I’ve never played righteous fire and I’ve played for the last ten leagues but for some reason I still love tuning in and hearing your take, let’s just say it’s been a journey 😆
Regarding the warcry automation issue, because the support gem is something you toggle on (and the toggling is instant), you can still technically use it as a support that makes warcry instant, just remember to toggle it back off after if you want to control when you use it.

I am thinking going for the inquisitor RF this league and I have been thinking of many having a way to "automate" the damage increase through Indigon. Not sure at all if it will work at all but I guess there is only one way to know for sure and it is to try it out :)
I will definitely starts with your inquisitor guide to get things up and running while I look at options. Short version is that since Indigon increase damage based on mana spent recently, I am thinking of automating stuff like curses and / war cries to spent mana at all time, meaning less buttons to press. I only need to have enough mana to cover for the extra cost but your videos seems to have enough for that. Since that helmet is late in mapping, I have time to think things over.

its more like a community college, for casuals. you copy a build, get to maps, die in yellow maps, and then stop playing, and you learned nothing, but you can say you played the game and went to the community college.

last time i tried to copy onemanalefts build and the pricing of what he had was so far off like he said 20c-2div ended up being 250div-450div so yerh no thx to retry that exprince

What is the opinion on using bodyswap + desecrate instead of firetrap in the RF builds an lean a bit more into life scaling?

They're both Marauders, so you can switch between them for the cost of a few orbs of regret. Jugg is my favourite, but I'm gonna give Chieftain a try for early game progression.

would your chieftan RF build work well in delve around 300-400 depth?
This might be a dumb question but why not use arctic armour since you are technically stationary anyway on chief and that would reduce fire damage taken?
you can now run rf on every character with just 1 new gem linked to it and kaoms binding. what do you think will it be popular? ( automation + rf + kaoms binding and any form of burn removal -> rf will automatically be recasted after dispell burn and you are imun to burn dmg for 4 seconds)
I first started watching you I wanted to play AAR builds in Grim Dawn.
I know Righteous Fire is your thing here, but thiught it would be cool to see a build on something similar to AAR, maybe Crackling Lance, or Scorching Ray.

I'm planning on essence farming for currency this league. The new changes mean that spamming whites isn't an option. How does RF feel with essence monsters at high tiers? Is inquis a better choice for essence?

I know this question sounds little off topic but do you have any recommendation for end game uber bossing builds from chieftain variants? As you said on the video RF is still good for starter but worried about t17 and uber bossing, it would be a good idea to make currency with RF build early game and swap to something else for late game. thing is I can't really find any chieftain build with high dps and I'm too lazy to create another char and do act 1~10 again and leveling as well
on on the fence about running rf again since it seems more boss heavy league. maybe try a different build explosive trap trickster might be a top choice
I won't league start RF this time around nor do I plan to reroll into it but watching this video has become such a ritual before the league start that I just have to know what is going on with RF.

If youre not going for real gigachad content, AKA ubers. Rf is fine. Did some cooking in POB after tonights stream, and you can with a resonable investment reach around 4,5 mil boss dps. No mageblood or adorned required. Can go a bit higher if you sacrifice your defiance of destiny for a dot multi amulet

I am going to follow you this league with RF, you should look at the Connors mana stacker as if we can build out 35M DPS for just RF thats life changing lol....

The explode for 1/10th of hp to 5% ignite is the Most hilarious nerf ive ever seen. That's like going from 250Mph to a slow crawl.

What if you scale a different spell other than fire trap? Like a divine ire the new one that was buffed or some other skill and have RF as the aoe map clear. Nothing stuck out as a single target spell to use with it with all the new gems?
The reason why fire trap is used is because of the inherent synergy between the two (that and the buffs that made it's burn extremely potent). Fire trap is largely burn (not ignite) focused, meaning it mostly scales with the exact same modifiers as RF without any need to spec into any modifier that doesn't benefit both; the only stats that benefits only one of the two skills are eHP (that benefits RF) and +gem level (that benefits fire trap).
@@sinteleon yeah the old rf worked well but the new one doesn't gain dmg from levels or a ton from burning damage. Wouldn't there be another skill that scales higher like armageddon brand transfigured or something
@@MNtoCali what do you mean doesn't gain a ton from burning damage, that hasn't changed. The only thing changed is the base damage being more from eHP than from levels.

I apologize for the noob question, but has the regular RF gem returned or has it been completely removed from the game, leaving only the transfigured RF gems?
They changed old RF so it now scales off more Hp/ES but no more flat damage. So old RF is gone for now, we have 2 Variants. The current and the transfigured (mana version)

Not gonna make the same mistake again and play something I think is going to be good. This time I'm sticking with Chieftain RF that I KNOW is going to be good.
I am allergic to uber content so seeing how this is another speed-mapping league that then becomes a craft-a-thon (assuming gravyard crafting is no combat), seems like chieftain is gonna be my my man this time around.
