This drama surpassed my expectations for a xianxia drama, and is probably the best xianxia of this year for me. It has great CGI and one of the best OST I’ve heard. The drama created such a beautiful magical story. Wish they could’ve shown more happy scenes of our main leads at the end instead of just a simple “I’m back” by DFQC. We’re missing a wedding and some kids. I absolutely love the male lead, Dongfang Qingcang. 🥰 He’s domineering, but not toxic. Underneath everything, he has a good heart and cares for his tribe. The love between the main leads was cute and heartwarming. You can tell how much they cherish each other in the drama. Dylan Wang’s acting has definitely improved compared to his previous works. For such a young actor, he created an unforgettable Dongfang Qingcang, the Moon Supreme. Of course, his voice dubber made his character more enjoyable. 🔥🔥🔥
Yes this show is all about the moon supreme supremacy but as the episode came he keep loosing that charisma that DFQC POSSESSED… the more he fell for fairy the more weaker frail he gets …. His savage scenes was the spark of the show that’s what made me loose interest in this plot but I ll praise Dylan he is the perfect choice for dfcq he did a great job 👏🏻 and yes the animation and CGI was cherry on top 🔝 and his f course OST areyunings die for chefs kiss 💋yu yuning’s looking for you is my fave . I really wast not able to digest Esther yu’s acting over cute and innocent. Her character basically ruined DFQC …. I don’t know why is that on novel or is just in the show !! Any way that’s my point of view only I wanted to say this to someone… I really liked this show at the beginning but whenever fairy comes acting sweetly but sabotaging DFQC unknown or known reason I can’t stand watching. I like 5 years of returning of ling buyi than this I am back !

Out of all the chinese dramas I watched, this is the best. it's complete, there's drama, action, comedy and romance, but the romantic scenes are not cringey or cheesy at all but enough for you to feel that there's a spark between them, Orchid didn't change DFQC but she taught him how to love, how to be patient, how to be forgivable and how to make sacrifices for your love ones, and how not to be selfish. because that's what was taken away from DFQC since he was young, to feel different emotions, even though Orchid knows that DFQC is bad, she didn't abandoned him because Orchid knew that there was still good in DFQC's heart because that is what he showed to Orchid, that's why DFQC said "In this world everyone hates me, fear me, rely on me, admired me, but she's the only one who loves me and cares for me" So this drama is very memorable for me because, they show that even if you are a bad person you still have a chance to change, and Love can change the world and there are many memorable lines here in the show.
I think the best thing about this drama and their story is the gradual growth. From strangers to hatred to caring to falling in love. Falling in love so deeply that they would sacrifice their own lives, not believe in fate but have faith on only their love. It's like seeing a plant growing and blossoming in the most gorgeous flower. The details this drama has is absolutely beautiful. The emotions, their words, it's perfect.
Almost everyone in this drama has a progressive growth arc. As well as the two leads. By end of series many changes have been made and the characters are more mature and wise and good.
In this story, they portrayed a love that you believe in. There is a major problem in many romantic storylines: when they take a hero or even two main characters who have never experienced strong love for anyone, who have been selfish, and then show a deep transformation and the ability to sacrifice everything when it comes to someone specific. When someone becomes the exception. I don't really believe in exceptions. However, in this story, everything is logical. For Dongfang Qingxuan, his fairy is undoubtedly special. However, he is consistently portrayed as a person who knows how to love deeply and intensely. He loved his father, which is why his death traumatized him. He loved his brother, even when he couldn't feel it. That's why Dongfang always found excuses for not killing his brother when he hated him and tried to kill him. Dongfang loved the dragon. Dongfang loved his people. He was mutilated, stripped of his senses, turned into a half-dead being, in his own words. But Dongfang didn't hate his people or his fate because of it. He sincerely cared about many things. That's why his love for Xiao Lan Hua felt natural to me. And it's easy to believe in it. Dongfang Qingxuan is shown as a person who knows how to love deeply and intensely. And he knows how to be noble. He had plenty of opportunities to get rid of his rival when he was mortal, but he didn't. He also honored the memory of Chidi, the former goddess of war. Dongfang performed many noble acts, which makes you believe in his love and his ability to selflessly sacrifice himself to protect those he loves. At the same time, he has a strong character. He can make decisions for his loved one, even knowing that she may not like them. And even when Dongfang fell in love with the fairy, he didn't immediately abandon his idea of seeking revenge against her people. He was willing to continue acting on his own terms, even knowing that she might hate him for it. Xiao Lan Hua has a strong character as well. Therefore, the special episodes left me with a sense of incompleteness. I highly doubt that such strong characters would simply get married and live completely peacefully and happily without any adventures. I can easily imagine that Xiao Lan Hua might have made a deal with someone, become indebted to save Dongfang, to ensure that his bone moon wasn't destroyed. And this could have been the basis for the plot development in the second season. I can also imagine that Xiao Lan Hua wouldn't be able to stay away from Chang Fen's adventures, and Dongfang could be jealous even after their marriage. Or she could decide to help someone, which could potentially put her in danger... And she would be pregnant at that moment, and Dongfang would strongly oppose it. In the end, there could have been intrigues, secrets, and much more. From Dongfang's side, he could have faced something after his return as well. For example, the need to master a new power. It could have turned out to be unstable. Also, there was the emperor, who would hardly have done nothing about Dongfang's return. In general, it's a pity that the second season will not be made. I always feel sorry when stories end with a wedding because it would be interesting to see the further adventures of the characters. But I understand the conventions of the genre.
I think one of his best lines yet is when she say “it’s her faith to save everyone” and he responds with “ but it’s my mission to save you “😢 not gonna lie I really loved this I watch it again for the third or fourth time their love can only make you hope for it in real life but that’s tv and things don’t happen so in real life
I need a man like DFQC in my life. I love how he loves her without holding back, no matter what anyone says. Their love for each other was so pure and from the heart. Definitely one of my top favorite. I'll need to rewatch this again.

At the beginning, all Chinese people thought that this play was just like traditional plays, where DFQC was omnipotent, overbearing and unreasonable, and Orchid was cute and silly, and could only let DFQC protect her. But no one who watched the show guessed what was going on until the end... This show tells us how to love the world, love peace, and learn to love others. The weakness of DFQC and Orchid is each other, and their love has touched everything in the world. If no one has seen the show yet, I think they will regret it for the rest of their lives.
6x for me.. so far, and I’m still probably going to watch it again, because it’s just that much better than any other series in this genre.. and most others. The entire thing is extremely well done, beautifully designed and directed, and utter perfection in the way in which these characters were portrayed. It’s a masterpiece that I expect to watch many more times in the future, because there’s nothing else that comes close to it that I’ve seen yet.
i'm still not able to move on from this drama😭 it's refreshing to see a xianxia drama where the male lead is domineering but not toxic, and the female lead is cute and gentle but actually speaks out her mind and not simply let people step over her. this drama shows how love is supposed to be like, both ppl should respect each other, contributing to the relationship while not forgetting their own responsibilities. and the way i bawled when they both were preparing to sacrifice themselves for each other😭

I love your description of him, domineering but not toxic. I wasn't put off by his behaviour and the reason is what you just described. She pushed back a lot and he knew when to step back. I loved that about them.

I don't know how long people needed to watch it all, but this show is one of the very few that i had to eat very fast so i could move on from having them on my mind and heart. Took me 3 days to watch 36 episodes. The crew on this show really mastered the craft of shaking some us to our core with all the extravagant costumes, the powerful emotions, fabulous music, amazing scenery ... that was an amazing ride. They manage to take my mind off worldly struggles for a weekend, i can't thank enough everyone on this shown for this. Truly a masterpiece.
This show surpassed Ashes of Love for me. Some other commenters said it best. It isn’t toxic back and forth loving then killing each other like some of the other shows. I couldn’t watch all of Immortal Samsara. I couldn’t stomach how toxic the love story was. DFQC was really a strong character and you see him grow into a caring and loving person outwardly. Excellent show.

I used to love ten miles peach blossom.. but not anymore.. in that TMPB, too many actors involved n too many side stories involved resulting in less on screen time for the couple. But diff with LBFD, they have a lot onscreen time together . N i feel they both equally love each other deeply, whereas in TMPB, i feel like Ye Hua was the one who loved her more, Qian qian was also kinda fierce, but orchid is far more gentler and not easily swayed.. she was told dfqc massacre her tribes yet she still wanna be with him. I dont think in other drama, the female lead would be that generous to forgive the one who massacre her tribe
Dylan Wang's acting towards the end of episodes of the drama is top notch. Could feel his pain and frustration when he is crying. Esp when she dies. You can see how he hates himself for it. It was very apt that after that he chooses to trap himself in a dream with her. I wasn't like blown away or anything for his love for her until that comes in. That's when it's becoming clear to me she is his life in literal and emotional sense.
I couldn’t agree with you more. Also, the BTS of that death scene was so heart-wrenching and added more angst to what I was feeling as a viewer. Dylan’s improvement in his acting skills are clearly shown through out this drama.
I just finished the drama. I watched it because I was bored lmao. At first I was not really interested because I find the FL a bit cringy with her cutesy act. I thought it would be a typical cdrama with cold heartless ML and weak FL. But damn I was hooked with the story when I reached ep 6-8. He is indeed heartless, this isn't just metaphor because he literally is when he had to master hellfire. He's mean, but not toxic. He is only cruel to his enemies. The FL is weak, but she is one of the bravest and strongest FL I have seen. I love the character development, not just the main leads but also the supporting leads. I'm really glad I gave this drama a chance and now it becomes my most favorite cdrama❤️❤️❤️
I waited every week to watch this. They didn’t hurt or sacrifice anyone for their love. They loved each other and protected everyone including people unrelated to them
I remember reading somewhere that the production team hired 13 different companies to work on the CGI for this drama. That’s a huge investment and why one of the reasons the drama looks so good.

this drama will forever hold a special place in my heart, dylan’s portrayal of DFQC was stunning, and not only the visuals in this drama but the story was absolutely beautiful. i think arbiter’s line in the drama “everything in this world is fate, everything except love” is very meaningful. i just finished it and im still struggling to put into words how i feel. their love story was so beautifully painful, i dont think any couple has stirred up such a storm in my heart, from such highs to such lows… and not just their love, but everyones character development was so beautifully done, theres no clear line that separates good from evil, love can conquer all and is not a weakness, but a strength... perhaps it sounds cliche at first but this drama was so refreshing to watch, its definitely not short of either comedic or heart wrenchingly sweet or painful scenes. this drama exceeded all my expectations

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this edit and everytime it gives me the same feeling. I love this drama beyond words and every detail of this play and most importantly their whole love story it wasn't something sweet and soft but something so deep that words can't express. Both Esther and Dylan acted so DAMN well just like how the characters loved each other ; equally,deeply and even both sacrificing themselves for each other.I already watched the drama 4 times till now and I still wish I could forget the whole drama and watch it all over again. Esther is one of my most favourite actresses and I really people can appreciate both her and Dylan because they are very serious with their acting and are gradually improving SO MUCH. This drama breaks all clichés! There should be a second season!! The story is left open-ended, there are so many untold stories, this perfect acting by Esther and Dylan deserves to be seen again and their characters continue to develop!

Yes he was possessed with Tai Su and she had to kill him if they wanted to kill tai su. She did kill tai su and maybe saved him by kissing him when tai su has left his body to perish. Remember she can bring back dead to life. That is why you see that moon shaped bone orchid and that is why she stopped crying after seeing it because she knew she can bring him back. He only turned back to his original form and not human body. And she nurtured him there in xilan land same like he did for her and he was back after 500 years. Also it was mentioned in the beginning of the show that DFQC is immortal and it’s impossible to kill him that was why they could only seal him in that haotian tower or how is it called after that war between two tribes with chi di woman. This c-drama made my cry in each and every episode It just has so good vocals , songs and the dialouges and Orchid and DFCQ were so cute throughout i seriously fell in love with this drama and i have watched it more than 2 times but whenever i watch it , I fall in love with them all over again
I was struck by this story, especially the episodes from 30 . It was beautiful and very painful at the same time. Although at times it seemed to me that the writers placed too much emphasis on cruelty. For example, the test for Xiao Lan Hua was supposed to involve torture. I understand that it was a vivid way to show that she was willing to do anything for her loved one... But couldn't the test have included some unique magical way to prove her sincerity? Or something like the fact that he agreed to impale himself with spikes to reach her on the bridge. I understand that Dongfang Qingxuan took on obligations to his people in this way. But again, why couldn't they find another way? After all, they both suffered a lot. And they sacrificed a lot for each other. When a certain plot device is used too many times in a story, it leaves a strange aftertaste. At the same time, I really, really like the story itself. It struck me much more than I could have imagined. I'm generally not a fan of Chinese dramas and I'm quite skeptical of them. I decided to watch this story randomly out of boredom. And I couldn't believe that I would literally be in tears for several days because of a few episodes. It's a bit ironic considering I'm a 38-year-old man. But some moments touched me deeply, perhaps not the ones that touched most people. I liked Xiao Lan Hua. At first, she annoyed me and seemed very naive. However, I understood that she was immature, lacked life experience, and had a weak understanding of her place in the world. She grew as a person. And although I was angry with her for her behavior towards Dongfang in the last episodes, I understood her motivation. And I understood that it was very painful for both of them. However, it wasn't Xiao Lan Hua who surprised me that much. Dongfang Qingxuan and his story captivated me. First and foremost, the story with the hellfire touched me. Throughout his life, Dongfang Qingxuan strived to protect those who were dear to him. His country, his people, his brother. And in the process, his emotional connections were severed, and he was deprived of something very important so that he could protect those he loves. It's literally a story about how you can't live a normal life if you want your loved ones to live. It's a story about having to give up a part of something important within yourself to be able to protect everything you love. I'm currently in Ukraine... And overall, this is a very painful and important theme for me right now.

The skill level was amazing. Not only when Dylan played the emotionless DFQC and the healed lover, but also when he played Orchid. Amazing. Even Esther did a great job playing 3 different characters, DFQC, Orchid and the goddess. Superb acting, such a wonderful and well done show.
Trust me when I say this.... I cant get over this drama... Its like at this point i need help mann.... I burst into tears randomly only by thinking of them... These two have portrayed the characters so well that my mind really does believe these two exist in another realm where these have been living happily with each other since forever in the arbiter hall!!!... Like i cant get over the fact how much truly did they love each other... They never even for a single second misunderstood each other.. When he said he didn't love her truly and just used her just to save her... At that moment too... Orchid didn't believe him... She didn't hate him for a single second neither did he.... She sacrificed herself for him.. And he did the same in future for her.... Like i haven't seen anything purer than this in my whole fucking life..... They truly deserved the world... But there wasn't a moment where they only thought of themselves.. They literally saved all three realms... But the fact that he could destroy all the three of them just for her makes me crave to watch this show again and again ... Man, everything about this drama was spot on, and just amazing. I was already a fan of Dylan, but after this, I am like a huge fan and the actress who played the fairy it’s going on my favorite list too. The settings, the costumes (especially Dylan‘s costumes🤤), the story, I love everything about it!

Out of all the chinese dramas I watched, this is the best. it's complete, there's drama, action, comedy and romance, but the romantic scenes are not cringey or cheesy at all but enough for you to feel that there's a spark between them, Orchid didn't change DFQC but she taught him how to love, how to be patient, how to be forgivable and how to make sacrifices for your love ones, and how not to be selfish. because that's what was taken away from DFQC since he was young, to feel different emotions, even though Orchid knows that DFQC is bad, she didn't abandoned him because Orchid knew that there was still good in DFQC's heart because that is what he showed to Orchid, that's why DFQC said "In this world everyone hates me, fear me, rely on me, admired me, but she's the only one who loves me and cares for me" So this drama is very memorable for me because, they show that even if you are a bad person you still have a chance to change, and Love can change the world and there are many memorable lines here in the show.

In this story, they portrayed a love that you believe in. There is a major problem in many romantic storylines: when they take a hero or even two main characters who have never experienced strong love for anyone, who have been selfish, and then show a deep transformation and the ability to sacrifice everything when it comes to someone specific. When someone becomes the exception. I don't really believe in exceptions.
However, in this story, everything is logical. For Dongfang Qingxuan, his fairy is undoubtedly special. However, he is consistently portrayed as a person who knows how to love deeply and intensely. He loved his father, which is why his death traumatized him. He loved his brother, even when he couldn't feel it. That's why Dongfang always found excuses for not killing his brother when he hated him and tried to kill him. Dongfang loved the dragon. Dongfang loved his people. He was mutilated, stripped of his senses, turned into a half-dead being, in his own words. But Dongfang didn't hate his people or his fate because of it. He sincerely cared about many things.
That's why his love for Xiao Lan Hua felt natural to me. And it's easy to believe in it. Dongfang Qingxuan is shown as a person who knows how to love deeply and intensely. And he knows how to be noble. He had plenty of opportunities to get rid of his rival when he was mortal, but he didn't. He also honored the memory of Chidi, the former goddess of war. Dongfang performed many noble acts, which makes you believe in his love and his ability to selflessly sacrifice himself to protect those he loves.
At the same time, he has a strong character. He can make decisions for his loved one, even knowing that she may not like them. And even when Dongfang fell in love with the fairy, he didn't immediately abandon his idea of seeking revenge against her people. He was willing to continue acting on his own terms, even knowing that she might hate him for it. Xiao Lan Hua has a strong character as well. Therefore, the special episodes left me with a sense of incompleteness. I highly doubt that such strong characters would simply get married and live completely peacefully and happily without any adventures.
I can easily imagine that Xiao Lan Hua might have made a deal with someone, become indebted to save Dongfang, to ensure that his bone moon wasn't destroyed. And this could have been the basis for the plot development in the second season. I can also imagine that Xiao Lan Hua wouldn't be able to stay away from Chang Fen's adventures, and Dongfang could be jealous even after their marriage. Or she could decide to help someone, which could potentially put her in danger... And she would be pregnant at that moment, and Dongfang would strongly oppose it. In the end, there could have been intrigues, secrets, and much more.
From Dongfang's side, he could have faced something after his return as well. For example, the need to master a new power. It could have turned out to be unstable. Also, there was the emperor, who would hardly have done nothing about Dongfang's return. In general, it's a pity that the second season will not be made. I always feel sorry when stories end with a wedding because it would be interesting to see the further adventures of the characters. But I understand the conventions of the genre.

Watched this back to back and cried 4 times each time. Their love is so deep that it haunts me till this day to watch it again.
6x for me.. so far, and I’m still probably going to watch it again, because it’s just that much better than any other series in this genre.. and most others. The entire thing is extremely well done, beautifully designed and directed, and utter perfection in the way in which these characters were portrayed. It’s a masterpiece that I expect to watch many more times in the future, because there’s nothing else that comes close to it that I’ve seen yet.

i'm still not able to move on from this drama😭 it's refreshing to see a xianxia drama where the male lead is domineering but not toxic, and the female lead is cute and gentle but actually speaks out her mind and not simply let people step over her. this drama shows how love is supposed to be like, both ppl should respect each other, contributing to the relationship while not forgetting their own responsibilities. and the way i bawled when they both were preparing to sacrifice themselves for each other😭

I don't know how long people needed to watch it all, but this show is one of the very few that i had to eat very fast so i could move on from having them on my mind and heart. Took me 3 days to watch 36 episodes. The crew on this show really mastered the craft of shaking some us to our core with all the extravagant costumes, the powerful emotions, fabulous music, amazing scenery ... that was an amazing ride. They manage to take my mind off worldly struggles for a weekend, i can't thank enough everyone on this shown for this.

This show surpassed Ashes of Love for me. Some other commenters said it best. It isn’t toxic back and forth loving then killing each other like some of the other shows. I couldn’t watch all of Immortal Samsara. I couldn’t stomach how toxic the love story was. DFQC was really a strong character and you see him grow into a caring and loving person outwardly. Excellent show.

I used to love ten miles peach blossom.. but not anymore.. in that TMPB, too many actors involved n too many side stories involved resulting in less on screen time for the couple. But diff with LBFD, they have a lot onscreen time together . N i feel they both equally love each other deeply, whereas in TMPB, i feel like Ye Hua was the one who loved her more, Qian qian was also kinda fierce, but orchid is far more gentler and not easily swayed.. she was told dfqc massacre her tribes yet she still wanna be with him. I dont think in other drama, the female lead would be that generous to forgive the one who massacre her tribe

Dylan Wang's acting towards the end of episodes of the drama is top notch. Could feel his pain and frustration when he is crying. Esp when she dies. You can see how he hates himself for it. It was very apt that after that he chooses to trap himself in a dream with her. I wasn't like blown away or anything for his love for her until that comes in. That's when it's becoming clear to me she is his life in literal and emotional sense.
I couldn’t agree with you more. Also, the BTS of that death scene was so heart-wrenching and added more angst to what I was feeling as a viewer. Dylan’s improvement in his acting skills are clearly shown through out this drama.

I just finished the drama. I watched it because I was bored lmao. At first I was not really interested because I find the FL a bit cringy with her cutesy act. I thought it would be a typical cdrama with cold heartless ML and weak FL. But damn I was hooked with the story when I reached ep 6-8. He is indeed heartless, this isn't just metaphor because he literally is when he had to master hellfire. He's mean, but not toxic. He is only cruel to his enemies. The FL is weak, but she is one of the bravest and strongest FL I have seen. I love the character development, not just the main leads but also the supporting leads. I'm really glad I gave this drama a chance and now it becomes my most favorite cdrama❤️❤️❤️

this drama will forever hold a special place in my heart, dylan’s portrayal of DFQC was stunning, and not only the visuals in this drama but the story was absolutely beautiful. i think arbiter’s line in the drama “everything in this world is fate, everything except love” is very meaningful. i just finished it and im still struggling to put into words how i feel. their love story was so beautifully painful, i dont think any couple has stirred up such a storm in my heart, from such highs to such lows… and not just their love, but everyones character development was so beautifully done, theres no clear line that separates good from evil, love can conquer all and is not a weakness, but a strength... perhaps it sounds cliche at first but this drama was so refreshing to watch, its definitely not short of either comedic or heart wrenchingly sweet or painful scenes. this drama exceeded all my expectations

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this edit and everytime it gives me the same feeling. I love this drama beyond words and every detail of this play and most importantly their whole love story it wasn't something sweet and soft but something so deep that words can't express. Both Esther and Dylan acted so DAMN well just like how the characters loved each other ; equally,deeply and even both sacrificing themselves for each other.I already watched the drama 4 times till now and I still wish I could forget the whole drama and watch it all over again. Esther is one of my most favourite actresses and I really people can appreciate both her and Dylan because they are very serious with their acting and are gradually improving SO MUCH. Remember she can bring back dead to life. That is why you see that moon shaped bone orchid and that is why she stopped crying after seeing it because she knew she can bring him back. He only turned back to his original form and not human body. And she nurtured him there in xilan land same like he did for her and he was back after 500 years. Also it was mentioned in the beginning of the show that DFQC is immortal and it’s impossible to kill him that was why they could only seal him in that haotian tower or how is it called after that war between two tribes with chi di woman. I don’t get from where a lot of people think it’s a dream, there were no such indications. Yes there was a dream for DFQC when orchid died because he thought there was no chance to bring her back and he had too much pain so he fell to his dream and illusion but once he finds out that he has a hope to save her he wakes up from the dream. However in orchids case she sees the bone orchid so she is sure that some day he will be back so there is no need for a dream for hwr

I was struck by this story, especially the episodes from 30 . It was beautiful and very painful at the same time. Although at times it seemed to me that the writers placed too much emphasis on cruelty. For example, the test for Xiao Lan Hua was supposed to involve torture. I understand that it was a vivid way to show that she was willing to do anything for her loved one... But couldn't the test have included some unique magical way to prove her sincerity? Or something like the fact that he agreed to impale himself with spikes to reach her on the bridge. I understand that Dongfang Qingxuan took on obligations to his people in this way. But again, why couldn't they find another way? After all, they both suffered a lot. And they sacrificed a lot for each other. When a certain plot device is used too many times in a story, it leaves a strange aftertaste.
At the same time, I really, really like the story itself. It struck me much more than I could have imagined. I'm generally not a fan of Chinese dramas and I'm quite skeptical of them. I decided to watch this story randomly out of boredom. And I couldn't believe that I would literally be in tears for several days because of a few episodes. It's a bit ironic considering I'm a 38-year-old man. But some moments touched me deeply, perhaps not the ones that touched most people.
I liked Xiao Lan Hua. At first, she annoyed me and seemed very naive. However, I understood that she was immature, lacked life experience, and had a weak understanding of her place in the world. She grew as a person. And although I was angry with her for her behavior towards Dongfang in the last episodes, I understood her motivation. And I understood that it was very painful for both of them.
However, it wasn't Xiao Lan Hua who surprised me that much. Dongfang Qingxuan and his story captivated me. First and foremost, the story with the hellfire touched me. Throughout his life, Dongfang Qingxuan strived to protect those who were dear to him. His country, his people, his brother. And in the process, his emotional connections were severed, and he was deprived of something very important so that he could protect those he loves. It's literally a story about how you can't live a normal life if you want your loved ones to live. It's a story about having to give up a part of something important within yourself to be able to protect everything you love. I'm currently in Ukraine... And overall, this is a very painful and important theme for me right now.

The skill level was amazing. Not only when Dylan played the emotionless DFQC and the healed lover, but also when he played Orchid. Amazing. Even Esther did a great job playing 3 different characters, DFQC, Orchid and the goddess. Superb acting, such a wonderful and well done show.

Trust me when I say this.... I cant get over this drama... Its like at this point i need help mann.... I burst into tears randomly only by thinking of them... These two have portrayed the characters so well that my mind really does believe these two exist in another realm where these have been living happily with each other since forever in the arbiter hall!!!... Like i cant get over the fact how much truly did they love each other... They never even for a single second misunderstood each other.. When he said he didn't love her truly and just used her just to save her... At that moment too... Orchid didn't believe him... She didn't hate him for a single second neither did he.... She sacrificed herself for him.. And he did the same in future for her.... Like i haven't seen anything purer than this in my whole fucking life..... They truly deserved the world... But there wasn't a moment where they only thought of themselves.. They literally saved all three realms... But the fact that he could destroy all the three of them just for her makes me crave to watch this show again and again ... I just want to forget this whole show and discover this once again and watch this and get addicted to this just like i did... Its ost... The costumes, the cgi... Oh my god... Man, everything about this drama was spot on, and just amazing. I was already a fan of Dylan, but after this, I am like a huge fan and the actress who played the fairy it’s going on my favorite list too. The settings, the costumes (especially Dylan‘s costumes🤤), the story, I love everything about it!
And the supporting cast was impressive too!
