As for 6 hours till Miss Addict caught her first one of the day. Heck, we've all been there! I also played poker, and it's horrible when you have a bad day and loose a few $200-$800 in a few minutes. Guess flip side is the good days!!

This was at Clearlake in Northern California. This year we got a lot rain and the weather stayed cool until June which is unusual but good for us. Thank you.

They are all over because of the high water.
Can’t wait until they make the limit 5 fish a day and 25 fish a year. No body needs to be out on the water anywhere just catching and killing every damn fish they catch for as many days as they can fish. Crazy man

@@fishingaddict5638 I understand totally. And I apologize for coming off sounding rude or malicious, wasn’t my intent. I just feel that sometimes we as anglers need to be vigilante on knowing when something is sustainable or not, just because the law says one thing. Doesn’t mean that’s what is right, if the crappie fishery keeps being targeted and hammered the way it’s been the last few years, we won’t have a crappie fishery. Just staring the truth. I’ll be up there this weekend trying to find some big bass on beds, hopefully we will get into a few. Have a great day and take care

Wishing you great success as you grow your guide service. We fished CL last week on a day when bite was tough…just couldn’t find them. Managed three in the Keys and that was all. Looks like we should have tried the upper end of the lake. Where did you launch?
