Alpine got what they deserve. They sacked Prost and Budkowski and wanted to send Fernando Alonso to WEC for 2024. Now they're stuck with a mediocre french driver until 2024 and without their current best driver and also without one of the future F1 stars. Good luck with Mojon and his mediocre skills next year, and if you add the current 2 seasons long underperforming Daniel Ricciardo to the formula you got a team that is not gonna finish in the top5 despite having the car to do it
Alpine's massive support for Ocon is still extremely baffling to me as ocon is still a loan driver from the Mercedes academy whilst piastri was entirely a home grown talent. But hey, french team needs french drivers... Edit: i wouldn't be surprised if lance stroll was the catalyst for this entire mess. Hear me out. 1.French gp, lance brake checks vettel on the final lap of the race so he wouldn't get passed. 2.Vettel had already been tinkering with the retirement idea and spending time with his family. 3.vettel rightfully felt that was dangerous and a risk to both driver's safety but behind the scenes politics of Lawrence claiming his kid did nothing wrong (there's history of just that) 4. That was the final straw for an already pondering vettel, risking his life for back marker team and just wasn't worth it when he could be with his own kids... Retires and That fully opens up the seat for this silly stuff to go down.
That's a very interesting theory and I don't want to discredit it, but I think the announcement came as a byproduct of the way Alpine treated Fernando. Vettel was pressured into making a decision and that was the trigger. I'm not saying Stroll didn't make the decision easier but I wanted to add this extra bit of context
@@RaianF1 oh for sure Alonso wasn't happy there, that's pretty on point. But i also think that, without vett stepping down, then this wouldn't have happened the way it did as Alo would have had to just bit his tongue and take the bs spoonfuls at a time till something popped up or he retired.
Nice to know you're back in the business. This video is yet another prove that Alonso is super toxic. He couldn't just leave Alpine, he wanted to rub in their faces our a bunch of clowns that team is (as if the rest of the world didn't know).
@@RaianF1 Exactly. Now Piastri was free to do whatever he wants! If anyone's toxic is the head management of Alpine, making a driver announcement without even asking the driver...
@@RaianF1 Well, he didn't need to show the world that Alpine is a shitshow. Could've give his old team a 5-minute notice before dropping the bomb in Twitter he had already move to another team. Still help Piastri without the extra salt. He didn't owe any favors to Alpine, but he chose to make them look like the asses they are.
Raian is back!
I have seen so many videos on this topic but none were as informative as yours man, mind blown!
Awww thanks man! Really appreciate it 🙂
Great explainer Raian. I hope to see more of your content.

Raian your videos are so incredible and detailed. Love your videos
Thank you man 😊
Really hope Aston get their shit together for Alonso, really admire the guy and hope to see him do well.
You and i both 🙌🏻
Raian!! Welcome back Jefe! 😊
Thanks dude 😎
Now I noticed that sweety outro with halo ce soundtrack "a walk on the woods". You're a man of culture as well

The car will be up there but the results won't, ocon can't set up a car and ricciarso should've left F1 last year. It'll be a fun trainwreck :D
Alpine should sign Gasly in 2024 or 2023(maybe,if Gasly terminate the AT contract)
Jaja Esteban Mojón, muy buena🤣🤣
Alpine should try to get gasly with the french Card.
Good stuff 👍
Thank you, Anthony

Ah yes, halo music
✊🏻😎
Exactly
Yes.
Hi raian how have you been alpine tryna take over Ferraris clown of 2022 team
Dude they want to win it all in a week and it's working

I think you saw it the other way around. All he did was piastri a favor

Alonso is toxic yes, but Alpine's management remind me of Ferrari strategists, the same stupidity..
