4. Would you please tell me how to set and save the default split point at the F#3 note? I can set it, but I don't know how to save it. Thanks in advance!
Hi. I have question regarding Yamaha PSR SX600. I plugged my USB containing .mp3 and m4a into Yamaha PSR SX600. Unfortunately, none of both format were displayed in the PSR SX600 screen. Hence, i cannot play any audio from my USB. Do you know why?

That is just the default settings. There isn't anything to worry about.
