AI is an interesting one from a musical point of view. I have used AI vocal separators to grab a vocal stab for use in a remix, for example, and I’ve also used AI text to speech readers for a similar effect. I then spend a long time working with these samples to repitch, stretch, enhance or change timings of the words to make them fit the music I’ve created. I feel that I therefore use AI as a tool to enhance my creative process. It’s not easy to make an AI text reader sound like they’re rapping to a beat, for example! Not trying to big myself up (too much!) here, but just that I feel there’s a place for AI in creativity, but I definitely hear your concerns.
Who was the guest of the year? Best story of last year was Nigel talking about the moped story, I literally died laughing. And I can teach olly to both swim and ski but not in the same visit
I think you started too high with the Swap Shop - could have had loads of fun with bolts becoming t-shirts and then components - but we are at almost £100 already...
@@TheRideCompanion just means I have to raid the box of bits I bought but have never used and might be worth over £100 at retail now.. though is it wrong that I am more interested in good pants than some signatures?
Let me know if you need any AI insight - currently working on a product which helps businesses adopt it in a safe way (don't worry you are not the target demographic 😁) - at the end of the day you just had to think about it as a statistical model - regardless of what you are working on, whether it is a script or removing dust in PS - the model just makes a guess at what the next thing to do is, that might be the next word in a sentence or it might be changing a pixel colour - but it is all just guessing based on previous examples it has trained on. And if you are using an API key for your LLM - you are not training the model. It is only the 'free' options which do that.
The Grammarly adverts give me the creeps, people in an office using it to completely re write emails to each-other. who's really working there? people or Ai's? No joke, grammarly ad just appeared like 30s after I wrote this.
V enjoyable listening thanks chaps.
