Learning to Cook Italian Food at a Bologna Cooking Class in Italy

  • There's no better way to learn how to cook authentic Italian food than from Italians. We head to Italy's food valley region of Emilia Romagna, for a private cooking class in Bologna.
    In this private tutorial, we learn how to make the classic ragu from this city, ricotta stuffed tortelloni with a butter and sage sauce, and stuffed courgettes with meatballs.
    Not only do we show you about the class, we also include the ingredients should you wish to attempt to cook any and all these dishes at home!

    So many surprises! I thought zucchini was only an American thing 😂 and I had no idea that milk went into ragu. Mind blown! And I totally agree with wanting a pasta roller...I want to make my own pasta at home now. But honestly, I'd rather go to Italy to learn😋

      You should definitely go to Italy to learn how to make it properly, then apply the skills at home. Pasta maker was a total game changer, but until we have a larger kitchen it will just have to stay on my wish list.

      Hooray, you have 00 flour! If you use the ratio of about 95g flour to an average sized egg and a rolling pin and you'll have yourself some freshly made pasta!
