How to setup GE Universal Remote Control to TV

Although, I programmed this remote & used it within the last year, it's not working at all now. 😢 Yesterday, after I inserted brand new AA batteries, it was still dead. In fact, NONE of the lights (including LED, power button, and keypad) would function at ALL! Therefore, I couldn't check it, program it, or use it at all. After spending several hours reading the manuals (my hard copy and on line), and searching the web & UA-cam for answers, I still have no answers or no more ways to troubleshoot. I'm a retired disabled teacher stuck at home and cannot afford a replacement remote. Shoot my cheap, basic, ancient remotes all worked for over a decade. The batteries are brand new and yes, I tried them in another device to be sure! SOS 🆘! I appreciate your time and quick response, Sir. Thanks! 😊

Roku would need to be set up under Cable some reason. I got it to work with a Roku box as cable at least.
