I think a lot of people like the layout and it would be nice to have more discussion and show what they are like on plane at 25 -30 mph. Without the windscreen and sitting in the back I hear they spray the passengers pretty good. Chilly on a fall salmon run.
I own a 2472 MV and you can see it on youtube "Seaark 2472 Transformation". It is wet and rough with my center console. I'm either about to sell the boat or take the center console out and put this windshield on it. Very rough, very wet with any light chop unfortunately. But otherwise I love the boat.
Waiting on more information on a new fuel tank and live well options. I'm going to postpone my order untill I here. Thanks Please let me know more asap!!
I had the 1660 MV with 3cyl 40hp tiller Yamaha. Best boat I ever owned. Until ! I sold it and bought a WarEagle ! T rail and built every bit as stout as SeaArk. WArEagle more bang for the Buck !!
I had a 2072 with a 115/80 jet and the forward windshield. Also had flotation pods on the back. Having the forward windshield is great for warmth but you better put a spinal surgeon on retainer if you take it in rough water. I had to drive 8 miles in real rough water to get back to the ramp after the weather changed. My back was destroyed after that. Also, the ergonomics of the steering wheel was a major problem for me. It was way too low and not adjustable. So must have items are spring-ride front seats and a tilt steering wheel. I sold the boat because of these 2 problems. Wish I had kept it and just replaced the seats and steering wheel.
Did it keep you dry? I own a 2472 MV and omg are you not joking about it being rough (and wet). I'm hoping to get a windshield to try and convince myself not to sell this boat because of the exact reasons you said.

That is the same as what Melton Hill Bill got! I recorded it the day it was delivered and have fished on it a couple times. Very nice setup!
