Omg the hamster is adorable Here’s some tips to make her life even better: - If you do upgrade a cheap and easy enclosure would be a bin type cage (lots of tutorials on YT) -consider adding more bedding: robos love to burrow and your hamster will also love some ripped up pieces of tissue. -Thank you for doing research and not buying a tiny tiny petsmart cage Hope this helps some. Congrats on a new fluffy baby.
@Dominick Ramirez a 20 gallon is a little bit on the small size, the minimum square inches for dwarfs is 450 sq in, a 20 gallon is 360 sq in, a bin cage would be good but also a 40 gallon would be great
Put a sand bath at all times. If you find a corner that she pees in, place a sand bath there and she'll use half of it for bathing and half for litter. Hamster pee is what smells and you can easily toss it and replace the sand. It will cut down on the mess. When you clean her bedding, keep any clean bedding in there for the scent or your hamster will stress out and try not to clean it a ton unless you need to. Stress is a huge factor in why hamsters die early.
Sounds like the hamster ball is a bad idea, thanks for letting us know, we won’t use it. But anyway thanks for watching, should I have Tori (& Daisy) in more of my videos?⬇️
You may also want to invest in a slightly larger wheel! I know you got a robo but even the 6.5 can sometimes be a tad too small. A size up would ensure no back bending! Another few inches of bedding wouldn't hurt either, they really love it deep! 6 inches is the recommended minimum :) If she has room for a 40 the hamster would love the space and the NiteAngel enclosures are AMAZING, definitely check them out if she wants to upgrade at all!
@@siniestroelite2131 It doesn’t matter if it is small they still love to bury and look it up on UA-cam look up hamster wheel sizes in you’ll see an 8 inch will work a 6 inch is simply too small and can cause they’re back to bend same with a 4 inch
Hi Carson, I just finished watching your video and there are some things you might want to fix: 1. The water bottle - water bottles are not the best for hamsters since they collect a lot of bacteria. You could use it if you wash it thoroughly every day, and replace it once a month but I think you are better off with a water bowl. (Yes, you will need to wash it every day too, but you shouldn't need to replace it so often.) 2. The hamster ball - Hamster balls also aren't good for hamsters because hamsters can't really see through them that well and their paws could get stuck in the holes. 3. The tank - A 20-gallon long is fine for now, but as the hamster gets bigger it will need a minimum of 40 gallons. The hamster should have 450 square inches of floor space to run around. 4. Bedding - A hamster should have 6 inches of bedding on one side of the tank for burrowing. 5. The wheel - The wheel looks fine for now, but again, you will have to upgrade as the hamster gets bigger. Watch the hamster and make sure it's back doesn't bend while running on the wheel. If it does, buy a bigger wheel because a small one can cause damage to the hamster's back. That is all I noticed throughout the video. Also, make sure you feed the hamster salads as well as pellets. Don't feed the hamster every time you see the bowl empty because she will definitely have some food hidden in her burrows. Feed her every second-third day, depending on how much she eats. It is also always better to have a sand bath in the tank at all times. I understand that it isn't the best decoration but you could hide it in the little house you have in there. Don't forget to replace the chew toys every so often. Don't buy toys with artificial coloring! Besides that, I love your videos! You are the reason that I did research on my pets. I was one of those people that kept fish in a bowl and turtles in a plastic container. If it wasn't for you, all my pets would be suffering right now. Thank you!

Hey you guys started really good for being first time hamster owners and here are a few keys. #1 all hamsters should have a cage with over 450sq in of Open floor space with a verity of toys. #2 Hamsters r nocturnal so that’s why the other hamsters in the store were hiding/sleeping. #3 get more diffrent textured chews for her off of Amazon. #4 reward Daisy with a treat every once in a while. #5 get a lid because hamsters ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO ESCAPE!!! 😋😋
I just watched 9 of ur vids in a row btw I love this Chanel been watching for a while I just now realized I wasn’t sub but I did today I also ringed the bell
Hi I Have 2 hamsters and this if what I've found in regards to requirements. Not trying to come off as a no it all or anything, this is just my personal research. Hamsters need at least 6 inches of bedding to burrow, for a robo a 6 inch wheel or bigger ( I think you got a 6 inch just make sure the back doesn't bend), they heavily benefit from a sand bath (childrens playsand at lowes is 5 bucks for a huge bag, just bake it)The cage is unfortunately too small. Hamsters need at LEAST 450sq inches of floor space. So a 40 gallon is the smallest tank you can use. The bigger the better honestly!
Hey y’all I just got a robo too and honestly you killed her setup the only thing I would suggest is to put 6 inches off bedding on there and if she’s skidish take toilet paper rip it up and rub it in between your h da to get your scent on her.It worked so well with mine and once there tamed robos ate literally the best hamsters no hate just some tips!!!
I hope you can upgrade her enclosure to at least a 40-gallon breeder... For all hamster species, the minimum is 450 square inches, and the recommended is 650. I recommend getting a bin cage. Also, robos LOVE sand, and having a sand bath in the enclosure is absolutely necessary! ROBOS ARE FROM THE DESERT. These shy little creatures originated in the deserts of Mongolia, China, and Russia. So PLEASE think about it!
I love your channel a lot but here is some tips for your hamster care: - Since this is a 20gallon aquarium, it is under the bare minimum which is a 40 gallon. But if you want cheaper options, there are bin cages which is around 20 dollars. (They are very small but they need a large cage) Bare minimum: 450sq inches - Add more bedding. Add at least 6 inches of bedding so that they can burrow and not only dig. Not hating here! Just some advice! :)
Great video thanks for doing your research I know you said your not going to use the ball and I recommend putting a sand bath is at all times, but it your choice I also advise you to buy a bigger and taller cage and put at least 6 inches of bedding! Good job so far! Congrats on the new family member!
Hamsters should always have a sand bath at all times ESPECIALLY robos bc they come from a very sandy area if u need more tips pls watch Victoria Rachel
She’s so cute. But they will need a sand bath all times especially because robos come from Sandy deserts , 40 gallon tank/ bin cage and I wouldn’t recommend using a ball since the ventilation isn’t the best and their feet can get stuck or can swell up.
@@jasminepenaloza3083 ah sorry I ment that they can cause broken bones because the ventalation slits are just big enough for a hamsters leg or foot to get trapped inside. Also hamsters could bash into walls or furniture which could cause further injury. Plus the ventilation is very poor and when I have so stressed they have raised breathing levels and it just does not provide enough ventilation. 😊 so u still shouldn’t use them
Hey, you guys can put the wheel and bridge in the sand pit thingy (because hamsters + water = ❌(unless they’re drinking it) so that she could have more bedding to burrow and clean her self whenever she wants.
I had a hamster growing up named Daisy too! I would recommend a mesh lid with something heavy on top of it because hamsters are little escape artists! Make sure there’s plenty of air flow in the room as well so she doesn’t feel stuffy. They are nocturnal so it’s best to interact with them evening/night. There’s so much more information on how to take care of hamsters now than when I was growing up so I’m sure you both can find out even more info pretty easily! 💕 hope she brings you both lots of joy like my hamster did ❤️
Boyfriend of the year. You guys did a nice job picking everything out! I love my robo. The only thing she wouldn't tolerate was the ball. It gave her a lot of anxiety so I never put her in one. The other thing you might want to look into, and it can take up a bit of space so you may need to go a little bigger on the enclosure, I know that sounds crazy but robos obviously have so much energy. The more room, the better but I upgraded my wheel to the exotic nutrition silent runner and she loves it. Isn't hard for her to move even though it may look like it would be hard, and it actually keeps her from flying out if she ends up going faster than the wheel is turning. 😂 It happens. I think she feels safer in it too because she is a little more hidden inside it and less exposed. Have fun.
this looks great you guys! just a few tips: add more substrate for the hamsters to burrow, 5-6 inches is ok! , also the play ball for running around the house can stress the hamster out so maybe don't use that, you can also add in a sand bath but that's optional because of the breed of your hammy, maybe adding in a lid on your cage would be a good idea if there are any other pets in the house (maybe upgrade to a little bit of a bigger cage?), you may also want to upgrade to a 8" wheel so the hamsters back doesn't arch! other than that I think you guys did awesome and im sure your hammy loves her new home!! :)
honestly i had my short hair hamster for about 4 years, i let him run in his ball at night for 30-45mins just because i figure their nocturnal animals exercise at night is good for them. also had a separate room for the little guy to let him run around and free room(hamster proofed). of course once he got a little older stopped putting him in the ball (3 years old) so yeah don’t panic i mean they wouldn’t design something and continue selling it at a pet store knowing it kills the animal
I just went to my local Pet Co. and it broke my heart that I wasn't able to buy all of the poor fish there, so I thank you for doing just that and giving those animals that deserve a good life a home!
Try not to use food bowls and sprinkle the good round the cage it helps the hamster to forage and work for its food and is shown to give it a longer life spam
I’d recommend Higgins Sunburst at least for food, and I’ve also heard of people feeding them Mazuri lab blocks for more protein. Then, with the wheel, I’d recommend 8-9” or bigger. Plus, at least several inches of substrate is good. Many recommend six inches. They like to burrow.
I have some suggestions: Hamsters are burrowers so they need 6 inches of substrate to burrow in. The wheel is too small, I would suggest a wodent wheel as they are great! Roboroski Hamsters also come from the desert so make sure they have a large sandbath I would suggest getting an earthenware bowl so she doesn't chew the plastic one Lastly, the minimum cage size is 450sq inches or a 40gallon tank, I saw that your tank was a 20gallon so maybe think about upgrading it! I hope these tips were helpful!
Hi! I'm new to this channel and I like what I see. The little roborovski hamster is adorable! I would suggest keeping a sand bath at all times because robos especially like sand! A third of my roborovki's detolf enclosure is sand and he's almost always hanging out there. It's also where I placed his 12 inch silent runner, the sand helps keep it very stable.
The water is small so make sure to clean it out ever clean out which should be 1 a week. The chair the hamster won’t use as much because he/she will grow The clip on water bottles you can take off the clip part and add double sided tape on the back. The big ball won’t matter it’s just so the hamster has room. That’s all my tips! Forgot to add this. Check on your hamsters food everyday and refill it because that bowl was extremely small especially for the hamster because they eat so much! I had one for almost 2 years she died recently but those are my tips hope they helped!
tank size should be 450 sq inch minimum (40 gallon breeder tank) i would double the amount on bedding you put and hamster wheels are not safe. a good channel is victoria raechel. she has hundreds of videos. good luck. the hamster is very cute lol
It’s so nice to see that people finally do their research. I love that you did not put it in a small enclosure and you put it in a tank. The only thing I would change is the wheel. I did not quite see the size of it but I think it might be a 6.5 inch. I definitely think that you should get a bigger wheel because the hamsters back can bend and may even break. I would definitely recommend an 8-10 inch wheel. The bigger the better. Some other things I recommend is that you provide more than 6 inches of bedding. Other wise, I think you are doing a great job with Daisy!
My friend said you should use sunburst because it is the best food for them and if you didn’t already put 6 inches of bedding because they love to burrow, it is a natural instinct. Also if the food bowl doesn’t fit get a bigger one! Please also put a roof hamsters can escape! They also need at least an 8 inch wheel. :)
Hey Carson’s aquatics I’ve been ur channel since a rlly long time I love your content keep up the good work and post more videos about ur girlfriend someday again again I love ur content and I subscribe
No hate but the enclosure is not appropriate for your hamster. The bare minimum is a 40 gallon for a glass Aquarium. The bedding should be at least 6 inches. That would be about the entire hight of that tank. That bedding that you got should last you a month not years. The ball is bad cause they can get there feet stuck in them. I would recommend for variety for your hamster food. Sense I can’t see your hamster I can’t talk about the wheel. Size does not matter when it comes to the enclosure it still needs a bigger enclosure. I know you think you did your research but by the looks of it you didn’t do enough. We all make mistakes but what matters is once we acknowledge those mistakes how do we act on them. I’m glad to see you did good with the chew toys and water. I would recommend putting a lid on your upgraded enclosure cause some hamsters can jump.
Such a fun video!! I've been wanting to do this so bad! What a great idea for a tank rather than the cadges at pet smart. Seems like they are all in tanks when you buy the hamsters! Lots more room too!
Hey Carson. Love your channel bro. Just some tips about the hamster, get it a bigger running wheel and you will need to upgrade the tank to a bigger size very soon. Also the bedding I suggest having one side with a lot of bedding because they love to burrow. I would actually suggest more bedding in general cause the amount of bedding you used here was a little bit. Also the running ball is not good for the hamster. I hope you take my advice in consideration, I want the hamster to be happy. Again love the stuff you do on your channel. Happy Holidays!!
You can tell tou did do some research and you were able to get all the basic necessary things. A few tips that you can do little by little to improve Daisy's life: - add more bedding, 6 inches or more is better and it looks like you have enough so yea - You might have to change the wheel eventually to a 7inch or 8inch as she grows a bit more...probably online most pet store only sell 6.5 inch wheels - 20 gallon tank seems really big but a 40 gallon tank would have been better. I know it sucks because you just bought this one so maybe wait till she seems to be showing signs of stress - i know you said you will provide sand occasionally but a good tip sometimes it helps to keep it in since many hamsters will use it as a potty so it will make the enclosure easy to clean. - Also robos are hamster found in desert environments so keeping a source of sand in the tank at all time is recommended
Hey Carson! I remember that old betta tank! You should look into getting a common snapper for a personal Christmas gift! I have 2 of them and they are very personable and surprisingly easy to tame!
@@aiden4a I mean a female Florida snapper can stay around 8 to 12 inch shell length average and a male common can get up to 18 inches in shell length and 50 pounds
i just wanted point out a few things; the first thing is that the substrate is too less, the minimum is 15cm deep. the second thing is, a 20 gallon is not the proper size for a hamster, they need a minimum of 80x40cm floor space in minimum which is around a 40gal tank, though the bigger the better. have a nice day 💜
Hello Carson, I'm a new subscriber to your channel! I'm also an animal attendant, you may already know all this, but just in case I just wanted to let you and Tori know, that you would probably want to give Daisy some nesting material, and aside from feeding her a seed mix, give her some hay for fibers and a small piece of fresh veggie every day or every other day! She also may enjoy dried mealworms every now and then :) I'm happy to know you've already been informed about the hamster ball issue. Keep up the good work man, and Happy New Year from Finland!
20 gallon long tank is not large enough... robo hamsters actually need more space than syrians... they are more active! They need a BARE MINIMUM of 40 gallons... and you need at least 4 inches of substrate! Hope this helps!
Hey Carson. For cheap toys they can use toilet paper tubes. I use them in my hamsters cage and he loves it. He uses them as tunnels and he can chew them aswell
I recommend adding more bedding and adding some cucumber or lettuce or even fruit once a week and research if there would to have the fruit or vegetables and also I defiantly recommend a sand bath as well and some bridges and some more chew toys 😁😁💕💕
Research if there alo ud the fruit or vegetabl e just to be on the safe side like onions and tomatoes contain certain chemicals and acids that would make your hamster extremely ill 💓💓
Care tips: FIRST: get a bigger tank!(40 gallons or bigger) Second: don't get Hamsters from pet stores Third: add more bedding Fourth: no hamster balls Fifth: have a sand-bath in there 24/7 Hope this helps!!!
Hello! Thank you for doing your research here’s a couple tips -I would really recommend getting at least a 40 gallon tank so your hamster has enough space to roam around -this 6 inch wheel is fine but an 8 inch wheel would be much better to make sure your hamsters back is in arching - I would recommend having at least 6 to 8 inches so your hamster can borrow but more would be better last hip I will try to have more of a variety of chew toys so your hamster can choose what type they like I’m not trying to hate whatsoever just a couple tips 😊
I love that you got a hammy!!! I have a couple of tips for you... the ball you got is actually suppppperrrr bad for them. You’ll need at least 6 inches of bedding a bigger wheel and the tank you got is actually too small. They need 450 sq inches of floor space you should look into bin cages as they are cheap. Also you should get more toys/hides to switch out so the hammy doesn’t get bored and I would put a sand bath in 24/7 because it’s important and what they use to bathe when they feel dirty so it shouldn’t be every once in awhile as they will probably use it daily.Victoria Rachel is a good youtuber to look into because doing research is SUPER IMPORTANT. Please know I’m not hating and I’m giving this information from a good place and not to hate.
i see alot of people are already talking about needing more bedding that's true but the cage is short and you wouldn't have much room for the hide or wheel without it going out of the cage risking ecasping so I'd recommend putting more bedding on one side of the cage
You need to have at least 6 inches of bedding So then the hamster can burrow 450 sq inches of floor space is the minimum size for a hamster enclosure u can make a bin cage very cheap just search DIY bin cage

“Nice and cheap, that’s what Carson likes to see” my favourite quote
Love your videos keep up the good work Carson
The reason she’s active is because she’s a roborosbki they are super entergetic hamsters
My robos have always avoided the sand bath. I left it out for a couple days and it was untouched. They must be weirdos
REALLY REALLY CUTE!!!
Oh yeah, the hamster is cute also.
Nice job Carson😍😍😍🙂
I love your channel a lot but here is some tips for your hamster care:
- Since this is a 20gallon aquarium, it is under the bare minimum which is a 40 gallon. But if you want cheaper options, there are bin cages which is around 20 dollars. (They are very small but they need a large cage) Bare minimum: 450sq inches
- Add more bedding.
Love to see how much and how fast this channel has grow been subbed since 4k
I love love love your content. Especially the turtle videos. Much ❤️ from STL
We have a hamster too. Decorating the habitat is so fun.
Not “after a long day of bein of hamsterrr” 😂
She’s so cute. But they will need a sand bath all times especially because robos come from Sandy deserts , 40 gallon tank/ bin cage and I wouldn’t recommend using a ball since the ventilation isn’t the best and their feet can get stuck or can swell up.
not true the ball does not cause bumble foot is caused by wire or mesh butt i do belive the first part of your comment.
Awe y’all are cute ♥️ I love hamsters, they make great pets.
Why would you call that Guinea pig ugly that’s so mean
can you take a joke lmfao
Yes I can but I just thought it was funny you called that thing ugly when your the ugly one
@@sallie3156 that makes no sense lmao, you must be insecure if you’re calling me ugly.
Ik it was a joke but still I have guinea pigs and I LOVE skinny pig and I got SO MAD when he called it ugly lol
No actually I’m very confident
The sand bath is not optional dwarf hamsters come from very sandy areas like deserts so it is REQUIRED to have one
I absolutely love seeing the new uploads and it makes me so excited whenever I see a Carson's aquatic video
#1. You want to have at LEAST a 40 gallon aquarium. #2. You want to have at least 6 inches of bedding for so you’re hamster can burrow.
2:54 *"Sooo cute..."*
"It looks like a devil" lmao
lol
honestly i had my short hair hamster for about 4 years, i let him run in his ball at night for 30-45mins just because i figure their nocturnal animals exercise at night is good for them. also had a separate room for the little guy to let him run around and free room(hamster proofed).
of course once he got a little older stopped putting him in the ball (3 years old) so yeah don’t panic i mean they wouldn’t design something and continue selling it at a pet store knowing it kills the animal
I read ur comment and my heart stopped when I heard about the hamster ball then when u said u don’t use it anymore I started breathing again lol
Hamsters do love to dig so at least 6 inches of bedding and at least 450 square inches is recommended. The cheapest way to go is a bin cage
Carson I love your videos. on Christmas spend time with your family
The Ball is not good for them but for the most part y’all Did pretty good
I’d recommend Higgins Sunburst at least for food, and I’ve also heard of people feeding them Mazuri lab blocks for more protein. Then, with the wheel, I’d recommend 8-9” or bigger. Plus, at least several inches of substrate is good. Many recommend six inches. They like to burrow.
"Yeah nice and cheap thats what Carson's likes to see" hahaha
Been watching for a while now, I love your vids man great content, and it helped me convince my friend to get back into the fish hobby
I have some suggestions:
Hamsters are burrowers so they need 6 inches of substrate to burrow in.
The wheel is too small, I would suggest a wodent wheel as they are great!
Roboroski Hamsters also come from the desert so make sure they have a large sandbath
I would suggest getting an earthenware bowl so she doesn't chew the plastic one
Lastly, the minimum cage size is 450sq inches or a 40gallon tank, I saw that your tank was a 20gallon so maybe think about upgrading it!
I hope these tips were helpful!
Well, I do gotta say that’s pretty genius to use a Fishtank as a cage! 😂❤🐠🐹
The chair the hamster won’t use as much because he/she will grow
The clip on water bottles you can take off the clip part and add double sided tape on the back.
Hamster wheels are safe! Well, not wire ones. I am guessing you meant ball! Balls are for sure not safe.
Its a small hamster, 20 gallon is fine
@@siniestroelite2131 No, 20 gals still isn't enough to meet the minimum for robo hamsters.
@@siniestroelite2131 that’s not enough.
Great video Carson you never disappoint but if we get you 2000 likes you gotta where burgerking crown for the next video 👑
Love this vids man keep it up
It’s so nice to see that people finally do their research.
Wow me and my girlfriend just bought a hamster and a couple days later y’all bought a hamster as well omg😂
Pls watch Victoria raechel
Your vids are very helpful and entertaining .I love the way you treat your animal thank you Carson
Dang Carson. She’s lovely. Hopefully we get to see her in more videos.
The hamster is so cute man!! You u are so kind for you girlfriend! Keep up the great work😁😁😁
Hey Carson’s aquatics I’ve been ur channel since a rlly long time I love your content keep up the good work and post more videos about ur girlfriend someday again again I love ur content and I subscribe
Tori is back
No hate but the enclosure is not appropriate for your hamster.
I had my hamster in 25 gallons his whole life and he seemed really happy
You need at least a 40 gallon tank
You can tell tou did do some research and you were able to get all the basic necessary things. A few tips that you can do little by little to improve Daisy's life:
- add more bedding, 6 inches or more is better and it looks like you have enough so yea
- You might have to change the wheel eventually to a 7inch or 8inch as she grows a bit more...probably online most pet store only sell 6.5 inch wheels
- 20 gallon tank seems really big but a 40 gallon tank would have been better. I know it sucks because you just bought this one so maybe wait till she seems to be showing signs of stress
- i know you said you will provide sand occasionally but a good tip sometimes it helps to keep it in since many hamsters will use it as a potty so it will make the enclosure easy to clean.
- Also robos are hamster found in desert environments so keeping a source of sand in the tank at all time is recommended
And also the best food is the sun burst seed mix with a protein pellet
Higgins Sunburst hamster mix. And a rat/ mice pellet
Hey Carson! I remember that old betta tank! You should look into getting a common snapper for a personal Christmas gift! I have 2 of them and they are very personable and surprisingly easy to tame!
How big do they get?
@@aiden4a I mean a female Florida snapper can stay around 8 to 12 inch shell length average and a male common can get up to 18 inches in shell length and 50 pounds
@@dreeew141 thanks 😊
i just wanted point out a few things; the first thing is that the substrate is too less, the minimum is 15cm deep. the second thing is, a 20 gallon is not the proper size for a hamster, they need a minimum of 80x40cm floor space in minimum which is around a 40gal tank, though the bigger the better. have a nice day 💜
Oh my word that is no joke the cutest robo I've ever seen. Like what the hec?!?!?
I’m addicted to your videos, I really enjoy them, good luck with the hamster 👍
Hello Carson, I'm a new subscriber to your channel!
I'm also an animal attendant, you may already know all this, but just in case I just wanted to let you and Tori know, that you would probably want to give Daisy some nesting material, and aside from feeding her a seed mix, give her some hay for fibers and a small piece of fresh veggie every day or every other day! She also may enjoy dried mealworms every now and then :) I'm happy to know you've already been informed about the hamster ball issue.
Keep up the good work man, and Happy New Year from Finland!
i would reccommend putting a lot more bedding :) since they like to burrow! 9 inches is the best, next to 6 inches
Robos come from the desert, they need a sand bath
Merry Christmas! Yall have a good one!
You need at least a 40 gallon tank!! Also add as much bedding as you can, 6 inches or more if possible. No hate! I’m glad you did research.
People don’t prefer wheels for hamsters because, the ventilation wholes can cut their feet or get them stuck etc, which the cuts can cause infections.
Yay he posted love the vids keep up the work!!!
Thanks for uploading
Another adventure of Mr and Mrs Aquatics!
Yay new vid
20 gallon long tank is not large enough... robo hamsters actually need more space than syrians... they are more active! They need a BARE MINIMUM of 40 gallons... and you need at least 4 inches of substrate! Hope this helps!
I love how you guys tried to do the best for him I’m not going to hate on y’all like most of the comments your hamster is adorable :)
Care tips:
FIRST: get a bigger tank!(40 gallons or bigger)
Second: don't get Hamsters from pet stores
Third: add more bedding
Fourth: no hamster balls
Fifth: have a sand-bath in there 24/7
Hope this helps!!!
Hello! Thank you for doing your research here’s a couple tips
-I would really recommend getting at least a 40 gallon tank so your hamster has enough space to roam around
-this 6 inch wheel is fine but an 8 inch wheel would be much better to make sure your hamsters back is in arching
- I would recommend having at least 6 to 8 inches so your hamster can borrow but more would be better
last hip I will try to have more of a variety of chew toys so your hamster can choose what type they like
I’m not trying to hate whatsoever just a couple tips 😊
I think you did a great job on your first hamster cage Carson!
i see alot of people are already talking about needing more bedding that's true but the cage is short and you wouldn't have much room for the hide or wheel without it going out of the cage risking ecasping so I'd recommend putting more bedding on one side of the cage
Love the video hamsters are nocturnal animals they're more active at night and hope u have a mesh lid on the tank because they can be escape artists 🙂
You need to have at least 6 inches of bedding So then the hamster can burrow 450 sq inches of floor space is the minimum size for a hamster enclosure u can make a bin cage very cheap just search DIY bin cage
