- 18 years ago a slight lapse in concentration crushed Pascale's dreams of surfing. With the help of a family friend and a roll of duct tape; she can now call herself a surfer.

The kid is the greatest surfer of all time, and it will be difficult to beat him down from that spot. Not for his surfing skill, which I could never judge, but for his sheer, lightning-bright, humanity. It is a humbling privilege to share this planet with him.

Tyron, you are a beautiful person who loves and embraces others! Bless you! I love what you did for Pascale! It should be an eye-opener for the rest of us to stick our necks out their for others. Pascal is a truly wonderful woman. Tyron is a remarkable, inspirational young man. Why can't we all be a little more like these two incredible people, from two different generations. This has inspired me to do something worth while in 2016.
Her smile says everything about just how much being out there means to here. Just inspirational - amazing video guys, and credit to everyone involved.

This is an awesome video, and kudos to the surfer for taking her out. :) Surfing without any additional weight takes a huge amount of skill from pretty much every body system, so surfing with an adult on your back would be pretty damn hard I would imagine! :)

I think the last scene of her in this video is in a harness. If he wasn´t strong enough to support her he wouldn´t have been able to walk or even get out there on the board. But clearly they both knew the risk.

As a surfer, I'm not sure the harnesses would be safer than the duct tape. The beauty of the duct tape is that she is pretty much using his muscles. It seems like the harness would be less secure, IMHO.
Some 18 years ago, Pascale was reportedly left paralyzed from a car accident that injured her spinal cord. WIth the help of a friend her dream of surfing eventually came true.
